15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms. As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full. What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)

15/10/2025: The waiter brought us a coffee with normal milk when we specified soya. We are both extremely lactose intolerant. When we asked for a new coffee and sent it back they refused to remove it from the bill and said it wasn’t their fault. Terrible service.

14/10/2025: No toilet seat or toilet paper in the ladies or gents toilets. No toilet seat unfortunately seems standard in most of restaurants in Puglia

23/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A real favorite is L’Aréna del Gusto! Everything is excellent: hearty, tasty, and generous dishes, served with a smile and great kindness by the entire staff. ❤️ If you're passing through Monopoli, don't hesitate for a second: go eat there once... or several times! You'll never be disappointed. A place to recommend without hesitation! 🍝🍷

12/09/2025: The best meal I have had in Ostuni. Multiple courses with amazing food originating from Ostuni. Angela and Stefano were amazing hosts and so friendly. It felt like I was at home. The set menu was a great option as we had different plates to try. Would recommend highly.

11/09/2025: The orecchiette was floating on the plate in the water it had been cooked in. My dinner was a disappointment. Perhaps other dishes are tastier there, but I wouldn't recommend the pasta. There are places in Ostuni that offer tastier food.

21/10/2025: Found by chance, just a few minutes' drive from the center of Polignano. The veranda offers a spectacular view of the small beach and the Abbey of San Vito. Excellent lunch featuring the freshest seafood, all sourced locally. Quick, friendly, and efficient service. Very fair prices. Kudos to the entire staff.

15/10/2025: Great spot on a quiet beach. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, fresh and full of flavor. Friendly service. Highly recommended if you want to escape the bustle of the towns but still enjoy a delicious meal by the sea!

14/10/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening, making a reservation for 8:45 PM (specifying a table inside) via the dedicated app. Unfortunately, despite this being our third dinner at this pizzeria, I can't give it more than 4 stars because, upon arrival, we waited until 9:20 PM for the table outside, in a gazebo covered with plastic sheets. It was freezing cold, and the stove was broken! The pizza and sandwich arrived at 10:22 PM. We nibbled a bit and left because we were two popsicles! No complaints about the quality of the pizza—excellent ingredients and a very light and tasty dough—but the wait, and especially the cold, ruined the evening! We didn't get to enjoy our dinner; in fact, we ate half a portion and took the rest away in a takeout box! Unfortunately, you can't sit in the cold for over an hour. I hope next time, if there is one, they'll pay more attention to their customers!

12/10/2025: While on vacation in Puglia near Gioia del Colle, we found this pizzeria truly interesting. Numerous pizzas with a choice of dough, high-quality ingredients, starting with mozzarella or burrata, sourced directly from local dairies. Simple but attentive service. We enjoyed the platter filled with local specialties and pizzas. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially for the wood-fired oven.

07/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant right next to the church of Santi Medici. It's a lovely, traditional setting with a single room seating a maximum of fifty people. Prices are average, and the wait staff are always very kind and attentive (especially the head waiter). We opted for the €35 tasting menu (which wasn't widely advertised), which was truly comprehensive, with a generous traditional appetizer, a choice of two first courses, and a slice of meat, plus water, service charge, and coffee. The chef/owner was also very present, frequently checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. I disagree with the reviewer who claimed you couldn't split the bill with two credit cards; we did so without any problem. And the reviewers who mentioned insistence on offering dishes different from those chosen were not pressured, but rather made kind suggestions. Final rating: 8/10

05/10/2025: We enjoyed a few dishes that were as good as home made. The polpette di Nonna tasted just like my grandmother's! Our server was very nice.

09/10/2025: A seafood dinner featuring typical Taranto dishes. The venue is quite elegant, the food excellent, and the staff friendly and professional.

08/09/2025: Without comparison, if you pass through Taranto it is a must-see stop

29/09/2025: We were there two weeks ago. When I booked, I kindly asked if they'd give us a table on the first floor, with a sea view, and they accommodated me, even though it was a Sunday and we booked last minute. Excellent food and friendly service. I recommend this place.

22/09/2025: Excellent for those who want to enjoy seafood specialties in a seaside setting. Good service, although we had a bit of a wait for the starters (the place was packed), good prices, and friendly management.

25/07/2025: Fantastic food, one of the tastiest Caprese salads I've ever eaten. The first courses were truly delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

19/10/2025: This restaurant is located in Poggiorsini, a small town in the Murgia hills of Bari. The restaurant is charming and spacious. We ate local produce, such as orecchiette, and were greeted by the owner with joy.

14/07/2025: This is our second stay here in two and a half years. This hotel has its own charm, the pool is just amazing. And the rooms are adequate. Dora is so kind🥰 every morning she takes the time to prepare a delicious (savory) breakfast for us, and the rooms are always cleaned while we're away. The only downside, when you're unfamiliar with the city, is that they don't serve lunch or dinner (at least during our stay). Be aware that the hotel hosts events on Friday and Saturday evenings, so you have to be prepared before choosing it as your place of stay. And thank you also to Antonio (the owner) for the welcome. 27/05/2025: Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet little place. Varied menu, with many first courses available, from meat to fish to pizzeria. I attach some photos of the dinner served in this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, and in winter there is the possibility of dining next to the lit fireplace, which makes this restaurant my absolute favourite. The pizza topped with onion, dried tomatoes and chips, tortelli with gratin cheeses baked, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, seafood salad and frying. I forgot to photograph the pizza, thin and well seasoned. Stupendous.
