08/06/2025: We stayed at the Masseria for a week. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Giulia and Ferdinando are warm and attentive hosts. The room was clean and quiet. A highlight was the food. The breakfast was delicious; nothing was missing. We also ate dinner there every day. It was delicious and always fresh and locally sourced. A wonderful stay! Highly recommended.

04/05/2025: È appena terminato il nostro soggiorno alla Masseria Lacco e non posso non recensire più che positivamente la nostra breve vacanza ospiti di questa fantastica Masseria. La location, il cibo, l'accoglienza sempre gioiosa dei proprietari e, soprattutto, il grande amore per gli animali. Una menzione a parte merita il gustosissimo pasticciotto della signora Giulia! Noi ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Da tornare assolutamente e da consigliare a chi vuole passare una vacanza da ricordare.

06/11/2025: We booked at this restaurant listed as a fresh fish restaurant so we had very high expectations but that was not the case. We had cooked seafood appetizers but really small portions with not top quality products at the price of €18 per person, as a first course their flagship risotto, hard and rubbery rice with non-existent ingredients and with a lake of cream that tasted like the risottos prepared by Knorr memories of youth cost €16, as a second course a half slice of swordfish with a tasteless and hard to eat flavor passed off as fresh but I have serious doubts at the cost of €16. Total cost €103 this is not the right way to do catering but making fun of people at least those who know about fresh fish.

03/11/2025: My husband and I went to this restaurant with very high expectations, but that wasn't the case. What we were served seemed to be made with low-quality ingredients. The appetizers were paltry and overpriced for what was served (€18 per person). The risotto was inedible, rubbery rice full of cream and nonexistent, low-quality ingredients. The half-slice of swordfish was tasteless and tough, typical of frozen fish. This restaurant advertises itself as a fresh seafood restaurant, but that wasn't the case. Only the waiter understood the inconvenience and tried to remedy the situation, but it was too late.

25/11/2025: The food was excellent, and the ambiance was meticulously maintained. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow.

23/11/2025: This morning I woke up craving true Apulian comfort food: orecchiette with ragù. Not having four hours to spare for a homemade dish, I started looking for nearby restaurants. And I decided on Cortiletto. When we booked, they correctly informed us that the table was in the courtyard and not inside. It's a good thing, because the courtyard is well-protected and decidedly more comfortable than the inside, further enhanced by Lea, our wonderful house cat. The restaurant is meticulously maintained and extremely pleasant. The service, despite the Sunday crowds, was prompt, courteous, and impeccable. The cuisine, perhaps too focused on the lavish appetizers that all trattorias require on a Sunday in Puglia, could use a little more focus and attention on the main courses.

15/09/2025: Excellent food, large portions, and a wide selection! We grabbed a quick lunch, being passing through, and were very satisfied.

27/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance during our vacation in Manfredonia and it was a pleasant discovery: great prices and good food. I absolutely recommend the meatballs. We also had the baked pasta and lasagna and were completely satisfied. When we return to Manfredonia, we'll definitely stop by again for takeout.

08/12/2025: Everything was perfect, a historic Bari restaurant where the food is truly delicious. The motto, "You'll be our friends first, then our customers," is truly upheld. I highly recommend it.

02/10/2025: I was at this osteria in August. The food was very good. I thought it was a real gem and returned in September with friends. Unfortunately, the gem turned out to be a poor imitation. It's a real shame and a huge disappointment because the place is very nice and has its own unique atmosphere. The dishes I ordered were simply not good, and I'm wondering if this was a fluke or a rule. Nevertheless, I don't recommend this place because it might disappoint, as it did for me.

18/12/2025: Definitely not recommended. I'll share my experience. At dinner with friends, the waiter dropped the dirty plates and silverware, dropping them down my back and landing between my shoulders and the back of the chair where my jacket was resting. The poor guy, to whom I owe my deepest sympathy, is mortified and unable to find words to express his despair. He reports the incident to the owners, offers to pay for my laundry, and I undress and hand over my sweater and jacket for a laundering attempt, keeping only my (stained) shirt out of modesty and respect for the other diners. At the end of the evening, after I'd duly paid my bill, the owner returned my jacket (which, being waterproof, had been washed as best as possible, but still had small stains) and offered to take my sweater to the dry cleaners. I pointed out that I don't live in that town, and that it would be expensive and tiring to drive back to my hometown, 20 kilometers away, only to return a few days later to pick up the sweater. So I took the sweater back and asked to be reimbursed for the laundry costs only. With a disarming smile, she replied that, next time, they'd certainly reimburse me for the laundry costs, and that I'd return after I'd washed and cleaned everything. There won't be a next time, obviously. I certainly didn't expect them to deduct my fee after presenting me with a bill of €700 (there were 14 of us, so €50 each) and perhaps apologize for the involuntary accident; that would have been a nice gesture. We, being decent people, paid the requested €700, without any discounts. But what makes the difference between professional and disrespectful behavior is that they didn't even dream of not only apologizing, but of simply refunding €17 (SEVENTEEN EUROS), that is, the cost of a luxury laundry for a jacket and a sweater! In return, they charge, as mentioned, €50 for appetizers and a main course of seafood for four people (fresh), cavatelli with seafood and shrimp (frozen), a forkful of assassina, drinks, and dessert. Never again.

09/11/2025: Everything was really good, definitely worth returning. The only negative was the raw seafood. 4 scampi 4 red prawns 4 walnuts 4 oysters Tagliatelle €80 is definitely disproportionate.

23/11/2025: I celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday in this reception hall. The welcome was warm and, above all, professional from the very beginning. Marilyn provided impeccable advice on every aspect of the party. Throughout the evening, both she and Ilenia were there to meet our needs and requests. The food was excellent in both quality and quantity, with elegant presentations: the seafood appetizer (recommended by them) was both stunning and delicious. The venue was clean. The well-kept garden was a perfect location for a wonderful photoshoot: the cake cutting took place outside with the fountain in the background. Highly recommended, especially for the truly satisfying quality/price ratio.
