22/03/2026: WOW! The food is wonderful 🤩 Everything is delicious. The only flaw is in one of the off-menu dishes, the spaghetti with lobster. The lobster is very chewy, but otherwise it's a spectacle. Trust me and go there.

09/03/2026: The food is excellent; it's simple, traditional cuisine, with a seasonal menu that respects the ingredients. The seafood linguine is excellent. The restaurant is located in Acaya, a small village in the province of Lecce, a short walk from the castle. There's a lovely fireplace. The service is friendly. 100% recommended.

07/12/2025: This was our first time at this little restaurant and we had a lovely lunch. Everything was perfect, and the waiters were kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back; I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We entered L’Aragosta initially attracted by the location: a truly stunning setting, practically on the sea, which alone is worth the visit. 💥 Once seated, however, the surprise was even more pleasant: the quality of the cuisine absolutely lives up to the setting. And we say this as Taranto residents, therefore accustomed and demanding when it comes to seafood and fish. We started with the freshest raw seafood, truly excellent. Next, tagliolini with sea urchins and tagliolini with scorpionfish, both carefully prepared, flavorful, and well-balanced. The fried fish was also excellent, light and crispy. The service was also much appreciated: the staff was kind, attentive, and recommended a perfect wine to accompany the dishes. Overall, a more than positive experience from every point of view. We left fully satisfied after complimenting the restaurant manager😊. We will definitely be back!

Not only that, he instinctively understands the customers' needs and knows how to be a leader, bringing harmony to the group and inviting them to another glass of wine...the healthy kind. 03/11/2025: Piccolo Paradiso da Mario's Restaurant, Peschici: Enchanting Views and Welcoming Service The unparalleled highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Peschici Bay, which makes every dinner, especially at sunset, a charming and romantic experience. The atmosphere is simple and informal. The menu offers cuisine focused on fresh seafood and the flavors of the Gargano. We particularly enjoyed the carefully prepared pasta dishes and grilled fish and meat. The pizzeria is also a good option. Special praise goes to the service: the team was friendly, courteous, and helpful with all guests, helping to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Those planning to reach the restaurant by car should be aware that, especially in high season, parking in the immediate vicinity can be extremely difficult. We recommend planning your arrival well in advance.

29/10/2025: In Peschici the last week of August, looking for a nice place for dinner on our last night, trusting the reviews we chose this restaurant. The room with a table with a spectacular view of the bay, 5 stars for sure. The service was poor (we ordered 1 liter of sparkling white wine... we received still white wine... we first pointed it out to one waitress and nothing... then to the other and nothing... then she came back to tell us they had that! Fine... but maybe they should have mentioned it when we ordered it, right?). The fact of seeing the fireplace outside the room, where they cook the fish, had raised good expectations... which however were not met. Good flavors, but nothing special. Portions: for the first courses (spaghetti with clams) ok... for the second courses (prawns, mixed grill, mixed fried fish) we have found better in other places. It's a shame because for the location it's worth it. For 4 people (1 starter, 2 first courses, 3 second courses, 1 litre of wine, 1 water and 2 cokes) we paid €142.00 including 4 place settings at €2.50 each.

12/05/2026: I've been meaning to write a few lines about Facula for a while, and finally I do. Besides being a first-rate rotisserie, they serve truly excellent Roman pinsa and calzones, which are hard to find this good in the area. But it's when you sit down and order pizza that the quality really rises. The pizzas (customizable) are fragrant, with a light, well-leavened, and well-cooked dough. It stays crispy without being dry, the crust is airy and fragrant, and you can tell they take great care in cooking and use a quality oven. Those working behind the scenes make the difference—well done! The toppings are top-notch and well-balanced, with fresh ingredients, well-made fior di latte mozzarella, and a perfect balance of flavors. Nothing overdone, plenty of substance. Both the classic and more elaborate options are tasty and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxed, even though it's located on Corso Roma. Inside, there's a relaxed atmosphere, with courteous, efficient, and unhurried service—just how I like it. In short, a reliable, centrally located establishment with excellent value. No frills or over-the-top pretensions, just substance and well-made products. It's become a regular stop for me every time I'm in Gallipoli. If you're passing through, I highly recommend it; you'll leave happy.

You can tell the ingredients are top-quality, and the price is truly excellent for what you get. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

16/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome. Even though our English was rudimentary and our Italian nonexistent, the staff took an incredible amount of time and patience to understand us and fulfill our wishes. The sunset during dinner... priceless. The food itself was incredibly delicious; we had tuna, pasta carbonara, and pasta with pesto alla genovese (or something like that)... We were looked after in a very unobtrusive yet genuinely kind manner, and nothing was lacking. A huge compliment, and we will definitely come back. 🫶🏻

24/02/2026: A fantastic, somewhat upscale restaurant. Highly recommended! Everything was perfect and we felt very comfortable.

24/01/2026: We stopped, drawn by the informal atmosphere: a wooden kiosk with large windows on the waterfront, the kind where fishermen once cooked, so you'd expect to eat spaghetti with clams cooked al dente with a glass of white wine. Instead, we were surprised to find ourselves in a "pretentious" restaurant with leather chairs, a serious waiter, and, most importantly, the obligation to order a very elaborate and therefore overpriced tasting menu for our lunch break, which was supposed to be quick and easy. No simple dishes: just sophisticated combinations that you have to be in the mood for... and which we didn't have the urge for at that moment. A good chef should be judged primarily by his ability to please EVERYONE'S palate, not by the fact that he thinks he's in a MasterChef competition every day! I don't argue with the price, but I do protest the imposition of a fixed-price menu (not specified before entering and sitting down), with no option for personalized variations. For example: there were no vegetables on the menu, not even a green salad! And on top of all that, the excruciatingly slow service made us run away before we even had our coffee! When the era of celebrity chefs ends and we return to eating with joy and humility, it will be a great celebration for everyone!

20/05/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely unwelcome. We found hair in the food, and the clams were clearly not fresh and badly overcooked. When we tried to politely explain that we were unhappy with the meal and service, the staff refused to listen and dismissed our concerns entirely. Despite the poor treatment, we were still forced to pay a service fee, which felt unreasonable considering the way we were treated. The overall attitude of the staff made us feel like a burden, even to the point of dropping the menus in front of us without basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.

17/05/2026: Good food, but very slow and evasive service that does not follow up with customers during dinner. One of the main courses did not come with the others. The waiter noticed it and said - "wait a minute". We waited thirty minutes for it to arrive😔 The service showed no understanding that it was poor service.
