I was looking for a place to eat in Lecce and was recommended this place, and I had a wonderful meal! 🥰 I had the Chef's reinterpreted Carbonara and some delicious pork ribs with a side of potatoes. 😋 Manuela and her staff will do the rest with their hospitality! ❤️ I won't say any more; the photos will speak for themselves!

18/12/2025: Definitely not recommended. I'll share my experience. At dinner with friends, the waiter dropped the dirty plates and silverware, dropping them down my back and landing between my shoulders and the back of the chair where my jacket was resting. The poor guy, to whom I owe my deepest sympathy, is mortified and unable to find words to express his despair. He reports the incident to the owners, offers to pay for my laundry, and I undress and hand over my sweater and jacket for a laundering attempt, keeping only my (stained) shirt out of modesty and respect for the other diners. At the end of the evening, after I'd duly paid my bill, the owner returned my jacket (which, being waterproof, had been washed as best as possible, but still had small stains) and offered to take my sweater to the dry cleaners. I pointed out that I don't live in that town, and that it would be expensive and tiring to drive back to my hometown, 20 kilometers away, only to return a few days later to pick up the sweater. So I took the sweater back and asked to be reimbursed for the laundry costs only. With a disarming smile, she replied that, next time, they'd certainly reimburse me for the laundry costs, and that I'd return after I'd washed and cleaned everything. There won't be a next time, obviously. I certainly didn't expect them to deduct my fee after presenting me with a bill of €700 (there were 14 of us, so €50 each) and perhaps apologize for the involuntary accident; that would have been a nice gesture. We, being decent people, paid the requested €700, without any discounts. But what makes the difference between professional and disrespectful behavior is that they didn't even dream of not only apologizing, but of simply refunding €17 (SEVENTEEN EUROS), that is, the cost of a luxury laundry for a jacket and a sweater! In return, they charge, as mentioned, €50 for appetizers and a main course of seafood for four people (fresh), cavatelli with seafood and shrimp (frozen), a forkful of assassina, drinks, and dessert. Never again.

03/01/2026: When in a tourist town like Alberobello, you're hoping to get away from the center to find an authentic, traditional restaurant with fair prices. This is the place. We found the Trattoria by chance at New Year's Eve, trying to get away from the center, and it was a huge surprise: top-quality food, a warm welcome and lovely staff, and BEAUTIFUL decor and interiors! We can't recommend this amazing trattoria enough. Congratulations on your work! See you soon!

The quality of the fish and ingredients is top-notch (the wine selection is also excellent). The staff is truly exceptional: professional, friendly, and extremely attentive to treating each customer with the utmost care. In short, a place where passion and authenticity meet good food is a place I highly recommend (not just for the sushi, but also for the Italian menu). Le portate sono state tutte eccellenti, senza pecca e presentate ad alto livello, il sapere é una reale emozione. 12/12/2025: Lunch for two on December 8th. I found this place and trusted the reviews as well as the photos, which were truly inviting. A very quaint trattoria, friendly staff, and excellent food. I would definitely return to try other dishes. There are several specials of the day off the menu (I would perhaps suggest a digital menu with a dynamic QR code for the more tech-savvy). Prices are absolutely average. I recommend it.

01/03/2026: This restaurant is a must-visit when we visit Polignano. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the location is stunning, and the service is impeccable. We always feel pleasantly spoiled by the staff. We were there yesterday for lunch and ordered two appetizers, which included various seafood specialties, and two first courses: Troccoli with red shrimp and artichokes and Paccheri with oysters and sea urchin pulp. We enjoyed everything.

14/09/2025: We arrived in Puglia yesterday and were hungry. Restaurants here naturally open later than in Germany. Calogero opens as early as 7:00 PM, and the reviews were very good. Absolutely right. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation. If you're looking for a sea view, you've obviously come to the wrong place. But the food is excellent. We had Scottish beef tagliata, grilled and fried vegetables, a pizza, wine, water, a sorbet, and espressos. All of the finest quality. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. Of course, there was also water for our dog. We will definitely visit the restaurant again. Many thanks to the whole team. Continued success. 01/09/2025: I spent a delightful evening with friends at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and above all, we were treated very courteously, attentively, and pleasantly by the tall, black-haired waiter.

02/03/2026: I discovered Osteria del Seminario by chance, and it was truly a pleasant surprise. The setting is welcoming and refined, with a relaxing and never-overly-loud atmosphere, thanks in part to the clever decision to limit seating. This allows for a quieter dinner experience and ensures more attentive service. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. The raw seafood was simply exquisite, as was the trio of cooked fish. The first courses were also excellent, prepared with balance and flavor. The quality is evident in every course, thanks in part to a varied menu without overwhelming the selection: a choice that clearly emphasizes freshness and meticulous attention to detail. The service was quite prompt, and the waiters were very friendly and professional. The value for money was also excellent: we spent €40 each for two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, two glasses of wine, and a complimentary house liqueur. A restaurant I highly recommend and will gladly return to!
