13/03/2026: The interior is cute, quite rustic, reminding me a bit of a tourist attraction inside an amusement park. The food is exceptional; I recommend the spaghetti all'assassina. I must say I noticed the high quality of the dishes, especially at the fairly reasonable prices. The service is a major flaw: they forgot our appetizers, misunderstood our order, didn't bring our drinks, and it took them five minutes to issue a bill. However, the overall quality is good; I'd gladly return.

11/04/2026: Surprisingly lovely and authentic. We were slightly out of season and struggled sometimes to find places open. This looked firmly shut but we tried the door and it was open. Everyone was in a back room - clearly frequented by locals which was lovely and the food was excellent

24/12/2025: I'm shocked, disappointed, and very, very bitter... two proseccos (no particular brand), a plate of raw fish (an oyster, a shrimp, and two scampi), plus two other small plates of various things (cold, by the way, including some fried food)... Basically, everything to share, nothing calculated for two! Total €70... basically two aperitifs for €35 per person, the cost of a dinner in a pinch... I understand it's Christmas Eve, but increasing the price like this is truly illegal... half an hour to be so bled... I don't think I'll be back, not even for a coffee, because I felt truly cheated, never mind Christmas wishes... What a disappointment...

16/11/2025: I go to this bar exclusively for the products which are of good quality especially the really good croissants, but unfortunately I have to give one star because it is not the first time it happens, I am referring to the waitress Alina who served me the croissants and then made me pay, a piece of advice, education and empathy are the basis of this job, I enter saying hello and I barely get a response, a desire to work equal to 0, and after having paid even worse, if you do not want to be in contact with people, you are asked to change jobs, because the image of the place depends on it, which I repeat is TRULY EXCELLENT

06/04/2026: We booked for Easter Monday without knowing it personally, we just knew the food was good and I must say honestly that there were six of us and everyone was satisfied!!! Good, quality food, plentiful and to finish the meal a delicious shortcrust pastry tart with cream and strawberries 😋😋... a very positive experience, we will definitely be back 👍👍

30/12/2025: I bought a wheel of focaccia from Bari, a wheel of focaccia with Taggiasca olives and capers, half a wheel of classic Apulian calzone with onions, and half a wheel of tomato and mozzarella calzone from this bakery. All for the modest sum of €38.75. I was in Barletta, not Milan. They recommended this place to me for the quality of their products, but the feedback was terrible. Except for the focaccia from Bari, the rest was nothing you couldn't find in any other bakery, certainly at a more reasonable price. The products were greasy with oil, but the terrible kind that leaves a sting in your throat with a bitterish taste (typical of pomace oil or similar). The calzone with sauce was old, the inside of the sauce was clearly solidified, typical of the next day, without any of the flavor and softness of the tomato and mozzarella of a calzone baked on the day of sale. These products were purchased at around 9:30 am. Another negative aspect during the sales service was that people other than the staff (dressed in civilian clothes) were coming in and out of the bread preparation and production area, demonstrating a lack of attention to hygiene rules, despite having a separate cash register for payment. I wouldn't go back.

18/12/2025: I came to this bakery/deli with my uncle for lunch during the week. I have to say it was a pleasant discovery, a simply fantastic deli. The focaccia barese was delicious, the parmigiana was excellent, and the vegetables were high-quality. The selection is wide and almost all the dishes look beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

24/03/2026: Beautiful location in the heart of Otranto's historic center. The service is excellent thanks to the highly trained, friendly, and helpful staff. The restaurant offers high-quality traditional dishes, thanks in part to the excellent work of the kitchen. I was there on Saturday for lunch and will definitely be back.

I booked for a Sunday with a set menu, sharing the menu, and after being assured that there were dairy-free dishes, I found myself, after a 40-minute wait, with a different menu with all dishes containing cheese and dairy products. The menu was unchangeable and lacked a list of allergens. The owner was rude, bordering on offensive. We obviously got up and left. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE WITH INTOLERANCES.

It's an experience that will stay in your heart (and on your palate)!" 😋 I should point out that the negative reviews I've read are due to the old management; the restaurant is now under new management, and the staff is absolutely up to par: friendly, kind, and they make you feel right at home, in addition to the excellent quality of the food and pizzas. 31/10/2025: We stopped by Sascianne for its reopening. We were welcomed by Giovanna and Claudio, two hosts worthy of the name. We ordered an appetizer and ravioli. We'd already won us over with the appetizer, but the lobster ravioli in shrimp ragù absolutely blew us away. Everything was exquisite and carefully prepared, but above all, light and flavorful. We finished with a Nutella panna cotta. In short, we'll definitely be returning to this little restaurant in a truly unique location.
