26/08/2025: Truly excellent Neapolitan pizzeria. Excellent quality ingredients, well-leavened dough worthy of the "Neapolitan" title. The crust is beautifully high and soft, with plenty of room for toppings, and the center is thin and soft, like a sheet, yet firm, with excellent gluten development. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended for a wonderful evening.

16/08/2025: Located in the historic center but to the northwest, in a less busy area than Piazza Conte Rosso but with just as much character - and more accessible. Menu exclusively in Italian. Damn, our phones were dead and our knowledge of culinary Italian was limited. Since we couldn't choose, we opted for the 4-course tasting menu, at the reasonable price of 37 euros, which offered a sampling of the house dishes. And we ate the entire restaurant! And served by the ladle rather than the teaspoon! It's hard to remember a particular dish, but every piece on this (complete?) compilation was a hit! A highly recommended menu, provided you drastically monitor your diet in the previous twelve hours to be able to fully indulge. So, unfortunately, no clichés to immortalize the moment. Served under a small, very pleasant arbor by a kind young woman with charming hesitations who seemed amazed by our substantial tip.

14/09/2025: I've known this restaurant since the '90s, but for various reasons, it's been a while since I've been back. It has a slightly retro style (in a good way), but it's very well-kept and very original. The first thing I really like is that they don't take reservations, they don't take turns; you just show up and ask for a table. I dare say, fantastic! The service is very fast, professional, kind, and attentive to the customer, which isn't always the case. The menu is a mix of typical Piedmontese dishes, some seafood, and other regional dishes. We ordered: Piedmontese appetizer consisting of four samples (they call it "poker"), including Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, green tomini cheese, and peppers with anchovies: very good, and the quantity is even good for two people. For our first course, we ordered agnolotti del plin, which is also very generous and can easily be shared between two people. For our second course, we had Valdostana (dry fried food, very good) and Venetian-style liver (plenty and very good). For dessert, I couldn't resist the stuffed peaches. They cost €8, but they're absolutely worth it; they're exceptional! We spent €85 for two, but it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended. I'll definitely go back; we loved it.

25/07/2025: It's a shame, because the pizza was really good. The problem is that the prices are high for all the other dishes served. You can't pay 14 euros for a small plate of penne with tomato sauce (a child's dish), 20 euros for a Milanese, and then add an extra cover charge. Who knows why? Maybe instead of starting from zero, they start at one... not to mention the prices for the basic focaccias served and the French fries with two mini-samples of sauce. They'll never see us again.

14/07/2025: Cena del 01/07/2025la La posizione è centrale, a ridosso di piazza Solferino, e l’ambiente moderno, forse un po’ impersonale, con numerosi tavoli sufficientemente distanziati da garantire un buon comfort acustico. Il menù è piuttosto ampio, con proposte sia di terra sia di mare della tradizione italiana. Preparazioni, a mio giudizio, un po’ disomogenee: molto apprezzati l’insalata di polpo con patate, pomodorini e olive ed il vitello tonnato, troppo unta la “orecchio di elefante”, in origine proposta con pomodorini e rucola a cascata sulla carne, con il rischio di inumidire l’impanatura e cuocere le verdure fresche. Carta dei vini abbastanza ampia, comprendente anche qualche “mezza” bottiglia. Servizio cortese ma, nonostante il ridotto numero di avventori, un po’ lento. Voto: 7

10/09/2025: Excellent tourist menu for €12.50 per person, including a first course, second course, side dish, drink, and dessert. Wide selection of dishes. Excellent and plentiful food, it felt like home. We'll definitely be back.

14/08/2025: The best place we ate during our vacation. The absolute best pizzas I have ever tasted. We ate there twice and were greeted with fantastic service and delicious food both times. They are both incredibly friendly and really fast and you get extremely much quality for your money. Compared to many other places in the city, they are relatively good at English, so there is no big language barrier. HIGHLY recommended!

30/07/2025: We were very disappointed with our experience at Il Gramsci restaurant. Although the atmosphere was initially pleasant, a dog inside cried almost the entire time we were dining, completely ruining the experience. It was difficult to enjoy our meal in these conditions. I understand that some restaurants accept pets, but a minimum of supervision is necessary to ensure the comfort of all guests. It's a shame, because the menu looked promising.
