15/06/2025: Nothing special... I thought in a place that would excite me more given the characteristic decor. I find it absurd to pay €3.50 for a cold espresso, with absolutely not quality cream. Espresso with coffee quite bitter to my palate. I remind the manager that we are simply in Trani and not in Capri, and what's more without a sea view!

It's a shame, however, that of the two Gallipoli oysters we had—very good—one was practically empty (given the cost and weight, I wouldn't have served it), and that the cuttlefish and fried fish included in the appetizer were at times rubbery. The lobster bavette was commendable. They could have done better. Overall, a pleasant evening, but I wouldn't repeat it.

14/09/2025: I ordered spaghetti and a carbonara. I realized one thing: I'm in the wrong place and that the chef doesn't like what he does. Spaghetti with mussels was left out because it was plain pasta floating in oil. Carbonara with pancetta, parmesan, whole egg, and cooked sautéed meat. Anyone with even a basic understanding of cooking couldn't make such a mess. I have nothing else to add, and I won't waste time reading any responses to this review unless they have the courage and willingness to challenge themselves to improve and say that, objectively, the food is crap. Oh... I forgot. I pointed out to the waiter that two mice were passing by the tables and that it would be a good idea to set traps. His response? Yes, I noticed a few days ago. And if you noticed, why didn't you do anything? At least make fun of me and pretend to take my advice, because in the end, my observation was one I knew perfectly well wasn't their responsibility. Honest? Looking at the 5-star reviews, I realize that people absolutely don't know how to eat and that their wives cook worse than these people, otherwise it's inexplicable. From buenavista to stative bueni is a moment's notice!

30/06/2025: El restaurante está situado justo enfrente del castillo en el casco antiguo de Otranto. El comedor interior es un poco estrecho, así que optamos por el Wintergarden, que ofrece un poco más de espacio. La comida está muy bien presentada y muy imaginativa. Comenzamos con anchoas adobadas servidas con achicoria y mermelada de naranja, una combinación inusual que funciona sorprendentemente bien. A continuación, tuvimos los espaguetis de erizo de mar, que era excepcional. El servicio fue impecable. Es un lugar muy conocido entre los lugareños, así que si estás planeando una visita, asegúrate de hacer una reserva, especialmente por la noche. Los precios son más altos, pero los ingredientes son increíblemente frescos y los platos absolutamente deliciosos.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente poco confortevole ,e siamo stati un po’ isolati dalla cameriera .Sembrava quasi che la nostra presenza non era gradita .A chiudere la cena si è presentato uno grosso scarafaggio proveniente dal soffitto che girava intorno al tavolo. Il personale sembra abituato forse a scene come queste ,hanno schiacciato l’insetto e raccolto . Tutto è tornato nella normalità ,ma noi siamo andati via un po’ infastiditi ,tutto può accadere ma almeno ci aspettavamo le scuse .Sicuramente non ci torneremo. Qualità del cibo discreta per il prezzo pagato.

10/06/2025: absolut empfehlenswert. sehr guter service und überragende küche, nicht zu vergessen die erlesene weinkarte! reservierung ist empfehlenswert oder einfach früher kommen. im juni ist das für paare noch unkompliziert. der patron hat alles im griff.

We sat outside, where we could enjoy the splendid seaside setting that perfectly frames the restaurant, and I can honestly say I enjoyed one of the best dinners ever! Excellent ingredients and truly exquisite dishes, and, last but not least, truly unexpected service, accompanied by such helpfulness and kindness. A truly unique place. A birthday I'll never forget.

21/08/2025: What a place, the taste of the food gorgeous, the staff so friendly and helpful not to mention that each eye contact with them someone will come to you and ask if they can help, the location can’t be better so nice place in the old city just can’t miss it, the home wine - can’t really explain with words, food, love, relax and repeat… this is the perfect place to eat. Try the canolas as well….

20/05/2025: It is a good pizzeria with a truly excellent pizza in the variant made with whole wheat flour dough. Light dough, crumbly, crispy crust with the scent of bread, perfect cooking, top quality seasoning ingredients starting from the fruity and low-acidity extra virgin olive oil.
