It seems as if we were bothering them for a simple coffee, I came several times and always found the same terrible atmosphere... there is a lot of rudeness and antipathy that dominates this maison. Never again… now I'm going to my maison but very saddened and taken badly.

27/02/2024: Sono diversi anni che ho il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante...io e la mia compagna lo abbiamo trovato per caso e ce ne siamo subito innamorati. Cordiali, professionali e sempre al top i ragazzi dello staff. Per quanto riguarda le pietanze offerte dal loro vasto Menù, sempre tutto ottimo, prodotti di altissima qualità, presentati in maniera raffinata ( e non " appoggiati " nel piatto come fanno in alcuni locali) e serviti con il sorriso e con tanta di descrizione dettagliata del Piatto. Cosa consiglierei? Potete provare qualunque cosa, è tutto squisito ,antipasti,primi ,secondi e per ultimo ma non per importanza, le pizze; una delle poche pizzerie che ti danno la possibilità di scegliere tra impasto in stile napoletano o classico...insomma riescono sempre ad accontentare i gusti di tutti i clienti. "Polpette della nonna" buonissime, salumi e formaggi ottimi ( d'altronde siamo a Gioia del colle, non poteva che essere così). Continuate così ragazzi,che siete sulla buona strada per diventare un ristorante stellato.. Spero di poter tornare da voi al più presto

28/08/2024: Strange restaurant. Spent 2 hours here waiting for mediocre food- crisps with BBQ sauce on them feels an odd dish to be served vs what was described on the menu. Stick to the pizza and you will be okay, everything else we had didn’t hit the spot…. Maybe they were just too busy

04/06/2024: Sono stato al Malcandrino circa un anno fa e mi ero trovato bene. Essendo di nuovo a Lecce - vivo a Roma- sono riandato con la mia compagna e con le mie due bassotte Mirtilla e Noce. Devo dire che il balzo in avanti della cucina è stato notevole. Ho mangiato un uovo con spuma di patate di una delicatezza incredibile. Ho poi mangiato lo gnocco con il baccalà , un piatto sublime: ho fatto i miei complimenti al gentilissimo proprietario il dottor Luigi sempre presente in sala . La mia compagna ha mangiato uno spaghettone con calamari e carciofi dalla cottura perfetta e dal sapore molto bilanciato. Ottime le verdure grigliate prodotte nell’azienda del proprietario . Abbiamo bevuto un ottimo Fiano dal ricarico più che onesto. Prezzo in due 70 euro , che data la estrema qualità del cibo è davvero sorprendente. In conclusione siamo stati veramente bene tra l’altro in un una location di gran fascino.,tra antiche botti e volte a stella. Malcandrino continuate cosi: bravi!

18/05/2024: L’endroit est dans une ancienne cave à vin. Cuisine créative et bien présentée, le personnel ne parle pas l’anglais, dès lors les échanges sont limités. Un problème entre l’addition et le montant débité par carte nous a fait leur écrire un mail pour récupérer les 50 euros silence radio… lorsque nous avions réservé par e-mail la réponse nous était parvenue dans l’heure. Nous y sommes retournés en personne le lendemain, des excuses sur le bout des lèvres, un peu limite.

20/02/2024: Spinti dalle ottime recensioni, il nostro viaggio, alla scoperta delle tradizioni culinarie salentine, ci porta in questa osteria!!!. Frittini misti eccezionali,pumbutori scattarisciati sublime, secondi da sballo. Inoltre il menu, prevedeva altri piatti, molto particolari mai visti in altri luoghi. Tutto innaffiato da un rosso fruttato e leggero. Promosso a pieni voti!!!

05/01/2024: In questo incantevole angolo del Salento ogni qualvolta passiamo a Castiglione torniamo nella trattoria Vardacieli dove veniamo accolti dai proprietari in una atmosfera familiare e cordiale. I piatti della tradizione sono cucinati con sapienza e amore. Ottime le pitture all’acqua,da provare, così come il fritto di totani freschissimi e strepitoso il dolce alla ricotta. La qualità è sempre costante caratteristica ultimamente poco diffusa nel Salento.

24/08/2024: Quite a tourist place, the guys were kind but the service itself was very poor, no attention to detail. Nice location by the sea...at least the pizza was good. I don't think I'll go back. Average prices...25 euros per person to eat pizza, beer and some fries.

24/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante situato in un piccolo vicolo all'ingresso del centro storico di Polignano. Il locale dispone di tavolini all'aperto. Cibo buono sia i primi che i secondi, Personale gentile. Prezzi medio alti. Nel complesso si può ritornare....

11/07/2024: I often order their pizza at home and it's always safe. Soft dough, quality ingredients and it's always hot upon arrival. A real goodness. The place is also very nice, with a rustic and homely atmosphere, and a menu with a wide choice, not only when it comes to pizzas.

21/07/2024: Carbonara di Mare che mantiene la parola, sugo di carbonara VERO però di mare. Le crocchette di patate, le più buone che abbia mai mangiato. Composto di patate buonissimo con panatura CROCCANTE, formano un gusto prevalentemente BUONISSIMO, ma anche gioioso. Pinsa con tartare di tonno, feta, pomodorini e rucola spettacolare.
