We were a little afraid because of the very different reviews, but we are incredibly happy that we chose the Bolongaro. The service was incredibly warm, especially to our son. The food was sooooo delicious - we had 2 different pizzas as well as a small penne carbonara for our son and dessert. We can recommend everyone to visit Bolongaro and will come again ourselves. Probably tomorrow ;)

In qs stagione, a Verbania, ci sono pochi locali aperti, di mercoledì, ancor peggio. Quelli aperti, al completo da tempo ... fortunatamente abbiamo trovato posto in qs locale, in cui eravamo mai stati. Candelina rossa sul tavolo e qualche palloncino rosso ed altri a cuore. Cibo buono, noi abbiamo ordinato pesce. Meglio del previsto, cmq, confermo 'locale per stranieri'. Gentili i camerieri. Prezzi nella media. Un piccolo omaggio dolce per il giorno degli innamorati

The best pizza 🍕 on Lake Maggiore. Service was super nice and very friendly. Unfortunately our 🧳 vacation was short but we'll be back next time.

Grotto Carza - Ritrovo e Ristoro

08/10/2023: Una giornata splendida in mezzo alla natura in un ambiente delizioso. Cibo buonissimo e di ottima qualità, personale gentilissimo! Davvero tutto perfetto!
21/08/2023: Very high up on the mountain above Cannero. Serpentines are easy to navigate and sufficiently wide. There is enough parking space at the restaurant. Wonderful air above. Very nice ambience and interior design of the restaurant. Food was great and price/performance was absolutely reasonable. A short tour of the small climbing park after dinner. A mini bubble pond has also been created for small children. All in all a successful evening

Hotel Corona

14/01/2024: Since it was renovated even more welcoming and comfortable. Not only breakfast service, but also restaurant for lunch and dinner
09/01/2024: The facility is agee, to say the least. My room was very large but furnished with rather old-fashioned pieces. As I passed, I saw other much smaller but more modern rooms; I assume the result of recent renovations. The shower carpet is missing in the bathroom, I hope due to simple forgetfulness. We went during the time of the markets but the road in front was being renovated so we couldn't use the parking in front (€15/day) which was actually necessary given the central location; the hotel is also very convenient for those arriving by train. Reading the other comments on the breakfast I was taken aback: I don't know if it was due to the high season but we found a more than abundant and varied breakfast, of excellent quality and served by attentive and friendly staff.
