08/05/2026: The view fades into the background when the waiter hits a pigeon on the next table with a can over the head to scare it away. The staff doesn't seem to care, as they didn't even look up when I pointed it out. Animal cruelty is a serious issue in any context, and it's painful to see how far this concept still extends, especially among those who profit from the lake.

04/05/2025: Beppe Gallina è ormai da anni una certezza per torinesi e turisti. In entrambi i locali situati a Porta Palazzo e a San Salvario si mangia pesce fresco con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. I piatti sono casalinghi, le porzioni abbondanti e il servizio semplice ma curato. La formula all inclusive (un piatto a scelta, un bicchiere di vino, acqua e focaccia) a 17 euro è geniale. Consigliatissimo.

25/04/2025: Sono stato per una cena con la famiglia in visita a Torino. Locale molto accogliente, cucina ottima preparata in maniera espressa proprio davanti a te. Sapori sopraffini, raffinati, sembrava di avere il mare in bocca. Complimenti per la gentilezza, la cortesia e la squisitezza dei piatti serviti. Consiglierò assolutamente e tornerò senza dubbio

03/01/2026: The Norman cubo, a thin brioche with pistachio cream, is simple and delicious. Coffee is served with a small glass of sparkling water. A little away from the crowds, it's a lovely spot for a snack.

16/12/2025: About 8 months ago a group of us had our monthly meeting at this particular cafe. The ratings are from that visit. In general we found a philosophical disconnect. The service and prices seemed to target high end customers while at least the café offerings (not meals) and the decor were reminiscent of Las Vegas casinos. At the same time, the customers who were there when we visited were few and were all demonstrable working class locals or tourists. --- Coming forward to 15/12/25: We had noted some paper signs on the windows and the fact that this landmark was closed about 2 months ago. In fact it was closed on September 10, 2025. Today, finally one of us had a chance to pass by on foot. The photos are from this visit. It was still closed. According to the sign the café is in police custody. According to local news reports there's an ongoing investigation into fraud, perhaps to the tune of up to 100 million euros. Sometimes businesses come back after this kind of scrutiny and sometimes not.

01/05/2026: Quiet and spacious atmosphere The staff were friendly but a bit "unripe" in their customer service. The pizzas were beautifully plated, with an easy-to-digest dough and quality ingredients...but The burrata and sausage had too much oil in the tomato sauce and was too acidic and "dry." The mortadella and burrata had too much oil...the result was greasy. Both pizzas were lukewarm...and lukewarm pizza isn't the best. What stands out is the €6.50 for a medium blonde pizza...and €5 for a bottle of Coke...no...that's not right...perhaps it's to offset the The F o r K discount?

01/05/2026: I'm a regular at the Last Hall restaurant in Baveno. The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Dino and offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. The interior is elegant and original, while the outdoor terrace overlooks the lake, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The menu is excellent, with high-quality dishes. The wait staff is also friendly, attentive, and always available. I also had the pleasure of meeting chef Andrea, who delighted us with truly incredible dishes. I will definitely return.

10/04/2026: Refined and exquisite dishes and a fabulous location. Great credit to the highly trained and efficient staff, especially the maitre d' who served us.

18/05/2026: I've been going to Cincillà for pizza for 50 years now—if only walls could talk! The fact that it's still open and run by the same family is a real plus. Aiello and his wife always give it their all!

09/05/2026: I ate at this pizzeria tonight: the pizza is delicious, the place is comfortable, and the service is impeccable and fast. Everything is affordable. I highly recommend it 😊

01/05/2026: My experience with this restaurant went something like this: "Hello, good morning, can we sit down?" "How many of you are there?" (There were two of us, clearly visible to the waiter). "There are two of us." The waiter nods, indicating the *empty* tables. He doesn't even say, "Please take a seat," or "Sure, go ahead." As soon as he nodded to us to sit down, we continued on and left. Goodbye.

27/04/2026: Everything was great, the pizzas were delicious, the staff were friendly, and above all, the prices were very reasonable, so I highly recommend it. However, it's best to book ahead, as the pizzeria is very popular.

06/04/2026: Like many customers, I didn't have a good experience. I booked for 5 and was treated terribly by the staff who were not up to the task, I'd say they were hired at the last minute and served without any waiter experience. Rude. I certainly read the reviews, and I'm not the only one complaining; I'd say the owner is also aggressive. I absolutely wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. I'll start by saying that the tables were close together. The Easter menu was awful.

01/05/2026: I had lunch, and as soon as I entered, the atmosphere was gloomy. I had an appetizer, a main course, dessert, and coffee. The appetizer consisted of a platter of local cured meats that actually looked like they'd been bought at the supermarket. The main course was a slice of Fassona beef that was actually difficult to cut and full of sinew; the side dish was just roast potatoes that tasted of sweet vanilla. The dessert was an apple tarte tatin, but I found green pieces of mold inside. Obviously, I didn't eat it and pointed it out to the manager, who simply replied, "Excuse me." My husband and I were served coffee with two packets of sugar, one of which was already opened.

09/04/2026: Friendly welcome. We were allowed to order the daily specials, which consisted of two courses. The pasta pomodoro was served very quickly and was delicious. The main courses were also very good, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.

09/04/2026: Run by the owners, the pizzas were excellent, made with a stone-baked crust and an exquisite recipe overseen by them. The ingredients were of the highest quality, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially to tourists like myself. Thank you so much for the pizzas; it was a lovely evening with my aunt and uncle.
