27/04/2025: An absolute shame disguised as “haute gastronomy”. This restaurant is the perfect embodiment of armed robbery under the guise of pretension. For an astronomical price, you are served plates of abysmal sadness: three crumbs fighting a duel, lost in a ridiculous setting. At that price, I hoped at least to leave satisfied, or failing that amazed: I left hungry, frustrated and furious. In short: a pretentious tourist trap for snobbish selfie lovers. Absolutely avoid if you respect your money, your stomach and your dignity.

13/04/2025: My booking was cancelled just a couple of days before arrival. I had paid in full. Really messed up my travel plans. And then I saw the hotel is shut down. I hope I get my money back.

18/05/2025: The review concerns the restaurant only. It is located in Pescallo, a village of Bellagio. From Bellagio you take Salita Cappuccini and in a few minutes you arrive in this splendid and picturesque village. Asked to have lunch outside. Perfect location. The outside of the restaurant is practically on Lake Como. Chosen as an appetizer an octopus in a crust that was nothing short of excellent. I cannot write the same judgment for the risotto with perch: good, but not more, the perch.. barely adequate risotto and curry sauce, separate from the dish, which in my opinion did not fit very well. Good choice of wines, I took a glass of white wine. I would avoid the coffee. For what was described I spent 64 euros per person.. a cost that I can accept for the location, service and appetizer.. I would have fully agreed if the risotto with perch had been better. 4 stars, would be 3½, affected by the risotto. Recommended

17/09/2024: Friendly host and good avaialbilities of tables to have dinner spontaneously. Sadly the pasta was not acceptable at all. Chef proposed to try out newly created dishes which were far away from good. I will not go there a second time.

03/08/2024: We waited 35 minutes to receive the appetizers (including the invitation not to order the missoltini). After 35 minutes the starters arrive and after just 5 minutes the first courses too. By the time we finished the appetizers and first courses we ate them cold. Zero apologies or desire to solve the obvious problem. I will never return.
