30/11/2025: Grandma Rosa moves me every time, because I feel like a child again when I accompanied Dad Nicola to the fishmonger's. I remember a kind of childlike happiness. Her joke was always the same: 'Only what you see'? This phrase was a sort of sesame seed! The fishmonger would go to the back and immediately display a crate with the best catch of the night. I smiled every time, happy and incredulous at the same time. I still wonder today what this statement could have evoked in the eyes of the owner?! I'm sitting here today at the Nonna Rosa restaurant in Muro Leccese. And I always ask myself the same thing. Why does this place bring back memories? Why? Perhaps it's Claudia's cheerful smile, reassuring and friendly? Or the simplicity of the dishes, anything but banal? The pervasive calm that prepares the palate? 12/10/2025: We didn't stay overnight, but we had two lovely dinners at the restaurant. The service was very attentive and super friendly. All four menus were delicious. We finished with an excellent limoncello and a delicious cake with divine mascarpone cream. We would gladly come back anytime.

04/01/2026: A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Bitonto. The first course, featuring cardoncello mushrooms (€20 for the dish, which raises expectations), was a sore point. The pasta, poorly combined with the sauce, immediately tasted strange. We reported the anomaly to the friendly wait staff and sent the dish back to the kitchen. We would have expected at least a brief apology from the chef when we received the bill, which we would have paid anyway. The "mangiaresano" (healthy eating) on ​​the Wi-Fi password should be changed to "mangiaresanosetivabene" (eatinghealthyandhealthy). Anyone who ate those two forkfuls of pasta before sending it back reported severe stomach pains. A bit disappointed.

02/01/2026: The Piccapane farmhouse made us feel at home this evening. We ate wonderfully, warmed by a stove. Every dish was delicious and prepared with attention to detail. At the end of the dinner, we had the opportunity to purchase some organic produce. In short, if you're looking for a welcoming, family-friendly place that offers quality food, then this is the place. 24/02/2026: One word: TOP!!! Definitely my favorite restaurant in Lecce, a very elegant and welcoming location, with attention to every detail. The staff is very professional, always attentive and ready to satisfy customers' requests. The food is extraordinary in quality and preparation. The raw ingredients are treated with skill and mastery by Chef Civilla. I personally love risotto, but whatever dish you choose, it will always be incredibly good. The fish, in all its preparations, is always fresh. A well-stocked and high-quality wine cellar completes this magical place. The prices are definitely above average, but if you're looking for average food, this isn't the place! EXCEPTIONAL and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

15/03/2026: Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, we ate wonderfully, featuring traditional products showcased exceptionally well. We also stayed overnight; the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable.

28/09/2025: Great dining under a beautifully lit tree in a courtyard. The pistachio crusted bream was the best of what we ordered. The beef was too chewy. I would post the tiramisu but it was quickly devoured.

22/02/2026: Good pizza, but having to get up right after the bill for our group, including some out-of-towners, was unpleasant. It was like saying, "You've eaten, well, you can go now." We didn't intend to sleep there. A bad experience for me! We were piled on top of each other; I didn't even have room to get up and go to the bathroom.

10/01/2026: We ordered a portion of fries and two pizzas. The pizzas were cold, and the fries tasted like bell peppers. The curly-haired girl, insistent on taking our orders quickly, was also rude. Furthermore, she sprayed disinfectant liberally to clean the adjacent tables, not caring about the smell or whether it would end up on the pizza; doing this not only to us but to all the surrounding tables.
