30/07/2025: Location molto carina, nel cuore di un paesino che sicuramente merita una visita. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile, anche molto simpatico! Piatti ben eseguiti e che rispecchiano ricette tradizionali, non è il classico ristorante turistico! Piatti abbondanti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Nient’altro da aggiungere, fateci un salto se volete passare una bella serata e mangiare bene!

10/02/2026: By far one of the worst experiences of my life! It baffles me that most of the reviews are great, given my experience. My wife and I walked in on a slow night before heading to the tower. There were only two other tables occupied, one already eating and the second waiting on their food. We ultimately waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out, which seemed rather long given it was very empty. The server was a young lady who treated us rather indifferently. I ordered the seafood SPAGHETTI, and when she brought the food over, the plate had Rigatoni instead. I immediately asked why the change, but she didn't speak English that well so she referred to me to the chef, so I stood up and went over to ask the Chef. He had a British accent and responded with a very rude attitude when I asked him why I had been served a different pasta than the one I ordered. His answer was that "people usually complain about the spaghetti getting all over them when they eat the seafood sauce, so they had decided to change the dish to have rigatoni instead, and they don't serve the spaghetti pasta anymore". Understandable, but still not fine really; if that was the case, the server should have at least informed us that so I could order something different. ( to this day it still shows as seafood spaghetti on their menu ) The meal was not very tasty overall, so that didn't offer up any consolation. When I asked the server for more napkins for both my wife and I (messy seafood sauce lol) she brought over ONE single napkin, which kinda made me a little mad, as it seemed like she was being stingy. We finally finished our meal and decided to leave. What happened next made me absolutely furious! AS SOON as we stepped outside, we see a young man sitting at one of the outdoor tables and GUESS what he's eating??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! He's eating the SAME SEAFOOD SPAGHETTI that I ordered WITH SPAGHETTI pasta!!! I got so pissed that for a second I considered going back inside and yelling at the Chef for being a hypocrite and on top of that having a bad attitude right off the bat, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I walked out of there so fast and went straight to the Tower but I seriously could not enjoy the moment because of what I had just experienced. I hope everyone that comes here actually has a pleasant experience but if there's something restaurants should do, is try to be consistent with all people at all times, not just when it's busy or when it's high tourist season. It's hard to put into words how I felt after eating here but I won't forget it. Buon appetito!

Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — once inside, you’ll find a beautiful, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The entire place has an incredibly charming and authentic feel. The staff was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The menu offers something for everyone, and the fresh homemade pasta was truly fantastic. You can taste the quality and care in every dish. We spent nearly two hours here waiting out the rain and felt completely comfortable the entire time. We were able to relax, enjoy our food and drinks, and never felt rushed for even a second. Whether you’re looking for a full lunch or dinner or just a cold drink in a welcoming atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

13/04/2026: I've had breakfast here a couple of times and have always had a great experience. They have a wide selection of pastries, croissants, cookies, donuts, and more. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious, including the hot chocolate. Highly recommended!

11/04/2026: I'd say the product quality is good. Unfortunately, the staff—not all of them, obviously—talk to their colleagues while they're listening to you, and obviously don't understand and respond in an unfriendly manner, even talking behind your back as you leave. I suggest keeping your voice low... I call it unprofessional. I just hope I'm having a bad day with this person.

11/11/2025: Beautiful inn, when you return it seems like you're walking right to the sea, beautiful, everything good. It's a shame, though, that there were 6 of us and one had to wait for his first course, while the rest of us had almost finished ours. It's a shame, otherwise everything was perfect.

29/09/2025: We were there two weeks ago. When I booked, I kindly asked if they'd give us a table on the first floor, with a sea view, and they accommodated me, even though it was a Sunday and we booked last minute. Excellent food and friendly service. I recommend this place.

30/10/2025: I found it a bit expensive and a little oily. Panino tomato tuna €9, café americano €3.50, perhaps because I had something similar yesterday in Lacco Ameno that was cheaper and tastier.

14/10/2025: We went there while strolling through the streets, the panini was very good, very crispy, the best. The service was good, two girls were at the bar very nice

12/07/2025: Un contesto di campagna piacevole, soprattutto di sera quando non si vedono gli ulivi morti. Un edificio di notevole impatto, con grande capacità suggestiva. La cucina è semplice, senza svolazzi, adatta a chi si adatta. Personale che va capito, prezzi fondamentalmente corretti.
