15/03/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars simply because I can't give it more! The food is truly delicious, the first courses are amazing! There were 4 of us and we had the opportunity to try different courses, from appetizers to first and second courses, both seafood and meat, everything was top-quality and with attention to every detail! The service was attentive and attentive!! Well done and compliments to all the staff 💯

12/03/2026: Excellent restaurant in Turin offering a wide selection of carefully prepared and delicious dishes. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. The fish is definitely the highlight, but the meat dishes are also very good. The only flaw is the quality/price ratio.

08/03/2026: Well this was quite lovely. On looking for somewhere to eat on our first night in town, we walked in on the off chance and struck lucky. Food was excellent and although the wine choice is amazingly long, we stuck to the house wine, which was very good. Very smart inside and good attentive service. Definitely very good quality food.

07/03/2026: We visited from the UK a couple of days ago, and chose this restaurant when out sightseeing for it's quirky menu options. I had salmon and swapped the lentils for ratatouille and my husband had the Zebra!!! The service was brilliant, one waiter spoke perfect English and explained the menu well. The food was cooked well and delicious. Thanks for a great experience.

18/03/2026: Wide selection, courtesy, goodness! The Calabrian potatoes are not to be missed, excellent skewered cotto cotto. Vitello tonnato is large and delicious; raw meat salad is a joke, not so much. Great pizza, pasta, in short. The waiters take everything away and are a bit chaotic but kind! Wide selection of desserts (unique homemade tiramisu, not the cheesecake even if it's impressive, excellent coconut cake with hazelnut essence). Delicious bread and breadsticks, and wine by the glass (a glass of Barbera or Sauvignon), Amaro Sansimone, and Limoncello are free.

16/03/2026: Simply spectacular. The food, the service, and the price are all excellent. Everything on the menu is delicious, so I recommend any dish. Just be sure to save room for dessert; you'll find them at the entrance. Check them out before you go to your table.

17/03/2026: Pricier than other places. Food is ok only. Cooked too fast, served fast as well. They just want to make money it seems. I ordered lobster pasta.. the sauce was just tomatoe sauce... Not even bisque. Just normal tomato sauce!! Disappointed.

28/12/2025: I don't recommend it, the food isn't up to par, the chairs are still covered in crumbs left by previous customers, and the waitresses are polite and helpful.

23/12/2025: I went for a company dinner and we had a wonderful meal. You can see the attention to detail in the dishes: veal with tuna sauce, perfectly cooked to perfection, lovingly prepared Russian salad, excellent homemade tajarin, and a tender roast. Attentive and friendly service. Unfortunately, the location near the station isn't the best, but I highly recommend it.

15/02/2026: Even though we'd been to this place before, we've never had such a bad experience like last night. It's Valentine's Day, and it's understandable that you don't get service like on a regular Saturday night, and no one's arguing with that, but I don't think the way we were served is normal. We sat at the table in the second floor room at 8:00 PM. The room was empty. A table for two arrived at 8:45 PM, and they took our order an hour later, at 9:00 PM. We ordered 6 pizzas, two of which were the same. Three pizzas arrived at our table at 9:15 PM, along with two in the ravioli of the couple next to us. Another pizza arrived at our table at 9:30 PM, and the last two at 9:40 PM. Naturally, we each ate separately, given the wait between one pizza and the next. But whatever, let's continue with the evening. The waiters cleared our table at 9:50 PM, and for a whole hour, no one bothered to ask us if we wanted dessert or coffee. I got up to call them, and as if by magic, they told me we were coming to you! By now it was 11 PM, of course, we'd lost our craving for dessert, so we grabbed a coffee and left! I own a restaurant in Pinerolo and worked for a year as an extra at a pizzeria about 2 kilometers from this one, so coming from this job, I can confidently say I've never seen waiters completely ignore a table! Again, I understand the chaos, but a word said at the right time would have been appreciated. Sometimes, "Everything's fine, ladies and gentlemen!" is enough. If you're a waiter, it's not enough to just run back and forth; you also have to observe the people in the restaurant uniting and taking as few steps as possible to optimize time and, above all, not make the owner lose money. In our case, our table was sold six portions of desserts due to incompetent waiters!

07/02/2026: A family evening (12 people) at this pizzeria in Villar Perosa. It's easy to find because it's located at the entrance to the town center, with ample parking and a public playground right next to the parking lot. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace and open spaces for the warmer months, while inside there's a spacious dining room. Access is via steps, double doors (there's a stairlift) leading to the very spacious dining room. Tables are spaced well apart, with soft lighting and good acoustics. The pizzas are well-cooked and made with good crust; perhaps only the Margherita is a bit too cheesy. Excellent selection of desserts! Attentive and friendly table service. Good value for money! The aspects I would improve are: - the table layout, too diverse, constantly shifting; - the heating, completely absent (a pellet stove near the register, but not enough to heat the restaurant and therefore the customers), and furthermore, with the tables right by the doors, we ate in sweaters and jackets. The electric heater near the doors is insufficient; - The restroom area feels like a cold room, so cold it made things difficult for the children; - The pizza chef who cleans up and prepares at the end of the evening is also nice to watch, but if he starts making loud noises with mixers or similar, maybe not... I still recommend this place, certainly also for its potential.

24/02/2026: "Old school" place in all aspects. Environment, service, food cooked (VG), a little lost in servicing even though only 4tables to be served. Extremely expensive for what it offers.

29/01/2026: It's my favorite place: the food is excellent, the service is attentive and meticulous, the wine list is remarkable, but above all, the care and attention to customer service are like nothing else. Long live the Black Cat!

22/02/2026: Incredible, we went, 7.35pm. As soon as we entered they sent us away, with the excuse that it was all booked, impossible, the only pizzeria where it had just opened and it was already sold out 👎maybe the person who spoke to him was definitely unpleasant, I don't think a place can be completely booked, then anyway I saw several empty tables available,🤔??? Never again, if I have to book just write it and you don't go miles. to waste👎👎👎👎

28/03/2026: Nice place, very good food, generous portions (especially the gyros), and overall fair prices (perhaps a tad high, but the quality of the ingredients is there). I'm not giving it 5 stars, however, because of the now widespread trend among restaurants to run double dinners. Having to dine at 9:30 PM is quite unpleasant, and if you let me in at that time, you shouldn't rush me to leave by 11 PM. Overall, a positive experience.

13/03/2026: Good food and decent service. Unfortunately, the space is very small, which penalizes medium-sized tables. Definitely an experience worth trying. Reliable and convenient due to its strategic location for those traveling by train.

01/03/2026: Excellent restaurant with a wide menu to suit all tastes. Ample portions, impeccable service. Our lunch was excellent. Excellent quality and price, too. Highly recommended, but always best to book.

10/03/2026: Very good restaurant! Excellent wine selection. We ate several dishes, and they were all very good. My only complaint is the fillet steak; it was cooked very rare, but the Maillard reaction was missing. Fortunately, the meat was good quality and therefore tasty, but it could have been much better. Very good prices.

03/03/2026: I can't speak about the food or the place because there was no room, but I can assure you that I won't even go near the entrance again because the "lady" was anything but kind.... Without even looking at us, she sent us away because the place was full... As if we had bothered her.... Truly a deplorable attitude.
