10/05/2026: Hello, it's (admittedly) not a gourmet restaurant. Nevertheless, it's OUR go-to place when we're in Turin! Good... Welcoming... The owner even gave us advice on making his pizza dough: type of flour, kneading, etc. Of course, geographically, we can't compete with him. But try other restaurants... And for the "picky" ones who criticize... You'll have to tell me what they eat at home... 😉 You get the picture: I LOVE IT! BUT THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO... Yesterday, May 9th, 2026, the pizza chef retired, the waiter became a pizza chef, and there was a new waitress... The result: over an hour's wait, a downgraded menu, and undercooked mussels. It was our sixth time here; if the first time had been like that, we would never have come back. I don't know if I'll give it another chance... In any case, not by inviting family or friends... We'll see...

Feeling at home even when far away is a great compromise when you're traveling. Highly recommended. Fair prices and high quality.

07/03/2026: I've been to Du Village and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. From the outside, the restaurant seems small and discreet, but as soon as you enter, you realize it's much larger than it appears: a spacious room that can seat up to 130 people, perfect for groups and events. We had a very good pizza, but browsing the menu, we realized the selection is truly extensive: you can find practically everything here, from A to Z, from traditional cuisine to fresh fish, with specialties like oysters and seafood. The owner has extensive experience in the restaurant business: over 55 years of experience and 38 years of self-employment, and this shows in the organization, the cuisine, and the attention to customers. The restaurant is also ideal for events and celebrations, such as weddings, first communions, baptisms, and parties, thanks to its large spaces and varied menu. We ate very well and were welcomed with kindness. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. 🍕🐟

11/03/2026: Good coffee, but I find the closing time a bit too early in the evening (March 2026). Speaking of closing, the metal door handle could pinch your fingers between it and the door frame. I had a bad experience with that.

01/05/2026: I'm a regular at the Last Hall restaurant in Baveno. The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Dino and offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. The interior is elegant and original, while the outdoor terrace overlooks the lake, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The menu is excellent, with high-quality dishes. The wait staff is also friendly, attentive, and always available. I also had the pleasure of meeting chef Andrea, who delighted us with truly incredible dishes. I will definitely return.

19/07/2026: A very charming location on the ground floor of a medieval building, overlooking the lake. Welcome to the friendly owner, we immediately explained our cheese and garlic intolerances and ordered both seafood and freshwater fish dishes, both of which were very good. The service was very professional, attentive, and courteous. The prices were moderately high, but adequate for the dishes, which were also well-executed.

18/07/2026: 🔴 Terrible experience: unacceptable rudeness and arrogance Four of us went to this restaurant last night, and the experience was nothing short of shameful. From the very beginning, we were constantly pressured by the blonde woman taking our orders (I assume the owner or manager), who kept rushing us, insisting that the kitchen was about to close. The menu offered limited choices and nothing that really appealed to us. Consequently, we decided to order drinks for both dishes and four. At that point, the woman exceeded all bounds of professionalism and politeness: with incredible arrogance, she began clearing the table before our eyes, telling us verbatim that since there were four of us, she wouldn't accept an order for only two dishes. In effect, she kicked us out of the restaurant. Such behavior, besides being shortsighted in commercial terms, is completely disrespectful towards the customer. There are many ways to communicate, but the rudeness and incivility I've experienced here are inexcusable. If you don't want to be treated like dirt, stay away. Highly discouraged.

08/04/2026: It's a local tennis club with an inn. Reservations are always required; the cuisine, prepared by the owner, is decidedly good and exceeds the expectations you might expect from a club. The owner is an excellent cook; the cuisine is Monferrato/Piedmontese, and the dishes are plentiful and carefully prepared. The handmade agnolotti, the Fassona steak tartare, the veal with tuna sauce, the liver, etc. are excellent. In autumn, there's the possibility of a quality white truffle. The service is attentive, courteous, and fast. The quality of the food and the presentation are excellent, and the price is proportionate to the quality of the product. The wine selection could be improved; it's not bad at all, but it could definitely be improved. I would suggest adding wines from the nearby Cantina Sbarato di Cantavenna, which are high-quality. The club's wines could be improved because they're of medium-low quality compared to the cuisine; however, they're passable. The service is quick and attentive, making it a restaurant I can recommend without fear of contradiction. The cuisine is excellent, the setting simple and rustic, as the name suggests, with the option of dining outside during the warmer months. My rating for the restaurant is 2.5, but for the decidedly excellent cuisine, I've raised my score to 4 because it exceeds expectations. Highly recommended.
