10/06/2025: Il 25 maggio 2025 abbiamo scelto il ristorante *Malcandrino* per festeggiare un’occasione speciale: la Cresima di nostro figlio. Ci era stato consigliato, e possiamo dire di aver fatto una scelta davvero perfetta. Abbiamo trovato un ambiente accogliente, curato nei minimi dettagli, con un servizio professionale e attento. Il cibo è stato ottimo, ricco di sapori autentici e presentato con grande cura. Non possiamo non ringraziare in modo particolare il responsabile, Andrea, che si è dimostrato disponibile e comprensivo: a causa di un imprevisto di viaggio, alcuni ospiti hanno tardato ad arrivare, e nonostante gli impegni serali del locale, ha gestito il tutto con grande eleganza e senza farci sentire in alcun modo sotto pressione. Un posto speciale, che merita davvero di essere conosciuto e apprezzato. Grazie di cuore per aver contribuito a rendere questa giornata indimenticabile!

05/10/2025: Average experience at this restaurant. The food was decent, but the interactions with the waiters and the owner were rather cold and lacking in friendliness. As soon as we arrived, a bottle was placed and opened on the table without our being asked for our opinion. I don't particularly recommend this restaurant, which seems to prioritize profit over quality of service.

04/10/2025: Definitely worth a visit, just a bit quiet when we went, mid week @ 21:30. Good value as is the whole of Puglia.

12/09/2025: The best meal I have had in Ostuni. Multiple courses with amazing food originating from Ostuni. Angela and Stefano were amazing hosts and so friendly. It felt like I was at home. The set menu was a great option as we had different plates to try. Would recommend highly.

11/09/2025: The orecchiette was floating on the plate in the water it had been cooked in. My dinner was a disappointment. Perhaps other dishes are tastier there, but I wouldn't recommend the pasta. There are places in Ostuni that offer tastier food.

27/05/2025: Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet little place. Varied menu, with many first courses available, from meat to fish to pizzeria. I attach some photos of the dinner served in this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, and in winter there is the possibility of dining next to the lit fireplace, which makes this restaurant my absolute favourite. The pizza topped with onion, dried tomatoes and chips, tortelli with gratin cheeses baked, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, seafood salad and frying. I forgot to photograph the pizza, thin and well seasoned. Stupendous.

31/07/2025: Finalmente dopo tanto tempo,siamo riusciti a portare i nostri amici,increduli di un ristorante di pesce a Putignano.Solo Dal Mollusco,abbiamo mangiato del eccellente crudo di mare,altri antipasti,due primi,una frittura di una croccantezza unica.Chiaramente sempre sotto il vigile occhio di Donato,il titolare di una gentilezza è professionalità unica,cerca sempre di soddisfare le nostre richieste.Anche in sala,personale qualificato,gentilezza sempre attenti nel non farci mancare nulla a tavola.Dopo tutto questo cibo,i nostri amici sempre increduli,ma soddisfatti dicendo che ci sarà un ritorno.Aggiungo un grazie a tutti,ed un arrivederci alla prossima.

11/09/2025: I stopped by both ways on my way to and from vacation to charge my electric car (Tesla). The service was very convenient, with a 300kW HPC, and the food was delicious, from starters to main courses to desserts. Great prices, and thanks to Mario, if I'm not mistaken, and his father for their kindness! We'll be back.

10/09/2025: Today's cuisine leaves much to be desired!!! We'd love for you to return to the old culinary and hospitality traditions. No more, no less, than the ones that have brought you the fame and respect you've earned over the years... Come on, guys!!! See you soon!!!!!

29/09/2025: The place has a lot of potential, both for its location and its food (which is still good quality). But the organization, the ownership, and (some) of the staff definitely ruin the experience. After my first visit, I gave it a second chance, because anyone can have a bad night. Instead, my first impression was confirmed: total disorganization, rudeness (even bordering on rudeness), unreasonable wait times, and a lack of customer service. Tension was also evident among the staff (with heated arguments in one of the main dining rooms). There won't be a third chance.

07/09/2025: Excellent meat, excellent beers, good service

15/10/2025: The waiter brought us a coffee with normal milk when we specified soya. We are both extremely lactose intolerant. When we asked for a new coffee and sent it back they refused to remove it from the bill and said it wasn’t their fault. Terrible service.

14/10/2025: No toilet seat or toilet paper in the ladies or gents toilets. No toilet seat unfortunately seems standard in most of restaurants in Puglia

15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms. As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full. What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)

14/10/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening, making a reservation for 8:45 PM (specifying a table inside) via the dedicated app. Unfortunately, despite this being our third dinner at this pizzeria, I can't give it more than 4 stars because, upon arrival, we waited until 9:20 PM for the table outside, in a gazebo covered with plastic sheets. It was freezing cold, and the stove was broken! The pizza and sandwich arrived at 10:22 PM. We nibbled a bit and left because we were two popsicles! No complaints about the quality of the pizza—excellent ingredients and a very light and tasty dough—but the wait, and especially the cold, ruined the evening! We didn't get to enjoy our dinner; in fact, we ate half a portion and took the rest away in a takeout box! Unfortunately, you can't sit in the cold for over an hour. I hope next time, if there is one, they'll pay more attention to their customers!

12/10/2025: While on vacation in Puglia near Gioia del Colle, we found this pizzeria truly interesting. Numerous pizzas with a choice of dough, high-quality ingredients, starting with mozzarella or burrata, sourced directly from local dairies. Simple but attentive service. We enjoyed the platter filled with local specialties and pizzas. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially for the wood-fired oven.

09/10/2025: A seafood dinner featuring typical Taranto dishes. The venue is quite elegant, the food excellent, and the staff friendly and professional.

12/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, excellent food, polite and always helpful staff, Mrs. Lucia always available and welcoming, excellent prices, I've been there 3 times already, I will go back because I wouldn't change it for anyone else.
