Great location, very friendly and kind staff, great wines at good prices, super tasty salads, the best pizza we've had in Italy, the fish and seafood are very fresh and delicious. We discovered it on the first night and only had dinner there all 4 nights. I recommend it with both hands!

25/05/2025: The first courses are very good especially, very central as a place. The staff is really very kind, I really recommend it. The Garden room is very beautiful where it seems like you are not even in the center.

28/05/2025: We only used the restaurant. Our opinion is clear, since we had dinner there for two of the two nights we stayed in Santa Margherita. The food is really excellent. Since the first night we especially appreciated the green tagliolini with scorpion fish and angler fish, recommended by the very kind, expert, and very attentive maître Angelo, the second night we relied on his advice completely, tasting delicacies: the standouts were a fillet of red tuna in a pistachio crust, soft and tasty, and breaded cod cooked at low temperature with a cream of caramelized onions. And anyway, even the basic orecchiette with sauce, here seem better. The quality/price ratio is really excellent. We will be back.

13/05/2025: We stayed not in hotels but in apartments connected to them. Not bad except that to go up you pass next to the kitchen with very strong smells that are not always pleasant.

Ai clienti più antiche non è sfuggito che il carrello degli antipasti ha perduto le cose più carine e costose, quindi non li prendiamo più. Anche perché il carrello degli antipasti è passato proprio come concetto. In effetti, la locanda è proprio la scena di un film sul sud degli anni Ottanta, nel bene e nel male. Il bene sta in una cucina semplice, familiare e a costi impressionanti. Una pizza margherita a 5€ non so dove si possa più trovare. Il male sta nell’ immutabilità. Il personale è molto gentile. 16/02/2025: Customers for the first time and it was as if we had been customers for a lifetime with hospitality and they convey to you the love for their work with the attached pride of attention to always guaranteeing quality with their heads held high. WELL DONE!!!

11/05/2025: An environment that seems welcoming and a menu that seems "authentic", but in reality the waiting times were inhumane; we arrived with a reservation at 1pm, the starters were brought to us at 2.20pm and the first courses at 3.10pm. The pieces of horse were rubbery, they almost looked like nerves, there was a small piece of plastic in the parmigiana, the only really good dish was the carbonara. The price, around 20 euros per person, would also be adequate if the service and the environment were equally adequate, but unfortunately this was not the case.

15/04/2025: I was disappointed in the expectations I had of this place, once my favorite. Starting from the long, very long waiting times, and ending with the mediocre quality of the first and second courses. I'm sorry but this was my last time.

19/05/2025: When I pass through to go and come back from the south it is now a fixed stop because it is located at the Candela toll booth exit. Excellent typical local cuisine, very kind staff, normal portions. Ample free parking.

12/10/2024: Very nice and characteristic place in the historic center of Acquaviva. Unfortunately the choice on the menu was very limited. Only one type of bottled beer (and not even a particular one), there was no draft beer or other types, three types of appetizers of which one was missing and little choice of accompanying drinks, only one type of dessert. I didn't find anything like what is shown in the photo. There was only one person at the service who didn't know what was there or what wasn't there and gradually came to tell us.

08/05/2025: Decent restaurant, but I didn't like the linguine with clams at all (perhaps the frozen clams). The dish wasn't on the menu, but I asked for it as an alternative to seafood linguine. The rest is good (peppered mussels, linguine with sea urchins, fried prawns and calamari).

25/05/2025: I have been to this tavern and unfortunately the experience was anything but positive. The only truly appreciable aspect was the kindness of the staff, always courteous and helpful despite everything else leaving much to be desired. The portions were really small, and the prices absolutely disproportionate to the quality of the dishes, which were anonymous and poorly cared for. In short: good service, but disappointing cuisine and a salty bill. I will not return. If I could give 0 I would.

13/04/2025: It turns out that people here have such low expectations for Michelin! The food tastes bad and the portion is pathetic. I entered at 2pm. The service staff gathered together and chatted loudly, thinking that others could not understand Italian. It was the first time I saw service staff watching the guests eat the whole time. The service attitude was very impatient, as if they were all waiting for you to check out and leave quickly! When giving me change, I deliberately gave me less…
