05/04/2026: Easter lunch with my wife. The restaurant is downtown, so it's a great spot for a post-lunch or dinner stroll. The outdoor seating area where we ate is comfortable, but not the best—a bit chaotic. Very welcoming with excellent service. The waiter who looked after us and served us was knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered: - veal with tuna sauce and Fassona beef tartare - agnolotti del plin and tajiarin (I don't know if I spelled it correctly) with sausage ragù - sliced ​​Fassona beef - gianduiotto - two glasses of Barbera - a bottle of water The quality of the food is excellent; I highly recommend the veal with tuna sauce, the agnolotti del plin, and the gianduiotto. A small flaw—a hair on the plate (it can happen to anyone)—and they immediately changed our dish, offering us another dessert at the end: a mix of fried foods, a typical Easter dessert in that area. The wine list is excellent, and the Barbera we drank was delicious. It's a shame the Fassona beef was overcooked, in my opinion; it also didn't taste as piping hot as if it had just been cooked. Total cost: €120 (dessert included). What can I say? I recommend it for the dishes listed above and the service.

The buffet was rich and delicious. The first and second courses were perfect! The food was high-quality and delicious. Highly recommended!

We were served quickly, so we ate and made it to the theater on time. The restaurant is very elegant, clean, and the waiter was friendly. It's a true experience of authentic Piedmontese cuisine: excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and kind, welcoming staff who immediately make you feel at ease. The place was packed with locals, which I think is always one of the best signs when you're looking for a truly good restaurant, not just one geared toward tourists. What I particularly appreciated was that the restaurant didn't try to be too formal or pretentious. Instead, it focused on the important things: quality ingredients, generous portions, good service, and an atmosphere where people can truly relax and enjoy the evening. The atmosphere is casual yet refined, lively without being chaotic, with that authentic Italian energy that's hard to find elsewhere. I started with a fish appetizer from a seafood buffet that, from what I understand, changes daily based on the availability of the catch. Everything was very good and flavorful, and it was a great way to start the dinner. I then continued with an excellent pizza: simple, tasty, well-made, and truly satisfying. Overall, it was one of my favorite dining experiences since arriving in Ivrea. Good food, authentic character, pleasant staff, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than expected. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience in the area.

27/04/2026: I went there for a business dinner with my colleagues. It was such a positive surprise! It is located in ordinary-looking farmhouse, but don't let yourself be mislead. Interior is perfect both for relaxing evening and business meetings. Family ambience makes you feel like home but excellent cuisine and service makes you feel really special. Federico is a fantastic host, he describes all details of the meals also in English. He also recommended very good local wines. I appreciate the fact that they use local ingredients for all dishes. I will return there for sure!
