21/04/2025: There were five of us and we had an evening that was hard to beat. Everything was perfect for us: the atmosphere in the old monastery, the food, the service. The ravioli was very good, as was the pasta Cacio e Pepe. The veal cheeks were a poem! The whole atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. A great service that corresponds to the price, but without exaggeration, almost family-like. In addition to the food from the menu, there were delicious amuse gueules, bread, breadsticks and dessert bites (Coperto €4). The wine list is also very nice and the prices are very reasonable for restaurant prices. Depending on the number of courses, you should budget a total of 50 to 70 euros per person (the 4-course menu is 45 euros). As I said, a wonderful evening!

02/06/2025: Restaurant in the center of Moncalvo. Inside the rooms are a bit small and outside you are right on the street. The food is excellent! The Fassona meat is exceptional! The service is very courteous, helpful and friendly. Medium-high prices. The Fassona tartare with parmesan flakes and artichokes is excellent!

10/05/2025: Simple and welcoming location, which reminds you of your grandmother's house when you were a child. The cook is a young girl who knows her stuff in terms of cooking and taste: she manages to range from a simple appetizer of Vitello Tonnato (absolutely worth trying), to an agnolotti in roast sauce with a very thin pasta that seems almost non-existent, to a burger with chips and noteworthy local meat. The wines are zero km thanks to the delicious bottles of the Goggiano winery located a few meters from the restaurant. I have yet to taste the pizza, but if this is the premise, I will definitely return 1000 more times:

29/05/2025: Right! This is the right place. Strong personality expressed with grace and discretion, splendid hand in the kitchen, by the book, meticulous care, exemplary dishes. And if this is not exclusive in a city that has a sublime and ancient relationship with food, here the naturalness without presumption with which perfect dishes are served is surprising.

Il locale era pieno ma il servizio è stato veloce.Eravamo seduti al tavolo davanti al forno ma si stava benissimo,ci sono più ventilatori che rendono fresco il locale.Complimenti allo staff e continuate cosi.A presto!

11/11/2024: Dietro ad un passaparola della Zocca emiliana siamo riusciti ad arrivare da Filippo! E che dire…la realtà è stata maggiore della immaginazione: i tajarin,il coniglio,la sua insalatina,la pesca caramellata bastano per inginocchiarsi davanti a questa eccellenza di chef che diventa una persona umile e normale quando passa al tavolo perché vuole sentire le critiche e magari anche due parole sul Blasco per poi dire, grazie di essere stati qui. Circa 310 km ci sono voluti per arrivare ma sicuramente a breve li rifaremo perché meritano la destinazione! Grazie Filippo di questo atelier di arte culinaria!

09/11/2024: Ein Herzlicher Empfang und eine freundliche Aufmerksamkeit den ganzen Abend lang. Wo unsere Italienisch Kenntnisse versiegten, half Filippo in besten Deutsch aus. Wir genossen Kaninchen vom Grill mit besonders zart knusprigen Röstkartoffeln dazu. Da an diesem Abend weniger Gäste da waren, wurde uns als Nachschlag das ganze verbleibende Kaninchen samt Beilagen angeboten welches wir, hungrig vom Radfahren begeistert annahmen. Ich fand dies das beste Essen auf unsrer 5 Tage Piemont Tour.

14/06/2025: Dopo una bella camminata dí Nordik walking una fermata non prevista alla Locanda del camino …. Ma che bella sorpresa! Piatti della tradizione ad ottimo livello e gentilezza. Non fatevi ingannare dall’aspetto esterno non particolarmente appariscente: dentro si mangia davvero bene!

10/06/2025: Per un passaggio casuale, anche se la zona l'avevamo già visitata, siamo entrati per uno spuntino. Cosa veramente gradita. Locale pulito, personale accogliente e gentile. Si può chiedere per un panino o per un toast, ma i profumi provenienti dalla cucina erano inebrianti. Così abbiamo consumato due secondi, un dolce, acqua e caffè. Strepitoso sia il guanciale che le polpette di pecora. Il tutto corredato di sughetto, purea ecc. Sublime. Consigliato assolutamente. Preferibilmente è gradita la prenotazione.

14/06/2025: Siamo stati per la prima volta all' Osteria San Martino per festeggiare il compleanno di mio marito. Abbiamo trascorso una serata meravigliosa. La location intima, accogliente e molto suggestiva con i suoi muri in pietra sita in un cortiletto di un piccolo borgo quasi di altri tempi. La signora Nadia perfetta padrona di casa con una gentilezza squisita accoglie i suoi clienti e contribuisce a far trascorrere loro un piacevole momento. La sua attenzione al cliente è notevole. Nei nostri confronti, per esempio, è stata stupenda: ci ha portato di sua iniziativa una piccola torta con una candelina per festeggiare il compleanno dopo aver spento le luci nella sala. Anche questi gesti contribuiscono a rendere un ristorante meritevole. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente. Materie prime di alta qualità cucinate con grande maestria. La tartare di fassona era davvero buonissima, molto gustosa nella sua semplicità mentre il filetto alla salsa di Nebbiolo aromatizzato al tartufo lo abbiamo trovato a dir poco squisito dal gusto deciso ma non coprente. Ottimi anche i dolci. La lista dei vini molto ricca e con vini di spessore. Prezzi nella norma per la tipologia di ristorante. Decisamente consigliato.
