11/11/2025: A fantastic experience for San Martino! 💫 I went to this restaurant to celebrate San Martino, and I must say it was a truly special experience! The food is all typically Salento, prepared with genuine ingredients and with that authentic flavor that makes you feel at home. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was carefully prepared, rich and plentiful, a true celebration of flavors and tradition. The local wines were also excellent, perfect to accompany the dishes. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, always welcoming, kind, and attentive, and to Timo, the chef, whose skill brings the soul of Salento cuisine to the table. A warm and convivial place, ideal for an evening with friends or family. Highly recommended for those who want an authentic experience and enjoy true Salento cuisine, characterized by abundance, quality, and conviviality! 🍷🍇✨

05/11/2025: Last week, I went to dinner with some friends. It's hard for me to return to this place. The welcome was very pleasant and different from usual. The new autumn pizza was the best (cream of pumpkin, scamorza, and pancetta, delicate and crispy dough with red cabbage) along with the cabbage salad as an entree, really not bad. Once we were seated and chose our beverage (the wine selection is very respectable, even though I rarely toast anymore), the classic pittule to break the wait for the main courses: ravioli del plin with stew, fish in a salt crust, pecorino cheese with tomato sauce, seasonal vegetables cooked in every way. Dessert and coffee to finish. Everything was sooooo good. The bill was very fair. The staff was friendly. Thank you, and see you next time. PS: I'm not attaching photos of the dishes because my hands and cutlery were busy with the courses and, if necessary, sharing the dishes. 😋😋😋

03/11/2025: Piccolo Paradiso da Mario's Restaurant, Peschici: Enchanting Views and Welcoming Service The unparalleled highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Peschici Bay, which makes every dinner, especially at sunset, a charming and romantic experience. The atmosphere is simple and informal. The menu offers cuisine focused on fresh seafood and the flavors of the Gargano. We particularly enjoyed the carefully prepared pasta dishes and grilled fish and meat. The pizzeria is also a good option. Special praise goes to the service: the team was friendly, courteous, and helpful with all guests, helping to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Those planning to reach the restaurant by car should be aware that, especially in high season, parking in the immediate vicinity can be extremely difficult. We recommend planning your arrival well in advance.

29/10/2025: In Peschici the last week of August, looking for a nice place for dinner on our last night, trusting the reviews we chose this restaurant. The room with a table with a spectacular view of the bay, 5 stars for sure. The service was poor (we ordered 1 liter of sparkling white wine... we received still white wine... we first pointed it out to one waitress and nothing... then to the other and nothing... then she came back to tell us they had that! Fine... but maybe they should have mentioned it when we ordered it, right?). The fact of seeing the fireplace outside the room, where they cook the fish, had raised good expectations... which however were not met. Good flavors, but nothing special. Portions: for the first courses (spaghetti with clams) ok... for the second courses (prawns, mixed grill, mixed fried fish) we have found better in other places. It's a shame because for the location it's worth it. For 4 people (1 starter, 2 first courses, 3 second courses, 1 litre of wine, 1 water and 2 cokes) we paid €142.00 including 4 place settings at €2.50 each.

11/11/2025: The food is really good. Excellent quality!!! They invited me to lunch to celebrate a colleague's swearing-in ceremony, and I was speechless. I'll be back.

15/11/2025: Let's start with the assumption that, okay, if you have fish for dinner, the price goes up. Well, first of all, octopus salad, a small bowl. Two fried octopuses that looked boiled, and a fried dish whose batter stuck to the plate...usually crispy, no, this one was soggy. We didn't have time to leave the restaurant before they closed; they were basically waiting for us. They were already home, thinking about it and wearing their pajamas. Overall, my love story was coming to an end because of the soggy fried dish. For two, €150 seems rather excessive. P.S.: the love story is still going strong. Best regards

12/11/2025: A small gem overlooking the sea, where the sea is also present inside, in all its dishes prepared with care, skill, and passion. A breathtaking terrace, attentive and friendly service, and tasty and rigorously fresh dishes make it a must-try for those who want to spend a special moment or enjoy an excellent meal without breaking the bank (€104 for 2 with an excellent bottle of wine recommended, raw and cooked seafood appetizers, 2 first courses, and a mixed fried fish to share, coffee, and liqueurs). People who take pride in what they bring to your table make it a sure thing. Enjoy this experience. Reservations recommended, especially in high season. A must-try.

19/10/2025: If you love pizza with thin, crispy, and above all light crust, you've come to the right place. They offer a wide variety of choices, and the ingredients are excellent. The service is quick; even if you order an appetizer, they don't crowd you out by three or four tables like others do. The timing is perfect, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, as is the owner, who, in addition to being a pizza chef, is also very personable. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: The owner pretends to be friendly, it's a typical foreign tourist spot, the fish is frozen, I don't recommend the appetizer recommended by the owner or the waiters; for me, it's an insult to Italian and Salento cuisine, and Neapolitan neomelodic music is played throughout the meal. The owner slammed me for not being a football fan. Absolutely not recommended.

14/08/2025: The farmhouse is beautiful, as is the pool. Few amenities, and cleanliness could be improved. Excellent location.

12/08/2025: We stayed here for 6 days. It's a quiet and private place in a typical Salento farmhouse. The room was comfortable and cozy, the pool was just steps away, and it was well-kept and not crowded. Convenient on-site parking was available. The location was perfect as a base for a tour of Salento. Thank you, Carlo, for your support and availability.

16/09/2025: A beautiful terrace at the foot of the sea with a pleasant view. The fish and seafood dishes are fresh and well-prepared...and very generous. The service is fast. A great place to enjoy Sant'Isodoro beach and its natural swimming pool.

17/11/2025: I've been going to this place for over 20 years. But today I think I've really hit rock bottom: after ordering a Tomahawk Steak, I see something arrive at my table (after over 45 minutes... but that's understandable, despite the place being very sparsely crowded), something that could have been anything but a Tomahawk (which I've had a thousand times in the past): completely cold, full of sinew (not even the waiter managed to cut it properly, making it all fall apart), and inedible because it's so "sinewy," when it should be "butter"!! The grilled vegetables (good anyway), as a side, arrived much later than the meat!!! What can I say? I repeat: I had such a high opinion of this place, that I think this is the last time I set foot there!!!

31/08/2025: Very nice and simple place... the pizza and fried foods are very good... the service could be improved, as not all the waiters pay attention to the tables and it's difficult to get their attention without calling them. I recommend checking the beverage refrigerators, as I received warm beer and, to my disappointment, was told that they were all at that temperature without even changing it... what a shame. Anyway, I want to give you my trust and I'll be back from time to time...

10/11/2025: We celebrated my daughter's birthday on Saturday, November 8th, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. As a florist had anticipated, "Daniela is a great hostess." Very good pizza. Fast and friendly service (something that isn't always the case at other places on a Saturday night). Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: Excellent welcome. We had dinner on the terrace, it was truly delightful. The antipatio was very good. The pizzas are excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant, dining among the locals. A special treat for us. Thank you for this wonderful time to the entire team at Casa Lacorte.
