26/07/2026: A truly disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the older lady who greeted us was extremely rude and unkind, making us feel anything but welcome. We ordered a pasta dish, which turned out to be incredibly spicy, far beyond what we expected. We politely asked if we could have some stracciatella to tone down the heat, but our request was completely ignored: no response, no explanation, and no attempt to accommodate us. The only positive note was a young woman in a white shirt, who was very kind and helpful. We hope she finds a job where courtesy and customer service are more valued. Beyond the food, what really leaves a bitter taste in the mouth is the complete lack of customer service. A little courtesy and helpfulness would have made a huge difference. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

21/07/2026: The food wasn't good. I ordered pasta with seafood. Everything was overly salted and there were empty shells on the plate. I don't recommend it. The service was very poor.

22/05/2026: Modern restaurant, good starters. Unfortunately, everything else needs improvement. First and foremost, the service and welcome. Even though it was a Thursday, we had to wait an hour just to get a bottle of water, and that was after several reminders. An hour and a half to order, and the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, but 15 minutes apart, making it impossible to eat them together. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress, both to take orders and serve the dishes, and also to manage the cash register. If you want good service, you need to invest in hiring at least another waiter. The pizzas weren't appreciated either. Except for the fries and the starters.

19/05/2026: It's a shame, the place looked promising at first glance. We sat down at 8:30 PM, and despite ordering pizzas almost immediately, we received them after two hours. Pizzas, with a Ciccio base, made with raw dough, beers hastily thrown randomly on the tables... right in front of the girls. Chaos and disorganization, and raw pizzas... Not to mention the waitress spraying Quasar wood cleaner on the tables, making the air unbreathable... Never again!

20/07/2026: Il Giardino is nestled among the trulli on Mount San Gabriele, an enchanting place. The staff is very courteous, friendly, and smiling, and the cuisine is traditional. My wife and I loved it, from the homemade Italian orecchiette to the grilled meats—everything was delicious. I would also recommend it for those who want to eat inside the trulli because it's also very cool inside, given that the trulli are cold inside in the summer thanks to the white stone. Rating 10/10

20/07/2026: A wonderful experience. I recommend it because the garden is truly lovely. The owner was incredibly kind. I sat at a table with my girlfriend that was in the sun since everyone else was busy, and the gentleman kindly opened an umbrella for us. The waiters were also very kind and smiling. They brought us plates of fresh, delicious orecchiette pasta, accompanied by a truly unique house wine. They also served a pork rib and salad for a very reasonable price, considering the place you're eating at. I recommend it to everyone. It's a sensational place in the UNESCO-listed trulli, with fantastic staff and food. Thanks again for everything! 5 stars from me!

30/05/2026: For €12, a paltry appetizer. We were told it was for two people, but it wasn't nearly enough. Everything was cold, and the cured meats weren't fresh. It's a tourist trap.

18/05/2026: Last Sunday I had a spritz at this bar. It was served to me full of ice, without a couple of taralli or crisps, without anything, and I paid a whopping €7 for it, plus a 0.50c service charge, and I bought a small bag of crisps myself. As a Venetian, I'm horrified. We pay €4 to €5 for a spritz, and with it, you're offered a bowl of crisps or pretzels or other tasty little appetizers that we call "chicchetti." We use good prosecco, not just Campari and mineral water, as I believe this one has been done, and we always ask the customer if they'd like some ice, too. It's better than sipping on a good Primitivo or Aleatico in Puglia; leave the spritz up north. Stay away!!!

21/04/2026: The showers haven't worked. For years.

17/02/2026: I ordered a first course, which according to the menu on the wall should have cost me €4.50. I got to the cashier and they asked me if I only had the first course, and I said yes. They then asked me if I wanted a drink, and I said no. "It's €5.00," they told me. I then pointed out that the price on the menu was €4.50, but the lady at the cashier told me it wasn't up to date. I didn't want to make a fuss, but I wondered if I paid the extra 0.50 cents because I consumed too little, or because there was indeed a price increase but it wasn't indicated anywhere? Dishonest anyway.

27/07/2026: We passed through Bari, and before visiting the city, we decided to buy three small bottles of still water (€4.50). After initially refusing, we insisted on paying by card. In a rude and inappropriate manner, the woman called us back into the shop, claiming the payment hadn't been made, and made us pay again (€9 for three bottles of water in total). After demonstrating that the money had indeed been taken, she claimed she needed to speak to her daughter-in-law. We waited half an hour, and in the end, she didn't even refund the full amount, claiming she didn't have enough change, forcing us to buy another bottle of water. I strongly advise against it.

15/06/2026: They invite you to sit down, even if you're just passing by, to charge the fee. I've only seen service charges at a certain level, and it should be clearly marked, not made up on the spot. However, if you happen to be faced with this, resist the surcharge for sitting on a plastic chair with a plastic table.
