06/07/2026: worst service possible. u sit and sit and no one comes. a manager runs around hot and sweaty as the others ignore u. I'd avoid it. go to another restaurant on the piazza. no one really cares. why waste ur time and money.

03/07/2026: I returned after years, but I suspect it's changed management. At lunchtime, there was a very long wait, even though it was early and there were only three tables occupied. The beer had become warm and undrinkable by then. I remembered the farinata and pan pizza as much crispier and tastier... but maybe my memory is deceiving me...

21/05/2026: I had a plate of pasta with pesto: it was definitely leftover pasta that had been reheated on the spot. Terrible. I was sick all afternoon. Even the cleanliness of the placemats and tables left a lot to be desired. I definitely won't set foot in there again.

08/04/2026: It's a local tennis club with an inn. Reservations are always required; the cuisine, prepared by the owner, is decidedly good and exceeds the expectations you might expect from a club. The owner is an excellent cook; the cuisine is Monferrato/Piedmontese, and the dishes are plentiful and carefully prepared. The handmade agnolotti, the Fassona steak tartare, the veal with tuna sauce, the liver, etc. are excellent. In autumn, there's the possibility of a quality white truffle. The service is attentive, courteous, and fast. The quality of the food and the presentation are excellent, and the price is proportionate to the quality of the product. The wine selection could be improved; it's not bad at all, but it could definitely be improved. I would suggest adding wines from the nearby Cantina Sbarato di Cantavenna, which are high-quality. The club's wines could be improved because they're of medium-low quality compared to the cuisine; however, they're passable. The service is quick and attentive, making it a restaurant I can recommend without fear of contradiction. The cuisine is excellent, the setting simple and rustic, as the name suggests, with the option of dining outside during the warmer months. My rating for the restaurant is 2.5, but for the decidedly excellent cuisine, I've raised my score to 4 because it exceeds expectations. Highly recommended.

17/05/2026: Horrible food. A second course called Splendido, which was a sandwich with a hard-boiled egg and lettuce leaves and a microscopic shrimp. It tasted disgusting. An appetizer of shaken chickpeas and crackers tasted like vomiting. The bill for two people was €50. I've been an Eataly customer for a long time. Now I'm throwing away my membership card. I consider this behavior fraudulent.

It's no coincidence that this franchise has a presence in cities like London, New York, Paris, and Bologna: they have cleverly exported a modern, attractive, and expertly executed image of Italian cuisine to the world. Initiatives like this should serve as inspiration to other countries, especially Spain, which boasts an extraordinary gastronomic heritage but is still underrepresented internationally by such solid and recognizable global chains or concepts.

26/05/2026: La Taverna del Pescatore (the Anchor) is a delightful Turin establishment where seafood reigns supreme, served in a variety of exquisite dishes. It's family-run, and you can tell right away from the courtesy, passion, and professionalism with which you're greeted. The fish is incredibly fresh, and our grilled meat was excellent. 01/05/2026: Quiet and spacious atmosphere The staff were friendly but a bit "unripe" in their customer service. The pizzas were beautifully plated, with an easy-to-digest dough and quality ingredients...but The burrata and sausage had too much oil in the tomato sauce and was too acidic and "dry." The mortadella and burrata had too much oil...the result was greasy. Both pizzas were lukewarm...and lukewarm pizza isn't the best. What stands out is the €6.50 for a medium blonde pizza...and €5 for a bottle of Coke...no...that's not right...perhaps it's to offset the The F o r K discount?

11/05/2026: I had to treat my parents to a Michelin-starred lunch... I was literally treated like dirt! No "good morning/good evening," no arrogant/pretentious responses, and when I pointed this out to Mr. Umberto, he even got touchy. Politeness is definitely something else...

23/04/2026: We walked there in very warm weather. The restaurant opens at noon. Unfortunately, we didn't get any drinks because we didn't order anything. The gorge and St. Anna are worth a visit.

14/06/2026: The lack of cleanliness is a real shame. The historic location, with frescoes and a beautiful chandelier, is full of dust and cobwebs right above the counter. The Frappato is €6 (a frothed coffee). Given the location and price, the service should have included a quality napkin and maybe a glass of water. A beautiful location isn't enough to make a restaurant stand out if cleanliness isn't a priority.

09/04/2026: Friendly welcome. We were allowed to order the daily specials, which consisted of two courses. The pasta pomodoro was served very quickly and was delicious. The main courses were also very good, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.

09/04/2026: Run by the owners, the pizzas were excellent, made with a stone-baked crust and an exquisite recipe overseen by them. The ingredients were of the highest quality, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially to tourists like myself. Thank you so much for the pizzas; it was a lovely evening with my aunt and uncle.

05/07/2026: Very efficient booking via app.. Place on the shore of Lake Maggiore with a very nice veranda, welcoming staff.. Very good pizza, shame about the prices always rising due to the many foreign tourists.. a pizza €15 and a draft drink €5 really excessive. Anyway, recommended place, maybe I'll go back🫡👋

26/06/2026: Very friendly service. Very attentive to children, and high chairs and plastic glasses are available. Beautiful view over the lake. Tasty fusion-style food (but also just good pizzas and pasta)!
