A great cafe with amazing views of the lake! We stopped here for some food and coffee and it didn’t disappoint. We got the carbonara and lasagna and both were delicious. We did notice in the menu they were labeled as “frozen ready meals” which I’m not sure if that means they are premade and heat them up? But the food was still really good so we didn’t mind. Also got this green tea and pistachio ice cream combo which was good but a little overpriced ( 10€ ). All in all though a great place to rest and enjoy the views!

A superb location in the heart of Varenna, right next to the lake, with a splendid view; good, straightforward food; good drinks; good prices. But what made it special for me was the excellent, friendly, attentive service. I ate there twice; each visit was delightful.

Pasticceria Su Misura

23/02/2024: I passed by this very nice pastry shop in the early afternoon today. I got two flames (one white and one dark) and two mini Sachers. Everything was delicious, hats off especially to the Sachers, truly incredible, I recommend everyone to try them, it's worth it! The person who welcomed me was very kind, it is worth the visit!

02/04/2024: We had risotto with apple, leek and taleggio, very good and al dente, and a tasty meatloaf filled with vegetables and chicken. The outdoor tables have an amazing view! The lady who served us is very kind!
13/01/2024: La giornata d’inverno era così bella ed il sole così piacevole che abbiamo pranzato ai tavoli della bella area esterna della trattoria, affacciata a sud e quindi verso la pianura. La trattoria si trova infatti a Campsirago (Colle Brianza, LC), minuscolo, ma bel borgo su una delle colline che chiudono a nord la Brianza. Per due antipasti misti (affettati misti – buoni, ma nulla di che,piccoli assaggi di tre formaggi e patate, carote e cipolle in padella), due polente (normali) con funghi trifolati (buoni), una bottiglia d’acqua minerale, mezzo litro di vino locale della casa (buono) e due caffè abbiamo speso 72 euro, cifra che trovo francamente eccessiva, specie in un locale certamente non sofisticato, con tovagliolo di stoffa, ma tovaglietta di carta. Conto, ho poi realizzato, senza alcun estremo fiscale. Servizio rustico, ma gentile.
