19/10/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.

13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate. We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip. The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer. If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!

06/09/2025: Delicious mixed seafood appetizer. Everything was tasty and varied. Perfect for sharing. The linguine with spider crab was truly delicious and delicate. The seadas were excellent. Good service. The restaurant is small, divided into several rooms, so reservations are recommended.

06/11/2025: I dined at this restaurant two nights in a row. A wonderful discovery! The restaurant is beautiful and very welcoming. There's also a small covered and heated terrace. The staff is very professional and friendly. The food is superb! The fish and seafood are incredibly fresh. I tried the ceviche, the trio of tartare, the tuna steak, and the beef fillet (for meat lovers)—everything was perfect. They also have a good wine selection. If you're looking for a "real restaurant," this is an excellent choice. The prices are a bit higher than other restaurants in Bari, but it's entirely justified. They really go the extra mile! 😉 Thank you to the whole team; I had two wonderful evenings in your company.

04/11/2025: The soup for two for €60 looked like this (see photo). There was very little fish, and the tail in the photo was raw. To be fair, they replaced it, but the bruschetta was burnt.

17/06/2025: This restaurant deserves top marks in every way. The food is fabulous and the service is attentive. Customers truly feel at home here. The ingredients are of exceptional quality, and the freshness of the fish is particularly noteworthy. If you want to eat well in Ruvo di Puglia, there's no need to even think about it; Filippo is always a guarantee.

13/11/2025: A wonderful meal. The pasta with mushrooms was a 10/10, plus very good wine and dessert. The restaurant is unassuming, but the food is very tasty.

25/10/2025: Belami in Maglie was a major disappointment. The “catch of the day” was clearly old and smelled off, left by our table in hopes we’d choose one of those fish. We declined and decided to order an à la carte seafood pasta instead, asking if it could be cooked without wine due to dietary requirements. The waiter said the only option without wine was the Chianina ragù, as all other pasta dishes were already pre-mixed, unless we chose one of the smelly fish of the day. If the food were freshly prepared, the chef could have easily made a seafood pasta from the menu without wine. Most dishes seemed pre-cooked or frozen. I honestly don’t understand how this place can be mentioned in the Michelin guide. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but in this case, it was necessary.

28/08/2025: Belami Maglie is a true gastronomic gem in Salento. Under the guidance of the talented chef Tiziano Margarito, each dish becomes a memorable experience: the combination of creativity, refinement and respect for local ingredients is felt in every detail. The elegant atmosphere, impeccable service and wine selection perfectly complete the culinary journey. A place where passion and professionalism meet – certainly a restaurant that has all the assets to be a candidate for a Michelin star.

06/12/2025: We had orichiette with sausage and ragu and finished off with hot chocolate, tiramisu and chocolate and coconut tart. Very good food and close to the main streets of Alberoberro.

05/12/2025: The location is excellent, and if you arrive early for dinner, you can see the sunset. As for the evening dining experience, it's decent, though the price is on the higher side, mainly due to the view.

30/10/2025: The food was unfortunately oversalted; I think the cook was having a bad day. However, considering the prices, it's outrageous – €18 for pasta! 😀 And be sure to check the prices on the menu; they simply added €10 to the bill.

30/10/2025: Decent food with typical Apulian dishes. Small atmosphere. Attentive staff. The only flaw is the burnt fries.

15/11/2025: Wonderful experience all round. Attentive staff, lovely setting, comfy seats. The set menu was really good, with a surprise at every dish. "pieno" was accomplished, after just fitting in dessert. Price was reasonable, and prosecco relatively inexpensive. We booked at 7:30, which is early for down south, so next time Will aim for 830-9, when most others arrive.

09/11/2025: My family and I had lunch at Gustavo's and were truly satisfied. The set menu was meticulously prepared, with every course beautifully presented, everything delicious and made with quality ingredients. The attention to special dietary needs was also excellent: there was a gluten-free version of the menu, with equally delicious alternatives. A restaurant where you eat well and are welcomed with kindness—we'll gladly return!

08/11/2025: I'm a professional driver and I often go to San Giovanni Rotondo. Since I discovered this place, I've been coming back more often. The quality/price ratio is top notch. Excellent food, rock-bottom prices. Pasquale, the owner, is incredibly kind and delightful. I recommend this place to everyone.

11/10/2025: A 5-star quick meal. While looking for a quick bite, I found Pranzi Express, which was truly delicious, from the first course to the second course, etc. I had Emilian wheels, parmigiana, pork loin with arugula and parmesan, and potato gatoo' for the modest price of 18 euros, nice large portions. Really good. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity, even a little low. When I return to San Giovanni Rotondo, it will be one of my stops. Lunch only available for takeout, in convenient containers, with forks and everything you need; just ask.

13/11/2025: For my partner and I, it's a must-try, and we couldn't ask for anything better because we always get a guaranteed experience here. As regulars, we can say the quality is excellent, and you can tell they know what they're doing, starting with the stunning location right on the sea. The raw ham is marvelous, its absolute freshness evident in the aroma as soon as it arrives at the table, making us want to eat it in abundance. ​But we have to be honest and admit that the real reason we always come back is the pasta dishes. For us, they're truly the best in the world, cooked to perfection and with generous portions that are filling and delicious, with that true seafood flavor that has sadly been lost elsewhere. Even when the place is packed, service is quick and the waiters are alert. Michele is the soul of this place, always kind and helpful, making us feel at home and not just like numbers.

09/11/2025: I recommend Michele for his excellent first courses, always tasty and plentiful. He always manages to please every customer if he can. The appetizers and main courses are also very good, but you obviously have to choose wisely. The place is very welcoming and family-friendly, especially the part overlooking the sea. Service is attentive and fairly fast. Michele is a delightful and friendly person. I recommend him if you want to spend an evening by the sea.

11/11/2025: Beautiful inn, when you return it seems like you're walking right to the sea, beautiful, everything good. It's a shame, though, that there were 6 of us and one had to wait for his first course, while the rest of us had almost finished ours. It's a shame, otherwise everything was perfect.

29/09/2025: We were there two weeks ago. When I booked, I kindly asked if they'd give us a table on the first floor, with a sea view, and they accommodated me, even though it was a Sunday and we booked last minute. Excellent food and friendly service. I recommend this place.
