20/10/2025: Very nice hotel. Beautiful surroundings. The hotel has a large outdoor pool. Breakfast is good. I recommend it!

18/10/2025: Is it beautiful? Yes. Is it clean? Yes. Is the staff friendly and competent? Yes. BUT the devil is in the details - and being a 4 star hotel is about details. We were on the third floor and the wifi was just terrible. Kept dropping and reconnecting. This is not acceptable in 2025 in a Mercure. Moreover - how is it possible for all the paintings not to hang correctly off the walls? The shower was spacious, with great water pressure - but the glass pane has water traces that are not wiped off daily. The breakfast buffet has a great selection... But the cornetti offered were pitiful and the cappuccinos we were served were very poor given the fact this is an Italian hotel. Conclusion: If you want a nice, clean, restful place to sleep in in a beautiful setting, the Mercure is for you. But they need to work on getting everything right, and not just the big picture.

31/07/2025: Very good food. The owner was very attentive and friendly. He opened the kitchen for us even though it was already closed and served us very kindly. We also had a private concert. It was great!

05/10/2025: Pretty neat ristorante offering plenty of seafood options. Everything we had was very good, I can only recommend this place. Professional waiters, tables perfectly laid with tablecloths, a nice atmosphere and good food, you should give it a try if you're in Santa Maria al Bagno, especially if you are a seafood enthusiast!

03/10/2025: If the fresh orecchiette still tastes half-raw and doughy, and the server repeatedly asks and apologizes, you'd expect the dish to be left out of the bill, or only at a reduced price, or to be offered a free espresso. But everything was billed at full price. What a shame! Otherwise, everything was fine.

11/10/2025: This was an odd experience. Most importantly, the food is delicious, wonderful in fact. Exactly what I wanted - a taste of Lecce. We started with the fiori di zucca fritti and a sample of olive oil toasts. I had the Sagne Nnannulate with the tomato sauce with horse meat, lovely balance of richness and savory tomato flavor. My wife enjoyed the Ciceri e tria pasta, also wonderful. We paired it with a nice rose wine. Where I felt bothered was how we were treated. This is my 10th trip to Italy, so I know the customs and embrace them fully. I am not fluent but speak Italian decently for a tourist. We were dressed as well as anyone who showed up. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened at 8pm. There was a large tour group eating inside. However we were told we could only eat outside. OK, I understand it's Saturday night maybe there were many reservations so we took seats outside. But it was evident that we were not welcome for whatever reason. We could tell from the conversations as people rang the bell to enter, half of the people who arrived afterwards didn't have reservations. I speak well enough to understand the language of the restaurant. YET NO ONE ELSE WAS MADE TO SIT OUTSIDE. Each time the door opened, we hear people inside enjoying themselves and we were alone outside. While food service was OK, in my many visits to Italy this was the first time I was made to feel like a stranger. Made more apparent every time the front door closed. To reiterate, the food is wonderful. The inside atmosphere and decor, from what we could see through the windows like beggars, is charming. We just didn't feel welcome. We skipped dessert downed a coffee, paid and left. We felt welcome in Bari for 3 nights but Lecce was not welcoming this night. Dumb luck I guess.

14/08/2025: Welcoming place, helpful, polite, and attentive staff. Fresh, high-quality products. We went for dinner; the place was packed, but we managed to find seats for four despite short notice. The kids ordered pizza, while we adults ordered a mixed antipasto and a mixed grill of meats. I personally didn't try the pizza, which my companions (husband and children) said was delicious. I ordered a mixed antipasto made up of various high-quality products, in an extremely generous portion. I don't know who supplies the ricotta, but I've rarely tasted it this good. The mixed antipasto also includes lampascioni (wild onions): try them! Highly recommended.

11/08/2025: A very nice restaurant just steps from the historic center of Mesagne, where every time I'm there, I have to go for dinner. I've never been disappointed; the dishes are prepared with great care, are plentiful, delicious, and at great prices. From appetizers to dessert 👍! Kudos to the chef and all the staff for their kindness. I recommend them to everyone.

23/08/2025: The rooms lack a little modernity but they are very very very clean. For everything else, nothing to say, it's perfect. The team is very friendly and helpful. If you like peace and quiet and have a car, it's the ideal place to spend a pleasant stay, whether you are a couple (like us) or with children and/or pets, it's very secure. 30/09/2025: The bill... A rip-off. Over 20 euros for a first course. We went for a second course at another place that also serves fish. You don't even spend that much in Munich. Then they complain about not finding staff.

25/08/2025: My family and I decided to have dinner one evening. Ridiculous portions...a paltry grilled meat and ridiculous side dishes (two tiny slices of zucchini and two of eggplant). Very mediocre for a total of €64 for 4 people. Avoid, go elsewhere.

19/08/2025: Terrible experience. Ordered 1 mixed roast (very poor), 1 roasted bombette (raw), 1 mixed appetizer in mini pebbles, 1 first course (5 gnocchi), and grilled Erudire (five mini zucchini slices and three eggplant slices). The quality/price ratio was absolutely inadequate. Avoid.

28/09/2025: We had pizza there once and sea bream once. Both were delicious and nicely prepared. The owner speaks German quite well. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant.

29/09/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to Vinha' Restaurant. The hospitality and family management are excellent, the wine selection is excellent, the ingredients and vegetables come from their farm... everything is delicious... first courses, vegetables, and fish. I highly recommend it!

28/09/2025: There were two of us and we each had a primo, followed by homemade ice cream. With wine and water, we paid around €35. The ambiance is very nice, and the service is friendly and quick. I definitely recommend it!

28/09/2025: Authentic trattoria in Trani where you can savor veal, pork, horsemeat, and lamb. Authentic grills with an open fire. Apulian bombette and Apulian arrosticini, all rigorously cooked over a charcoal fire. Fairly priced, below average. Fast and friendly service.

20/09/2025: It was very thoughtful, they customised the food to our needs. The chef, the waiter and the dog were lovely. His mothers limoncello is amazing and you can really feel the love!
