15/12/2024: I would like to say thank you because of the food and services that we were given . BUT from other side in my heart i’m very disappointed and sad … tonight was a special night that my fiancé organized in order to propose me … he asked the stuff to take a video of the moment but they refused that by saying it’s not possible to take a video ! he proposed me anyhow but he explained me later the story and that feels so sad that he was not able to register that beautifule moment of our life . he chose this restaurant to make the night special (and actually it was for me ), but the fact that they did not let us to register this unique moment of our life will always remain with us . I would like to mention that 10 min before with the permission of the waitress I took a video of her while serving a drink so i can conclude that it was allowed to take video ! I’m just deeply sad in my heart why for us it was not possible… tonight will never ever repeat again …

12/12/2024: The tasting menu is a sensorial journey in which flavors are expertly combined. The dishes, impeccable from an aesthetic point of view, reveal delicate and familiar tastes, in perfect balance with the refined wines. The chef is present and very helpful, in synergy with the formal but welcoming staff.

15/12/2024: Excellent food, service definitely above average. Warm and welcoming environment. The wine list is immense. Highly recommended overall, excellent experience, will definitely return. Note of merit to the girl newly graduating in art history whose name, unfortunately, I don't know. Until next time!

16/10/2024: After celebrating our wedding anniversary we returned to celebrate my wife's birthday and as then we found the usual perfect environment in all its facets starting with the pleasant welcome from the staff not to mention the seafood and truly sublime land with fresh products cooked with skill by the excellent Chef. Thanks to them we had two magnificent events and therefore an important point of reference for the future. Well done

01/11/2024: Magical place, magnificent landscape. The chalet is very well decorated, the view from the rooms is splendid with the lake in the picture. The restaurant with a view of the lake, the dishes are delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast with varied and homemade products. No extra for the dog, only happiness.

25/11/2024: The choice to eat heated outside is questionable because the environment continues to cool due to the coming and going of the waiter. I had already had dinner here and came back but the tuna steak was lukewarm and not very tasty. The guy in the room can't manage the times correctly, too much waiting to order or receive the ordered food. Regular account.

09/12/2024: A beautiful discovery. Great food; pleasant welcome and service. Top dish: onion stuffed with sausage on a bed of melted mountain cheese. The shank with potatoes is also super.

04/12/2024: We had booked for some time, reading the very positive reviews of this small but precious restaurant, and we did well! Dinner with friends, the limited capacity requires shifts (which we normally don't like...) but never mind, in this case we accepted it, a small sacrifice well repaid by the excellent culinary experience. We started with the vitello tonnato, in the classic way, without excess sauces and mayonnaise, continued with agnolotti del Plin and gnocchi, everything, everything delicious! Sweets, bonet and eggnog cream. Kind and friendly welcome, we left extremely satisfied. Well done!

The place is nice and located in the center, super convenient It offers both meat and fish menus with innovative variations as well as typical Piedmontese dishes. If you want to spend an evening out of the ordinary and enter a magical and special place I recommend the Barolo house. Since we were a small wedding of just a few people, during the organization phase we were almost resigned to having to settle for a restaurant given the difficulty in finding a beautiful location that would also allow weddings with a small number of participants, then a stroke of luck made us find Villa Somis who allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams.
