05/05/2026: I declare this the best meal I've had in 2026! Both the noodles and the lasagna were incredibly delicious. The chicken was tasty, but the meat was a bit dry, so it wasn't great. However, all the other dishes were excellent!! Highly recommended! Also, the staff here were all super nice, incredibly attentive, and had exceptionally good service attitudes. They were very attentive, making for a fantastic experience. Sorry, we stayed until the very last table because of our anniversary, haha, making them get off work a little late~🥹🥹 Overall, although it's far from me, I'll definitely go back to eat here again! I hope they don't change the chef! And don't change the staff either! Ha ha ha ha Dichiaro che questo è il pasto PIù buono che ho mangiato nel 2026. Sia questa ciotola di pasta che la lasagna sono davvero deliziose. Il pollo ha un sapore buono, ma la carne è troppo asciutta, quindi non è granché. Però tutti gli altri piatti sono squisiti!! Lo consiglio vivamente. Inoltre, tutti i camerieri qui sono fantastici: hanno un grande senso del servizio, un atteggiamento gentilissimo and sono molto attenti, per cui l’esperienza è stata meravigliosa. Mi scuso un po’ perché siamo rimasti gli ultimi al Tavolo per festeggiare il nostro anniversario, facendo finire il lavoro un po’ più tardi a tutti～🥹🥹 Nel complesso, anche se è molto lontano da casa mia, ci tornerò apposta per mangiare qui! Spero che non cambino lo chef! E nemmeno i camerieri! Hahahaha

21/04/2026: We went there for lunch on the first day, dinner on the second, and it was so good we wanted to return for the third day but it was closed then. I absolutely loved the catch of the day and my husband had the lamb that was so tender and delicious. If you sit on the terrace, the view is amazing too. Service was exceptional!

19/04/2026: Everything was great, the service was friendly, and the quality was excellent. A small point: the outside stairs are not accessible to people with disabilities. I don't know if there's another dedicated entrance.

08/05/2026: A fantastic culinary experience in the heart of Varenna! We had a wonderful time at this intimate and authentic restaurant. The lasagna was delicious, and my wife's daily special was equally exquisite. High-quality cuisine and attentive service. A must-visit if you're looking for homemade food away from the crowds. We highly recommend it!

22/04/2026: Had a wonderful lunch at Osteria Quatro Pass. The Tagliatellle and Ombrina were both excellent—fresh, authentic, and beautifully prepared. We also appreciated the great service and the Verdure side was a perfect addition. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality meal in a lovely setting!

21/04/2026: Lovely restaurant with attentive staff. The selection was lovely! Typical dishes of the lake region which were elevated and cooked to perfection! Overall, excellent meal! We will return again this evening!!

14/05/2026: Wonderful hotel in the sweet spot of Lake Como: Varenna. Sure it’s pricey; sure the rooms are small (welcome to Europe!) but the location can’t be beat. The staff are excellent. The breakfast was on point for a 4-star hotel. We were able to have our private boat pick us up at their dock. We will be back!

13/05/2026: Exquisite service and exception cuisine! We had dinner in the Victoria Grill courtyard "greenhouse" last March, just before the season officially began. We shared several appetizers, the salmon and other dishes that were expertly prepared and simply delicious. I cannot wait to return! Also, the next afternoon, Paula and Mauro were kind enough to box up some desserts for our journey to Milan - the baba is a must try! The service combined with the exceptional food quality makes the Royal Victoria Grill a destination!

16/03/2026: We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Royal Victoria in Varenna and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Como. From the moment we arrived everything felt welcoming and effortless. The hotel arranged to pick us up from the train station which made arriving in Varenna so easy after traveling. It was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the level of service we experienced during our stay. When it was time for us to leave they also dropped us back off at the station which we really appreciated. We stayed in room 104 and the room was absolutely beautiful. It had that classic Lake Como charm but still felt very comfortable and elegant. The room was spotless and peaceful and it was the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed when you walk in. The hotel itself is stunning and being right on the lake makes it feel like a truly special place to stay. Breakfast each morning was fantastic with a great variety of fresh food and excellent coffee. Sitting there with views of Lake Como was the perfect way to start the day. What stood out the most though was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Federica from the concierge team. She helped get everything set up before we even arrived and gave us great restaurant recommendations while we were there. Having someone so helpful made a big difference for our trip. The location of the hotel is perfect and Varenna itself was an incredible place to stay. It made the whole Lake Como experience feel even more special. We will definitely be back if we ever return to Lake Como. Staying here is absolutely worth it compared to staying at a larger chain hotel in Como. The charm, service, and overall experience made this a truly memorable stay.
