28/08/2024: Went to the bar for aperitif. Sensational service, great snacks and drinks overlooking the lake. Friendly and welcoming to non hotel guests. Would highly recommend.

28/08/2024: I visited only the restaurant and the terrace. But since the first moment the hostess made us feel welcome. The attention was nice and friendly, we ordered drinks meanwhile we waited for the table and they gave us complementary snacks too. The view of the restaurant is so nice, everything fit perfectly… the ambiente, the music, the good service of the staff. The food was very delicious to complement the perfect scene. We had an excellent time.

20/09/2024: Really nice, cozy place. Family owned. Food came out hot and delicious. Steak cooked perfect, ravioli had excellent texture. But save room for dessert, tiramisu or cheese cake, both outstanding. NOTE: Make a reservation TY Monamour

19/09/2024: The waiters are kind and nice. It’s normally priced. The dishes are NOT great. Cacio Peppe was flowing with cheese and the pasta was NOT great.

17/10/2024: La terrazza è splendida, ma solo nella bella stagione perché a ottobre non si può cenare fuori: fa troppo freddo! abbiamo cenato il 12 all'interno, in mezzo a correnti d'aria con tutte le porte finestre spalancate, perché alcuni turisti americani cenavano imperterriti sulla terrazza con il cappello di lana. Il cibo e i piatti erano freddi, persino la zuppa di zucca, presa per riscaldarci era appena appena tiepida. Il pesce persico adagiato su un puré di patate (colloso, probabilmente in bustina) sembrava crudo e non sapeva di niente. Un'esperienza da dimenticare.

23/10/2024: I didn’t even stay there because I was in another city. But they helped me and my wife find a taxi when we had problems with the boat. Overall, very kind staff in an excellent location.

20/08/2024: A little bit overpriced for breakfast but for some it may totally be worth it because it is buffet and the quality of food was really good. Loved the views.

30/08/2024: Was on two weeks vacation to Italy and this was the worst hotel experience. Paid €600+ for a lake view room but got a view where I had to look out the window and look to the left. The room was small and the floor of the bathroom didn’t meet the main room. It was hazardous and I tripped multiple times (especially middle of the night). There was a wedding going on. So we were blocked off using several facilities including the bar and didn’t get to enjoy the view we paid for. We were told to go to the sister hotel. But that’s an inconvenience and not the same experience. And then the wedding party. It was so loud. I had to call the front desk and complain. Yet it continued through the middle of the night with loud band music. This is not a good experience at all for the money I’ve spent for one night. I regret this and will not recommend staying at this place. You rather stay somewhere else and just come see the garden they have for €20.

10/11/2024: Hotel with everything you need in Varenna, location, service, accommodation, breakfast. Reception staff very attentive and professional. We will be back.

07/10/2024: In passato si mangiava bene. E la terrazza è la più bella di Varenna. Ora, non accettano prenotazioni e propongono un meno fisso male assortito. Risultato: alle ore 13 il ristorante era vuoto e in paese era invece difficile trovare posto.

30/09/2024: E' un piccolo ristorante con una interessante terrazza affacciata sul lago, dove si riesce a pranzare tranquilli. Menu' fisso di 3 portate, il primo (pasta alla carbonara) da migliorare (troppo uovo, molto "turistico"). Prezzi un po' alti, soprattutto per il vino, ma nel complesso nella media. Servizio premuroso e gentile.

12/08/2024: This is a lovely lunch spot with an amazing view of the lake. They offer a range of options including paninis, wraps, salads and bruschetta. All of the food was very nice and freshly made. They have vegetarian options to choose from as well. It is quite popular so we had to queue however the queue moved fairly quickly. The service was also efficient and friendly.

09/08/2024: Restaurant situé au centre de Varenna, avec vue sur le lac, les serveurs sont adorables et les plats sont très bons à un prix très raisonnable, cela vaut la peine d’attendre.

24/11/2024: Highly recommended place. Excellent tonnarelli carbonara and pizza of the day, fast service and lake view. Fair prices for the location, especially when compared to nearby places. If we are passing through we will return.

02/11/2024: Lots of people. Impossible to sit down, plastic glass and out on the street after having paid €7 for each beer and without being able to enter the only bathroom because of the endless queue.

29/08/2024: Magnificent place, spectacularly good pizzas, excellent service, super friendly and attentive people, service 10. Wonderful views. In short, people, views, price and great food. I recommend that you visit it 100%

03/07/2024: We didn't have a chance to try the food because we were asked to leave because of the dog. We have a medium-sized dog and she was polite, but the staff said that customers of a "different culture" were afraid of the dog 🤦‍♀️
