04/09/2024: Having recently returned after years to this THIEVES restaurant, I am happy to correct my review... there were 3 of us a few evenings ago (let it be clear that I only went there because I wasn't paying... 😂😂) mixed starters of which only one plate of raw and the rest cooked, second course a sea bream which we divided into three with grilled vegetables, a bottle of calafuria rosé and 3 bitters (without first course) 110 euros each!! Although the quality of the fish is excellent, it is simply a legalized theft.. avoid it, there are other excellent restaurants in the area where you can eat the same things at half the price.. they have changed management but apparently the exaggerated prices do not change. I can only understand prices like that in a place like Grotta Palazzese where you also pay for the location

We had the pleasure of celebrating the birthday of a dear friend of ours. the service was excellent, not only in managing a table of 14 people but also in organizing the bouquet and cake. 30/08/2024: Iconic restaurant in Gallipoli But today he disappointed me Having ordered my favorite dish, the mussel parcel arrived lukewarm, almost cold, and in the mussels there were abundant lumps of raw breadcrumbs not mixed with the cheese sauce When pointed out to the waiter in the presence of the owner, there was no apology and no mention of replacing the dish They said it was the chef's fault but you couldn't tell him otherwise he wouldn't have cooked for a week! Sin ! Therefore it remains a trattoria with a beautiful location whose goodness of the cuisine depends on the mood of the chef!

16/08/2024: An enchanted garden with a beautiful atmosphere, ideal for a dinner and therefore a perfect environment, helpful staff who take care of even the most demanding customers. Two excellent first courses: tagliolini with super seafood and linguine with perfect clams. The possibility of taking the 375ml bottle of wine is good, but it is clear that everything must be paid dearly.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una serata meravigliosa. Per quanto avessimo letto alcune recensioni non lusinghiere, abbiamo deciso di trascorrere presso questo ristorante la sera del nostro anniversario. Il ristorante è piccolo e molto affascinante, soprattutto se - come nel nostro caso - si cena a uno dei tavolini sulla terrazza a picco sul mare: al tramonto, lo spettacolo è stupendo; col buio, pur non riuscendosi a vedere il mare (non vi è illuminazione verso il basso), si continua a sentire il rumore delle onde. Abbiamo optato per un menù con piatti a scelta dello chef (il ristorante propone solo due menù: uno a sorpresa e uno con piatti predefiniti; non vi è invece la possibilità di cena alla carta). La cena è stata davvero ottima. Piatti vari, non necessariamente particolarmente elaborati, ma mai scontati (e sempre decisamente buoni). Personale di sala molto cordiale e presente. Lo chef è amichevole e fa ben trasparire la propria passione.

24/08/2024: Going here is not going to a simple dinner but living an experience of pleasure for the eyes and the palate. The view of the tables overlooking the sea is extraordinary. The journey that the chef offers with his seven creations is extraordinary. The welcome and attention to detail of Mrs. Annalisa and her staff were extraordinary. Heartfelt congratulations.

10/07/2024: Overrated. Suggestive place for its atmosphere but after 1 hour of being there you realize that it's all fake and you want to escape. Food with absolutely no flavour: the greasy mixed fried food with sage that tasted like nothing, bowls completely without salt, courgette pie, ditto. The only very good thing is the pasta with meatballs for children. Attentive service and really friendly staff.
