18/06/2025: We went for lunch… and we also came back for dinner! 😄 “Neverland” in Monopoli was such an extraordinary discovery that I didn’t want to leave Puglia! Between calamarata, linguine with lobster, fried fish and mixed grill, grilled octopus, tuna salad with onions, shrimp cocktail, we really didn’t know what to choose… so we tried everything! Each dish was a little masterpiece: incredible flavors, very fresh fish, generous portions and that extra touch that makes you say “I’ve never eaten so well!” And even our child had his share: thanks to Andreas, the pizza chef, he devoured the pizza and even licked his fingers! Quality and quantity were top marks. We will definitely be back… and we recommend it to anyone who wants to have a truly divine taste experience!

14/06/2025: On our way back from our vacation we stopped in Polignano. We happened to be here and were satisfied with the lunch! Very fresh fried food and excellent quantity of fish! It was all delicious! Friendly staff, I recommend it. Average price.

11/04/2025: We wanted to eat sea urchin, but there was none, but they ordered it within an hour. Everything is fresh, they do their best to get the guest with good feeling. In the small shop, you can choose from the counter, and they take it to the restaurant, where it is baked right there as you wish. I highly recommend it!

06/06/2025: What can I say...ok that on June 2nd it's a mistake to go to a restaurant ok that it was packed, ok that waiting 2 hours between one dish and the next...it's understandable and bearable but that instead of a mixed fried food they bring you pieces of cuttlefish and squid rings cooked 3 times no...this is taking the piss out of you

28/06/2025: Does it ever happen to you to go to a restaurant on the first night of your vacation, fall in love with the dishes and the location and go back every day for a whole week? For us it was like this…. We discovered Marea, after a careful selection of the best locations where you can taste typical Apulian dishes. The first night we entered and found ourselves in a very elegant, refined and cared for place in every detail. You enter breathing in a scent coming from fresh flowers, candles and divided into two areas, one outside in the garden, the other inside with air conditioning. We tried various dishes on the menu, from fresh raw fish of excellent quality and coming from local areas, to first courses, for any taste and delicious, to some typical dishes, a real treat! Even the desserts and sorbets of our own production. Excellent wine cellar. The management is done directly by the owners, each specialized in their role, done with Love and Niche. Thank you for letting us taste your wonderful dishes and for letting us breathe the scent of home, Yours. Impeccable and that we already remember with nostalgia.!

07/04/2025: Accueil très agréable. Nous avions commandé du vin et on nous a très gentiment offert des bombettes pour patienter en attendant nos pizzas. Pizzas excellentes à un prix très raisonnable.

05/06/2025: On espérait une cuisine simple et familiale Grande fut notre déception Un antiparsti mélange de moules pommes de terre et riz aurait pu être intéressant si le chef n’avait eu la main un peu lourde sur le sel Le gratin de pâtes au four était correct par contre l’agneau (collier) était insuffisant et sans raffinement Si le service fut sympathique à l’arrivée il se dégrada très vite au fur et à mesure du remplissage de la salle rendant impossible la commande d’un limocello et nous obligeant à forcer l’obtention de l’addition en nous rendons à la caisse Acaya offre des alternatives de qualité

27/05/2025: Si mangia molto bene, piatti tipici, suggerimenti: da curare la tempistica riguardante l' ordine dei piatti da servire insieme o in seguito ....da ritirare, bellissimo giardino!

11/05/2025: An environment that seems welcoming and a menu that seems "authentic", but in reality the waiting times were inhumane; we arrived with a reservation at 1pm, the starters were brought to us at 2.20pm and the first courses at 3.10pm. The pieces of horse were rubbery, they almost looked like nerves, there was a small piece of plastic in the parmigiana, the only really good dish was the carbonara. The price, around 20 euros per person, would also be adequate if the service and the environment were equally adequate, but unfortunately this was not the case.

15/04/2025: I was disappointed in the expectations I had of this place, once my favorite. Starting from the long, very long waiting times, and ending with the mediocre quality of the first and second courses. I'm sorry but this was my last time.

15/06/2025: Ristorante sits just outside the old town — close enough to feel the charm, but far enough to escape the crowds. Right next to the little harbor full of motorboats, which adds a nice touch of local color. Freshly caught fish of the day, cooked perfectly. We chose our fish, they prepared it beautifully — simple, flavorful, and just right.

01/06/2025: 4 oysters 4 scampi and 4 prawns €73 € a CRAZY ROBBERY that's why tourists skip ahead. I'm a GT bus driver and I come at least ten times with tourists but after my experience I keep them away from your restaurant.

16/06/2025: We went for dinner. Lovely place, excellent food. The vegetables were the best I've ever eaten, I think. Attention to detail and friendly and professional staff. The owner is an exquisite person, a true and serious professional in catering, tourism and hospitality. It's impossible not to go, especially if you're in the area. Book in advance because the restaurant is often full because it's well known by foreigners too. Absolutely competitive prices considering the quality of the offer.

30/05/2025: We went as a family for dinner. It was the most authentic Italian experience of the entire trip. The food was spectacular and authentic, without being touristy. The only downside was that since we ate in the countryside, there were some mosquitoes, but nothing a bandana could fix. The owner was super nice and has a beautiful sustainable project. 100% recommended.
