02/10/2025: The food was good, especially the fried squid. But the person in charge of taking the order had a bad face and was not very friendly to the Chinese. The other service staff also did not smile much.

01/10/2025: The food is delicious. I ordered Bufalotta pizza, Scarpariello pasta, and French fries. The food was all delicious and would be repeated. However, there was a note about the bill when it arrived. My total price, including service, was 39 euros. He told me 43 euros. When I asked him why, he said it was because the service charge is 2.5 euros and that it's calculated based on the number of people at the table, not the total amount!

14/10/2025: My wife and I dined at the Vintage 1997 restaurant during a visit to Turin. It was a wonderful experience. The service staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was refined. We had a wine pairing, and both the dishes and the wines were delicious.

12/10/2025: Bad experience. The owner/maître d' was pretentious and unfriendly. The food definitely didn't live up to its Michelin star rating.

04/10/2025: We had already heard about this restaurant from acquaintances and decided to make a reservation. The seafood dinner was excellent; the restaurant staff were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I recommend this restaurant for the quality of the seafood, the generous portions, and above all, the attentive service we received! We were all satisfied.

27/09/2025: Nice little place, but it could use a refresh. The swordfish and potatoes are excellent. The bread is fresh, but the breadsticks are a bit dry. The price is average. Restrooms could use some work.

26/06/2025: Seeing a place open at night so clean and quiet was surprising, even more to find smiling, kind and very helpful staff even more. Although it can be considered only a "food area" it turned out to be better than many other places.

09/06/2025: J’étais déjà venue au Pastificio Defilippis et j’en avais gardé un excellent souvenir. Cette fois encore, l’expérience a été très agréable : les serveurs sont vraiment gentils et ont réussi à nous trouver une table alors qu’on n’avait pas réservé. Le cadre est charmant, bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne. La première fois, j’avais mangé des pâtes à l’arrabbiata que j’avais adorées, et j’étais venue exprès pour les reprendre — mais ici la carte change souvent, donc il faut savoir qu’on ne retrouve pas forcément les plats d’une fois sur l’autre. Ce n’est pas un restaurant de « classiques » comme la carbonara, le pesto ou le ragù : ici, on trouve plutôt des recettes originales comme des pâtes aux courgettes ou aux fruits de mer. C’est une cuisine qui sort de l’ordinaire, raffinée, bien travaillée. En revanche, les prix sont un peu élevés (comptez facilement 17-18 € le plat), et les portions sont assez petites — on a encore un peu faim en sortant. Donc le rapport qualité-prix peut paraître un peu juste. Mais les desserts sont très bons aussi, et l’ensemble reste une belle adresse si vous cherchez un resto de pâtes un peu différent à Turin.

28/10/2025: A must-see. Magnificent setting and location. Top-notch cuisine. Everything is fresh and made on-site. I recommend the battetta de fassona and the gorgonzola burger with a nice cold Menabbrea beer! Plenty of pastries and chocolates to enjoy as well.

25/05/2025: Wir waren zweimal hier zum Abendessen. Schöne Trattoria auf einem ruhigen Platz mitten in Turin. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns einen Tisch aussuchen lassen. Das Essen war sehr gut bis auf die Gnocchi di Patate und das Brot das sehr trocken war. Die Empfehlung für einen guten Wein aus dem Piemont einen Barbera d´Alba war ausgezeichnet. Für das Essen, Nachspeise, Aperol Spritz, Wasser und Wein zahlten wir pro Person im Schnitt 37 €Tolle

01/06/2025: Locale inserito nel Ricetto di Candelo, antico borgo medievale!! Mura antiche che all’interno custodiscono un gioiello dell’ingegno umano: un torchio imponente. Ambienti affascinanti e citatissimi, cucina e servizio eccellenti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Valore aggiunto del ristorante è il suo proprietario, Alberto, un vero anfitrione e chaperone!!

28/05/2025: Un angolo autentico di Piemonte da riscoprire Ieri sera io e la mia compagna abbiamo cenato al ristorante Il 14 di Carmagnola, nel cuore del centro storico, a due passi da piazze suggestive e porticati che raccontano la storia di un paese tanto bello quanto sottovalutato, ai confini delle Langhe. Nonostante fosse un tranquillo martedì sera, siamo rimasti colpiti dalla quiete del centro: un luogo che meriterebbe decisamente più vita e attenzione. Il locale ha un arredamento un po' datato, ma coerente con il contesto del borgo, che contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera familiare e autentica. A fare la vera differenza, però, è stata l’accoglienza: le signore in sala sono state gentilissime, attente e sempre sorridenti. Abbiamo iniziato con un ottimo antipasto da condividere, composto da vitello tonnato e salsiccia di Carmagnola, due classici del territorio eseguiti con gusto e semplicità. A seguire, io ho gustato una tagliata con patate al forno — carne tenera e cotta come desideravo, porzione generosa — tanto da chiedere un altro piattino di quelle deliziose patate! La mia compagna ha scelto un secondo più creativo: Gratin di patate & provola con hummus di ceci, ben equilibrato nei sapori. Per chiudere in dolcezza, ci siamo concessi due fette di torta artigianale, davvero meritevoli. Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto con una mezza bottiglia di Nebbiolo, una bottiglia d’acqua, un caffè e un limoncello. Alla fine, con soli 70 euro, abbiamo vissuto una serata perfetta: piatti abbondanti, qualità, cortesia e un’atmosfera che ti fa sentire a casa. Consigliatissimo per chi ama la cucina della tradizione piemontese, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Un posto dove sicuramente torneremo.

26/04/2025: Ristorante dove si mangia benissimo, proposte classiche ma con tocchi di innovazione. Ottima scelta dei vini. In sala accoglienza perfetta.

18/09/2025: It smells like a bar with a kitchen, not a restaurant (there are plenty of them in Arona). Okay... let's talk about it: I can't say the food is bad, on the contrary, but the portions are very small and at the same time very expensive. I really find it all very exaggerated! The waiters/waitresses are a bit so... not very empathetic. I'm sorry, but I won't go in there again! p.s. The bathroom is very dirty!

22/09/2025: Twice we went to eat a piece of grilled beef. Ordered medium, served maybe a little rare, but tender and excellent. Pasta with porcini mushrooms was also very good. Waitress friendly and efficient. Price a little high justified by the quality.
