13/07/2024: Leggendo alcune recensioni mi viene da pensare che alcune persone non sappiano MANGIARE. In una settimana di vacanza siamo venuti 4 volte a mangiare qui tra pranzi e cene per la qualità dei prodotti utilizzati. Qualità dei prodotti eccezionale. Tutti i piatti presi carichi di gusto e veri sapori. Le linguine ai ricci sublimi così come le cozze gratinate, le alici, le lumache (pazzesche), risotti,fino ad arrivare al dolce "aragosta" ripiena di crema buonissima. ieri abbiamo preso un nuovo piatto, linguine allo scorfano su consiglio del Sig.Enrico gentilissimo e disponibilissimo ed è uscito un piatto che difficilmente dimenticheremo. La materia prima in ogni piatto é di qualità e si sente ad ogni boccone. Vino rosè buonissimo. Ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità. Non abbiamo provato la pizza se non i trancetti che a volte portano prima dall'antipasto come benvenuto insieme al pane,molto buona.. Complimenti, ci vediamo presto.

04/05/2024: Aumento dei prezzi a dismisura e il minimo di una pizza decente era di 9 euro, neanche fossimo a Milano.Non dico che si mangia male ma i prezzi sono esagerati, specie quelli delle pizze.. Raffaele

30/03/2024: Very bad. We waited 2 hours for a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. There were four of us, we found ourselves forced to kill time with a couple of beers each and nothing else. Sitting down at 9pm, at 11pm we decided to ask for the bill, giving up the 4 sandwiches ordered which who knows when they would arrive. The bill: €71.50

30/03/2024: Reservation at 9pm, at 11pm we get up and leave. We are a table of 4 people, the order: 4 sandwiches, a platter to accompany with Ciccio (6 pieces = €5), and beers. We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to receive the cutting board. We were told several times from 10am "5 minutes". At the checkout the bill was €71.50, paid with €70, he asked the cashier for the receipt, which he had pretended to forget, he also asked for €1.50. Don't go there guys, dispassionate advice.

22/08/2024: Il ristorante si trova nel borghetto di Otranto e già mangiare all'aperto tra i vicoletti è una bella esperienza. La cucina tipica salentina poi è eccellente e il rapporto qualità prezzo è imbattibile. Ci siamo trovati così bene che sono tornata anche il giorno dopo. La zuppa di cozze è indimenticabile e ottimi anche i primi. Se tornerò a Otranto passerò sicuramente da questo ristorante.

14/08/2024: Posto caratteristico con sale interna e sul mare con una vista sul porticciolo di torre a mare dove cenando all'esterno si può godere in una serata afosa di una leggera frescura cosa da non sottovalutare

13/08/2024: I crudi sono una delizia, così come lo spaghetto all'astice. Il servizio è celere e professionale. Bella la sala, la storia di questo locale del resto parla da sola. E per come mangi paghi più che bene. Nascono tanti ristoranti ma questo regge benissimo alle leggi del tempo.

17/08/2024: Who knows what happened to the Paranza chef! All miserable and terrible! Bigoli with scampi with CREAM! And then... no mussels? But where are we? But why are they there in other restaurants? €55 each wasted on half a miserable starter, a terrible first course and a sixth of fried food and a sixth of local chardonnay. What decay! I hope they can recover, because they were good until the previous winter.

17/08/2024: The place looks very nice and elegant, but the overall experience was disappointing. We had to wait a good 25 minutes just to receive the menu, and throughout the service there was not a smile or a hint from the staff. It's clear that the situation wasn't ideal, as many tables complained about long wait times. The main problem seems to be the lack of staff: only three waiters and a child to cover three rooms and an external veranda. After waiting for an hour and twenty minutes, the food we were served couldn't make up for the disappointment: the quality was just mediocre. With a few simple adjustments, this restaurant could make a significant leap in quality. For example, introducing printed menus instead of the traveling blackboard would improve the flow of service. Furthermore, a dedicated, welcoming and smiling person taking orders would make a big difference. Finally, hiring at least two more waiters would be essential to avoid staff having to rush around, visibly stressed.

03/09/2024: Worst choice ever. Ordered some fritto misto amd they hadn't arrived although more than an hour had passed. Waiters are like non existing.

03/09/2024: I ate a pizza and I was very satisfied. The service is normal but fast. As for the setting it is spectacular with a great view of the sea. I recommend it to anyone.

20/08/2024: Tutto buono nella media, primi gustosi di pasta tipica e dolci interessanti. Abbiamo visto i nostri vicini di tavolo prendere delle belle bistecche da provare.

E’ bello anche vederli lavorare perché si vedere la passione di chi ama il proprio lavoro Piatti squisiti, ingredienti km 0 Pizza che dire…..se avevamo a Roma una pizza con questo impasto penso non avevano concorrenza! Vini di qualità della loro SUPER cantina, tra i pochi in Italia Abbiamo visitato i vigneti nelle vicinanze e sono spettacolari e oltre la qualità’ abbiamo potuto vedere la passione. Le piante di fichi per i dolci, penso che nessuno ristoratore osa tanto. Prezzi onesti, forse anche troppo! GRAZIE PER AVERCI ACCOLTO!! Un abbraccio a tutta la famiglia Merico

28/10/2023: Siamo stati in questo agriturismo invogliati dalle recensioni positive su trip. Arrivati in questo posto siamo stati accolti dal proprietario con diffidenza e poca cortesia. Dopo averci fatto un panegirico sul fatto che il suo locale era il migliore e vero della zona mentre gli altri erano falsi (cosa poco gradevole e risultata anche non vera) ci ha consigliato il suo giro di antipasti. Lo abbiamo seguito. Il cibo e le pietanze erano insignificanti sua come gusto che come aspetto. I piatti e le posate vengono lasciate sempre le stesse a prescindere da quello che uno ha mangiato. Il vino sfuso bianco era imbevibile. I 2 primi i troccoli al sugo niente di che, e soprattutto le orecchiette servite scotte rimandate indietro. Il proprietario si è proposto di rifarle dicendo però che la cottura doveva essere in quel modo. Ci siamo rifiutati. Oltre alla tristezza del locale sporco, facevano girare i propri cani e i gatti fra i tavoli senza chiedere se potevano dare fastidio. Alla fine al conto ci è stato tolto il primo che non avevamo mangiato solo perchè lo abbiamo sottolineato noi, e la ricevuta (che allego in foto) che è tutta un programma. Alla faccia dell'onestà e veridicità del locale. Lo sconsiglio a tutti e andate da altre parti dove non parlano male degli altri perchè fanno bene il loro lavoro

25/10/2023: Siamo stati acena in 4 seguendo le recensioni di TA, ma siamo rimasti delusi dal posto e dalle pietanze. Il locale è in campagna e ci hanno fatto accomodare in una veranda dove regna la confusione e dove la pulizia non è di casa. Fra i tavoli scorrazzavano 3 cani del proprietario. La carrellate di antipasti tanto decanatata dal proprietrio è sena infamia e senza lode e i vassoi ci venivano posrtati sempre sempre senza le posate per consentire di servirsi le pietanze nei piatti. per primo abbiamo preso delle orecchiette che abbiamo rimandato indietro perché scotte. Giudizio finale negativo anche per il conto in quanto i prezze sono medioalti per essere un agriturismo. Locale : 1 - Servizio: 1 - Menu: 1 - Conto: 1

05/08/2024: For years my husband and I have set aside one day a week to go to the Cavaliere tavern for dinner to unplug from the routine of work and household chores. Here we found high quality meat, including breaded bombette, fried meatballs, roasted boiled potatoes with the good flavor of oil and pepper, bruschetta with tomatoes, sausage, lamb, special livers... but in addition to the quality of the meat, the cooking truly done with great experience handed down from father to son and grandchildren...in short, a beautiful family...and where there is family there is home in fact they pamper you with kindness and above all the staff (Maurizio) is always kind and hardworking and very be careful... the place is gorgeous and well looked after and clean! I highly recommend you try it and you will agree with me

20/07/2024: Un cadre sympathique et un accueil agréable. Des verrines de tartare délicatement assaisonnées, des plats chauds au rendez-vous des saveurs. Les quantités sont un peu petites mais les saveurs sont là. Un rapport qualité prix un peu déséquilibré mais un bon souvenir gustatif.
