29/03/2024: We celebrated our wedding here and it was a moment beyond expectations. Quality, courtesy, availability, location all above the wildest expectations. Since we were a small wedding of just a few people, during the organization phase we were almost resigned to having to settle for a restaurant given the difficulty in finding a beautiful location that would also allow weddings with a small number of participants, then a stroke of luck made us find Villa Somis who allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. 02/04/2024: We were in this place on Easter Monday, very nice location, it was very full, but despite this they managed to give a good service, the waiters, all very helpful and kind, the food, you can see that the chef knows how to do it, very good dishes. good, I took the fish menu, very good especially the octopus skewer and the fried food done to perfection, light and tasty, but those who ate the land menu didn't complain, ok, we will definitely be back, well done.

23/02/2024: Our group of 8 made reservations at Osteria della Marchesa after a few days of skiing Montgenevre and Seistriere. Only one in our party ordered a pizza (which was delicious), while the rest of us ordered the chef’s choice 3-course meal. You could choose between beef, seafood or vegetarian-themed meal. I chose the seafood as did 3 others in our party and the other 3 chose beef. Not knowing what the chef was going to make added to our adventure and we were not disappointed. In fact, while we have had many wonderful meals since arriving in Italy a week ago, Osteria della Marchesa exceeded our expectations! The food was superb, including the crusty bread to soak-up the savory sauces. The ambiance was cozy and relaxed. And our server, Deneeza (sp?), was warm, friendly and efficient. Thank you for making our trip so very special!

The "Controcorrente and Vigonza mia" dishes are an explosion of taste in your mouth! We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Perfect service. 17/03/2024: Reservation for 9pm: we arrive very early and are welcomed with a smile. The menu offers authentic Piedmontese dishes, handmade pasta and bread, but Valter's company was the added value of the evening! ... I keep the cigar in the package...

25/03/2024: Experience to forget in this restaurant. A girl with long straight blonde hair tied back, with an incomparable listlessness and arrogance, truly out of place, took the lead. The only thing that survived from the dinner was the veal with tuna sauce; what should have been a braised dish instead arrived as a fat-filled and BOILED (not braised) stew, watered down in broth instead of its own restricted gravy. Asked for two glasses of wine by the glass (€10 each), pouring the second one finished the bottle but not even an inch had been poured, so we pointed out the CLEAR difference in quantity with the other one and the girl mentioned above, snorting strongly she went to get another one. At the time of the bill, unheard of rudeness. On our way out we met a couple of customers who had gone out to smoke and were making the SAME OBSERVATIONS about the waitress as us, in fact we exchanged a few words about it, all very negatively surprised. Work in contact with the public is not for everyone, this was clear proof of that. Never again. EDIT: Reply to the restaurant: First of all I appreciate the education and courtesy in your response, unfortunately not found with the girl above. Dinner on Wednesday 3 January 2024. In the room there was also a young boy and a girl with glasses if I'm not mistaken. The waitress I am referring to, the other customers outside the restaurant and I imagine also the customers who complain about it in various other reviews, was behind the counter when we arrived and was also doing the accounts, she came to take the order and told us brought the wine. I remember perfectly that she had long straight hair tied in a high ponytail. But on that date there were only the 3 people mentioned working in the restaurant in the room. 24/03/2024: Let me start by saying that the staff is very courteous, I must say that I expected something more. We sat down and there was already a welcome from the chef with a Russian salad - I would say normal - but you could see that it had been out of the fridge since before our arrival. As an appetizer we took a Fassona Tartare which seemed more minced than cut with a knife, and an unbalanced vitello tonnato with too much sauce and also in this case it was clear that it was already prepared, having said that good meat. Followed by paccheri with turnip rhymes, but with a raw topping and ravioli del plin with an interesting fondue but a little overcooked. Wine at an appropriate price for a 2019 Barbaresco. 25/03/2024: Fantastic tree and restaurant. Owners very kind, courteous and respectful. They enjoy the utmost esteem and our utmost gratitude. Excellent cuisine for authenticity and quantity. Our primary place of reference, where we are very happy to go when we can. Highly recommended for everything. Fulvio/Isabel/Falco. Dogs are also welcome.

10/03/2024: We had the opportunity to use the restaurant service. Terrible service! €30 menu, and dishes not received. They don't even know how to serve at the table...not to mention how the course is presented. Only the freshness of the products is saved. Disappointed.

05/04/2024: I had dinner last night for the first time with friends, very nice, clean and welcoming environment, the staff and owner were really exquisite and very kind, the pizzas were excellent in taste, workmanship and authenticity, the caponata was spectacular, I recommend it and I will return very willingly. The bill was adequate for what was offered.

The employees are very professional and attentive to our every need. It's worth leaving the highway (15 minutes) and is situated in a peaceful overlooking the Di Candia lake.

18/02/2024: Siamo stati in questo meraviglioso ristorante ieri sera con altre 4 coppie di amici....sono rimasta incantata da tutto dal cibo eccezionale alla professionalità del padrone di casa Federico che sa essere un ottimo padrone di casa senza essere invadente. La ragazza che ci ha servito, figlia del proprietario, è stata stupenda bella educata sempre sorridente e gentile ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Tutte le portate che ci sono state servite sono state sublimi x la vista ed il palato ed al termine della serata abbiamo voluto conoscere e ringraziare la chef che ha messo veramente cuore e passione nel fare questo lavoro....mai mangiato così bene ci tornerò sicuramente...complimenti davvero

Il padrone di casa nonché marito della chef ci ha presentato il menù come una bellissima favola.. amplia e azzeccata scelta dei vini …che dire …bisogna tornarci! Complimenti ancora!
