18/05/2026: Sunday morning, sunshine, peace, and breakfast at Caffè San Carlo... bliss! Excellent coffee, out-of-this-world pastries, fast service, and a fabulous location inside and out. It's refreshing to see businesses like this still exist, with such dedicated staff dedicated to providing quality products and service. The prices are rightfully higher than average. If you've never tried Carla, you haven't lived.

We tried both the sweet and savory options and were extremely satisfied. Everything was meticulously crafted, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. From the soft and delicious pastries to the more unique savory options, everything was truly impeccable.
The elegant location and unique atmosphere make breakfast even more enjoyable, perfect for a treat in the heart of Turin ☕🥐
An experience we would absolutely repeat!

22/04/2026: Normal pizza... a little thin and... it's a shame that I asked for speck in exchange for cooked ham and porcini mushrooms in place of the Champions, that is, two slices and 4 pieces... it cost me 4 euros more... perhaps it would have been better to specify to add and not replace the ingredients

17/05/2026: Horrible food. A second course called Splendido, which was a sandwich with a hard-boiled egg and lettuce leaves and a microscopic shrimp. It tasted disgusting. An appetizer of shaken chickpeas and crackers tasted like vomiting. The bill for two people was €50. I've been an Eataly customer for a long time. Now I'm throwing away my membership card. I consider this behavior fraudulent.

Beyond offering a variety of food products, this establishment embodies that uniquely Italian ability to transform a meal into a complete cultural experience.
It's no coincidence that this franchise has a presence in cities like London, New York, Paris, and Bologna: they have cleverly exported a modern, attractive, and expertly executed image of Italian cuisine to the world.
Initiatives like this should serve as inspiration to other countries, especially Spain, which boasts an extraordinary gastronomic heritage but is still underrepresented internationally by such solid and recognizable global chains or concepts.

23/04/2026: We walked there in very warm weather. The restaurant opens at noon.
Unfortunately, we didn't get any drinks because we didn't order anything.
The gorge and St. Anna are worth a visit.

01/04/2026: A refuge on the Claviere slopes, a beautiful and welcoming place, with same-day reservations available. After an international ski trip, it's a great place to rest and relax. The lunch was excellent, featuring dishes prepared more like a Michelin-starred restaurant than a refuge, without detracting from the rural essence of the meal. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling, even though we arrived a little late for our reserved table. Lunch was pleasant and well-received, with a good portion of food that was filling. I'll be back.

03/05/2026: Amazing pizza this one is with aged prosciutto and burrata ♥️😻 the owner was extremely kind and the Argentinian waiter the best! We came without reservation and despite they were full they found the way to accommodate a nice table!! Prices are good for the quality of service and food!
03/05/2026: We had a lakeside pizza that wasn't bad, but the wait was a bit long (it was the evening of Friday, May 1st). It was a shame about the dessert, "Japanese cream caramel cheesecake," because it had nothing Japanese or cheesecake-like about it: it was a simple cream caramel (which was also good), but it's better to write it down directly without raising false expectations. Service was average.

04/12/2025: An extremely negative experience: the staff was rude and incompetent, the food was expired, and hygiene was completely lacking. Furthermore, they required advance payment without guaranteeing adequate service, even sending you to the hospital. I strongly advise against this activity and urge maximum caution.

07/05/2026: We had lunch with some friends at this restaurant. We ordered two appetizers for five people and five lake fish-based main courses. Everything was quite good. Service was also quite fast, considering the large number of people.
21/04/2026: We ordered a pizza that looked like it came straight from a frozen supermarket... A tourist trap, not good.
The carpaccio wasn't seasoned, the salad was dry... A shame, the view is beautiful.
The waiter was pleasant.

27/04/2026: For the price paid, it was decidedly bad... the room was very small and the cleanliness was decidedly lacking. Cobwebs, poorly dusted, and a strong smell of disinfectant attempted to cover up another unpleasant odor (it tasted like cigarette smoke). The small balcony was inaccessible due to the outdoor air conditioning unit being completely covered in pigeon droppings, with a guest inside. Fortunately, the bed and bathroom were tidy and clean, but the rest of the room left much to be desired. It felt like it was stuck in the 70s and 80s. The only reason I'm keeping one star is the convenient private paid parking. It's a shame, because the owners are certainly kind and generous, but that's obviously not enough.
