04/08/2025: The pizza isn't that good, but we ate there. There's a problem, though. Inside the restaurant, a family member of mine took 13.4 of radiation because we measured it with a Geiger counter. The next morning, my husband got a huge throat cancer, so the pizza wasn't that bad, but the restaurant could be improved.

17/07/2025: My husband and I ate there for lunch a few days ago and I have to say that the place is very nice and the food is good, but the prices are exaggerated for what we got.

15/06/2025: Being located in a mountain place you think you will find only meat-based dishes and instead no: I ordered a first and second course based on fish. The result? Exceptional, everything really excellent. The owner, Mr. Michele, an exquisite person as well as all the staff. Fair prices for the quality offered.

30/06/2025: Wonderful place in a very pleasant and relaxing environment, very good food and very kind and helpful staff, the rooms for overnight stays are very large in a quiet area 100 meters from the restaurant, overlooking the garden, possibility of visiting animals, in the back that looks towards the hills. Excellent value for money. Recommended 100%

26/08/2025: A detour to enjoy excellent pizza and shrimp-filled ravioli with amberjack tartare. The house-produced rosé wine is excellent. For dessert, a pasticciotto with Salento-style coffee. All at a super reasonable price considering the wonderful setting we ate in. Next time, I'll be even more hungry to try other local dishes.

26/08/2025: An exceptional Italian restaurant! 🍕🍝 I go back every year and it's always a real pleasure. The portions are generous, the quality of the dishes is impeccable, and the service is always warm and attentive. A sure bet for enjoying authentic Italian cuisine, prepared with fresh produce. I highly recommend it.

26/08/2025: What a disappointment! The 9 appetizers were actually only 5. The grilled fish was almost inedible (luckily the guests were foreigners, they didn't understand). If you serve mashed potatoes and fava beans, DON'T SELL IT AS FAVA FAVA PUREE, and then justify it by saying that's how you do it!!! In Puglia, we don't eat like that!!! Warning: the cuisine is only for foreigners/tourists.

26/08/2025: Dear Director of Taverna dei Domenicani, your response to my wife's review is exactly what I expected: arrogant. If a single mussel (and I mean a small one), two fried zucchini, and two breadcrumb balls (not meatballs) make up three courses... you're right. Besides, your response suggests you have nothing more to learn. YOU ARE PERFECT.

29/03/2025: Terrible service. Biblical expectations entered at 9.30pm, pizza received at 11.30pm. An abnormal amount of chips. I understand Saturday evenings but a much better organization would be needed compared to the previous management. Pizzas burnt all on the edges. I haven't been there since this summer but the problems are still there 🆘😪. I don't know, we'll see the bill soon 🤐🤐🤐

05/01/2025: We happened upon it by chance and also at the last moment but, we were welcomed and pampered until our departure, by Angelo (the owner) who showed us the beauties, the flavors and the history of his land. Splendid structure, convenient parking just outside the city but, we like it that way, excellent food in the restaurant/pizzeria with wood oven inside the structure, more comfortable than this 😋🤗

05/09/2025: We ate at this restaurant on our visit to Bari. A good choice. We had starters, a main course, and dessert. Everything we tried was very good. The waiter who served us was very friendly and professional.

19/08/2025: Believe me, the food is divine. That's the perfect way to describe it. Very professional and kind. I was very satisfied and lucky to find a table for two without a reservation on August 15th. An enchanting location on the seafront in Capitolo.

14/08/2025: The farmhouse is beautiful, as is the pool. Few amenities, and cleanliness could be improved. Excellent location.

12/08/2025: We stayed here for 6 days. It's a quiet and private place in a typical Salento farmhouse. The room was comfortable and cozy, the pool was just steps away, and it was well-kept and not crowded. Convenient on-site parking was available. The location was perfect as a base for a tour of Salento. Thank you, Carlo, for your support and availability.

18/08/2025: A charming place, nestled in the Massafra ravine. Impeccable service: carefully set tables, a professional and ever-present manager, friendly and prompt waiters, and cleaning staff always ready to intervene when needed. The restaurant also offers a complimentary cake-making service and a place to change or breastfeed babies. The menu is in line with the local average. Personally, I found the meat-based appetizers better than the seafood ones. The agnolotti were divine, and the desserts were truly delicious.

06/09/2025: We booked a day in advance and got a nice table outside. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. My wife is coeliac so they presented her with a gluten free menu (which was almost the same as the main menu). Worth a visit if you are in Lecce. Perhaps book in advance if you can!

06/09/2025: Very expensive and scarce. Dry bread. Good food. We felt ripped off.

22/08/2025: I wasn't thrilled with the dishes, they weren't of high quality, the fried food was served soaked in oil and soggy, not at all satisfied.

21/08/2025: We all ate well, the fish was good, the pasta dishes were well-prepared, and some were unique and tasted very good. The service was generally good, the girls were very kind and helpful. The only flaw was the rude waiter, who seemed pissed off because they'd mistakenly brought us an extra dish (at the counter they confirmed that the mistake was made in the kitchen, not when we ordered). He got annoyed and started asking, "So, what did you order?" Aside from that little incident, the service was excellent and the location was beautiful; we practically ate by the sea.

15/08/2025: A small tavern in the heart of Melpignano's historic center. Traditional cuisine that takes you back in time and lets you savor typical Salento dishes. Friendly and helpful staff.

18/07/2025: Small restaurant in the center of Melpignano. Good food (especially the fried appetizer and the "massa con i ceci"), fast and attentive service, and a good price.

29/07/2025: Beautiful place, with an enchanting view.....the service is also good....but too expensive.....it's true that everything is increasing, but salaries and pensions remain the same....I think they're exaggerating a bit everywhere.....and then we're not complaining if there's little tourism this year

09/09/2025: The feeling is that of sitting on a stage, between the Castle and the church, evocative, romantic. Zero-cost products, grown in the backyard, with love and passion. And cooked with equal mastery. A home kitchen, the home of our memories, of childhood, of our grandparents. A cuisine that communicates love and sweetness. An experience to be relived and relived again.

24/08/2025: The experience was anything but positive: the owner regarded the customers with a condescending attitude and an inexplicable air of superiority, despite the dishes being absolutely disappointing, from start to finish. The dishes were meager and tasteless, far from expectations. Furthermore, some of the restaurant's imposed policies—such as the lack of common drinks (no Coke, wine, or other non-local foods)—seemed more like an ideological stance than a real added value to the dining experience. Never ask for a carrot or a salad: they'll greet you with a look somewhere between shocked and offended, as if you'd just asked for the impossible! The only positive note was the splendor of Felline's piazza and the aroma of the dishes served by the adjacent restaurants.
