A rustically furnished pizzeria in Pallanza with many antique items inside and a lovely terrace on the promenade, some with a view of the lake. The service was very friendly, the food—my pizza was fantastic—I can highly recommend it.

Bolongaro is a Pallanza institution. A large restaurant with a lovely terrace, always packed with tourists and therefore occasionally a bit hectic. Despite this, the pizzas are absolutely superb and unbeatable in terms of price. A great place to go if you're craving pizza!

EXCELLENT food, coordinated, fast, and EXTRAORDINARY service!
Despite the restaurant being packed, we were greeted and seated with GREAT professionalism and kindness!
We tried both the kitchen and the pizzas: well-made, plentiful, and flavorful.
Excellent wine list.
Perfectly balanced quality/price ratio.

We tried it. Meh.
There are surely better restaurants.
The fish was good, like the swordfish with salad and cherry tomatoes; the other dishes had added vegetables.
But where it fell short was the desserts—none were homemade and they weren't anything special.
Cutlery, water, and bread were extra.
We found it a bit expensive for what it was. The location was okay.

We had lunch with some friends at this restaurant. We ordered two appetizers for five people and five lake fish-based main courses. Everything was quite good. Service was also quite fast, considering the large number of people.
