21/07/2024: I return to this place from time to time because the atmosphere of the courtyard full of plants is beautiful. Despite this, I find the service somewhat shabby every time. The waiters constantly interrupt conversations without leaving time to decide on the dishes and despite the empty place. Small portions for the prices - plate of paccheri with 8 paccheri to overdo it. Taste ok. Salty bill.

18/07/2024: Friendly staff. insufficient value for money (prices too expensive for the quality). very nice atmosphere. Ultimately I recommend it for an aperitif, NOT for a dinner.

15/08/2024: I have been eating at Padellino for many years; for several months now I have routinely consumed gluten-free pizza or fried gnocco, which is also gluten-free, and I have never had anything to complain about. The quality of the products is excellent, the staff courteous and helpful. During lunch time there is a bit of a crowd to pay, but this is very normal for an area full of offices. For a gluten-free meal, or even a quick one, Padellino is always the right place!

12/04/2024: Premetto che il locale è molto pulito, accogliente e confortevole. Inoltre gli ingredienti di farcitura delle due pizze erano molto buoni e di qualità. Le criticità che mi spingono a dare un giudizio negativo sono le seguenti: 1) la pasta della pizza era molto molle e poco cotta; forse l’impasto non era lievitato bene o forse il forno non era a temperatura; 2) il locale era praticamente vuoto e piacevolmente silenzioso fino a che il pizzaiolo si è seduto in un tavolo vicino al nostro e guardava filmati di YouTube con un volume piuttosto alto ed “invadente”; 3) come da foto di scontrino allegato non capisco la voce doppiamente ripetuta “2x2,00” per un totale di €8.00…capisco che un 2x2,00 (totale €4) possa essere riferito a due coperti ma pensare che il secondo 2x2,00 (altri €4) sia dovuto a due pezzi di focaccia immediatamente serviti come “entrée” (non eravamo ancora neanche seduti) mi lascia piuttosto perplesso! Ovviamente per €4 non sono tornato a chiedere spiegazioni… Onestamente, conoscendo piuttosto bene altri ristoranti/pizzerie di Limone, non credo che tornerò ma esorto chiunque a provare il locale: sono sicuro di essere stato vittima di “circostanze sfortunate”!

27/08/2024: Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients, the dough is not too crunchy, in fact it is slightly chewy, especially when it starts to cool (not necessarily a criticism), quite intense, fragrant with yeast and very recognizable in flavour. Here too, fortunately, no strategic "ledge" that would take up half the plate. Fairly friendly service, following my observation on the fact that the cheese would only and strictly be red (joking hyperbole) there was a subtle controversy with the waitress: it's okay, but discussing the customer's tastes is never a good idea, better glissare. Tried both on site and takeaway over the years, it has always met expectations. Among the best in the area and in the city considering the quality/price ratio. For those who need it, gluten-free dough is available

25/08/2024: Great pizzas and the spectacular GLUTEN FREE ones. The attention of the staff was always friendly and very correct, we even let them know that we were bringing a pet and everything was easy. We were very happy and recommend it 100%.

01/07/2024: As we were passing through, the choice of place was made based on the reviews we found, after reading about excellent boiled meat and exceptional typical Piedmontese dishes. Unfortunately, the disappointment wasn't long in coming. We arrive at 7.30pm, lights off and door closed but the sign: open. The owners open us and in a freezing climate they accompany us to the table. The lady approaches and starts listing some dishes, without giving us any menus. Having read online about a menu with tastings from the trolley of boiled meats and first courses etc, we asked if there had been the possibility of receiving it and let her do it. He begins to bring us a piece of excellent quality fassona, while Russian salad and raw salami are average. Subsequently, as first courses we expected something more typical Piedmontese, but to our great disappointment we were served a rice salad (with supermarket condiriso) and watered-down and bland gorgonzola gnocchi. The disappointment continues with the second course, 2 slices of tasteless roast (served without side dish). To conclude, 2 types of cheeses were brought with a cherry jam. The environment has remained completely stuck in the 70s, with that patina of melancholy and sadness. Paper tablecloths, unset tables. The bathrooms bordering on decency, dirty and malfunctioning. The only positive note, in addition to the fassona joke, was the bill (for two "menus" + house wine + 2 coffees €60), which leads this review to have 2 stars. I'm sorry but we won't be returning.

21/05/2024: For me it remains an institution of Piedmontese food. The starters are always good, the wine is excellent, the boiled meat is excellent, the bath is superb. I hadn't been there for a long time, I came back on my way to work, I'd go back tomorrow.... Well done!

01/09/2024: Excellent pizzas eaten with joy after a long wait between ordering and service (more than an hour because the restaurant was crowded). But there was an apology, a good commercial gesture with a lot of professionalism. Thank you so much! We will come back with pleasure!

20/07/2024: Air conditioning only in one room....with this heat...for two pizzas we waited 45 minutes...they couldn't wait any longer and so we had to leave because pizzas were only being baked for takeaway...we paid just the drinking...with the rude comment from the waitress

01/08/2024: High price based on quantity and quality. Burger in question (16 euros) without side dish, to be ordered separately (6 euros)! Yet they serve it on a large, rectangular plate with lots of empty space on the sides. Extremely low margins! 13 euros for one (?) crouton (half a slice) of very common toasted bread with 2 friggitelli, 4 cherry tomatoes and a really small slice of burrata mignon. Extremely low margins! Perhaps the toasting of the bread camouflaged what it was not possible to camouflage with the breadsticks in the set, not exactly fragrant and with a hint of staleness, unfortunately little attention was paid to conservation and 3 euros each for the set seems not exactly justified to me. Kind but hasty service given the only person both serving tables and at the cash register, although there aren't too many seats, this has an impact on the breathless service, we had to remember to bring water: they brought the food first. The quality of the food is average and absolutely does not justify the prices. I won't come back again, we'll try other places and it will definitely be better!

06/08/2024: We came back to try the risotto alla pescatora and it's really good! Highly recommended! Furthermore, the fried food and the mixed seafood and land starters are also excellent. Staff always super friendly, attentive and thoughtful!

01/08/2024: We were there for lunch, we had 2 first courses, tagliolini with seafood and tagliolini with clams and bottarga, two desserts, a panna cotta with strawberry topper and a passion fruit semifreddo, what can I say, everything was super excellent, we come from the sea and eat so fresh fish in a nom lake area it's so easy, very nice and professional staff and owners, I recommend it wholeheartedly ❤️❤️❤️

02/08/2024: We stayed in the hotel for three nights (family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 16). The hotel is fantastic. Lovely spacious rooms, beautifully appointed, air conditioned and good wifi. The staff were absolutely lovely - helpful, friendly and polite. The food was delicious. All set in the most incredible location. Beautiful island. Good choice of places to eat, most with incredible views over the lake. Easy to get on and off ferries to the other Borromean islands (Isola Bella and Isola Madre) and back to the mainland (Stresa and Baveno). We swam every day too. Thoroughly recommend.

31/07/2024: Hotel bello, pulito con personale gentile e disponibile. Ristorante ottimo e colazione abbondante. Il tutto nel contesto stupendo dell'isola dei pescatori. Cosa volere di meglio!
