MARCELLO In Torino

I used to come here when I was a boy, and now that I've lived in the United States for almost 30 years, I return every time we meet up with the same friends from back then. The cuisine and service are exceptional, confirming the quality of this restaurant over the decades. See you next time I visit Turin!

Good food and decent service. Unfortunately, the space is very small, which penalizes medium-sized tables. Definitely an experience worth trying. Reliable and convenient due to its strategic location for those traveling by train.

Excellent restaurant with a wide menu to suit all tastes. Ample portions, impeccable service. Our lunch was excellent. Excellent quality and price, too. Highly recommended, but always best to book.

Considering the type of restaurant, the dinner was expensive, I expected something less. The service was overall good, the staff friendly, the food quite good, and the location in Norma.

For me, Marcello isn't just "a restaurant." It's a piece of Turin and a piece of my life. I've known it since I was probably 4 years old, and I've returned now that I'm 40: it still feels like home, even though the place has changed and become more modern. The menu is a rare find: two pages of first courses, two pages of second courses, side dishes, desserts... and a truly special wine list. But the most important thing is that the quality has remained extremely high: cuisine prepared with great dedication, authentic flavors, generous portions, everything exactly as I remembered it (if not better). And then there's the detail that seems almost impossible today: you leave happy, after wine + water, two appetizers, side dishes, two second courses, and dessert... and you spend 50 euros for two. In Turin, yes, but it's not a given. I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good, eat well, and enjoy a beautiful atmosphere without having to pay absurd "Milan-style" prices (like 60 euros for a cutlet). Here, you eat seriously.

I always have a good time at Marcello's, the dishes are not too elaborate but very good.
