14/07/2025: This is our second stay here in two and a half years. This hotel has its own charm, the pool is just amazing. And the rooms are adequate. Dora is so kind🥰 every morning she takes the time to prepare a delicious (savory) breakfast for us, and the rooms are always cleaned while we're away. The only downside, when you're unfamiliar with the city, is that they don't serve lunch or dinner (at least during our stay). Be aware that the hotel hosts events on Friday and Saturday evenings, so you have to be prepared before choosing it as your place of stay. And thank you also to Antonio (the owner) for the welcome. 12/10/2025: One of the few establishments open at this time (others closed or limited menu) pleasant welcome and smiling staff. We ate very well, good fresh products. We hadn't booked, few people. It was perfect.

11/10/2025: Found it by chance during a bike ride, we went there as a couple, without a reservation. The staff was very welcoming, the place is family-run and frequented by local Italians, which was reassuring. No pizza at lunchtime, but it allowed us to focus on fresh seafood! The dishes were delicious and the price was right. The service, although we don't speak Italian (yet), was pleasant and we were able to make ourselves understood by our very cheerful waiter.

05/11/2025: We stopped for lunch. The place is very close to the center. We were just unlucky enough to be at a small table, but that was only because it was crowded, and they were kind enough to seat us, so we accepted. Exceptional food. Average prices.

01/11/2025: Warning: potential tourist trap! A fellow student and I visited this restaurant because it was recommended by the local Italian language school that we were attending. This was one of three restaurants that the school recommended, as the school gave us a plastic card that was supposed to provide a discount when dining there. Upon seating us, a waiter brought to our table an oven pan with two whole baked fish in it. He shoved the pan in front of my colleague, indicating that he should order it. Since we're just students of the language, the pressure was on to select it, and that's just what my colleague did. I politely declined the offer, so next, the same waiter brought out a huge platter of raw meat to me, urging me to select a steak. I declined that offer, as well. We later noticed that the staff was following the same aggressive presentation to the table next to us. When the whole baked fish arrived, the waiter asked my colleague if he wanted the fish filleted. My colleague said "yes," not knowing that he would incur an extra 12 euro charge for that service. The food that I ordered was edible. I have had good braciole before; this was not a good braciole. It was tough and dry, even though it was served as cooked with tomato sauce. I have also had seafood pasta dishes that were admirable in Puglia; my seafood pasta dish that night was not very good. Some of the mussel shells hadn't even opened when they served me the plate. The real kick was the check. For a restaurant recommended to students for its discount, the check was 137 Euros. When my colleague presented the card issued by the language school, they reluctantly gave us a 7 euro discount. We should have known of the tourist trap potential when it appeared that most every patron was a visitor -- and not a local. There are some great restaurants in Alberobello. Please be careful with this one.

21/09/2025: The Grand Hotel Terme is a true oasis of relaxation. Perfectly located near the thermal baths and the sea, it offers a complete wellness experience. The rooms are comfortable, with attentive and professional service. The spa is beautiful, with rejuvenating treatments and a thermal pool that makes your stay even more special. An excellent choice for those seeking tranquility and pampering. The staff is truly exceptional. Welcoming, professional, and always available, they make every guest feel at home. A true highlight of the hotel!

19/09/2025: I stayed at this hotel with my parents from September 7 to 17, 2025. The stay was extremely pleasant. The hotel enjoys an extremely convenient location, very central and practically on the beach; the Lido Terme is reached via a pedestrian walkway and sits on a wide stretch of fine sand with clean, shallow water and well-spaced umbrellas. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and meticulously clean, each with a small balcony. The staff and management are courteous, professional, and always available. The cuisine is good and varied. Highly recommended.

Everything is excellent: hearty, tasty, and generous dishes, served with a smile and great kindness by the entire staff. ❤️ If you're passing through Monopoli, don't hesitate for a second: go eat there once... or several times! You'll never be disappointed. A place to recommend without hesitation! 🍝🍷

31/08/2025: Excellent and plentiful appetizers Pizza by the meter is a great idea, but they should also offer a traditional round pizza (they only make it for those with food intolerances). Slow service, about an hour before taking the order.

10/06/2025: J'avais demandé à l'IA le chat mistral un restaurant à Alberbello qui ne soit pas un attrape touriste, il m'a conseillé celui-ci ! Pas déçu, bon rapport qualité prix, et serveurs très gentils, il y avait même une serveuse qui parlait français ! Parfait !

05/09/2025: I'm giving one star because it's the minimum I can give, otherwise I'd give less. We waited 30 minutes for a bucket of ice that arrived melted, the wine was lukewarm, the liqueur was hot, and we also had long waits for the dishes. The quality of the food was mediocre and has even gotten worse since the last time we came. Never again.
