Osteria Al Gallo In Salò

I recommend the restaurant Osteria Al Gallo. We accidentally stopped in for dinner and were delighted with the Italian atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was cheerful and smiling. The dinner was simply amazing!

The food was absolutely fantastic and we felt very comfortable! It's especially great how dog-friendly it is – perfect if you're traveling with your four-legged friend. 🐾 A little tip for anyone planning to sit outside: depending on the time of day, the mosquitoes can be a bit bothersome, so it's best to pack some mosquito repellent. Otherwise, highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!

The dishes are well-presented and generously portioned. Very good food. Excellent price.

A hidden gem in Salò! A very cozy and secluded restaurant. The garden with its overgrown, sun-shadeded dining tables is a dream – exactly what we love. There's plenty of space and even a play area for children. We went on a Friday and made a reservation just to be safe. But at 6:30 pm, we were the only ones there. It filled up a bit after that. With these temperatures, it seems they only really get going later. The service was very friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to accommodate our daughter's allergies! The food was really good, but my filled dumplings were swimming in butter. They were delicious, but the excess butter was wasted; half a stick less would have been enough. My wife had a pizza, which was also tasty, but had way too much cheese, even for me ;-) My sea bass fillet was fantastic, and my daughter loved her spaghetti with ragu. We'll definitely be back, even if the journey there and back is quite an adventure.

We had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and casoncelli in butter, followed by horse fillet on arugula and the mixed grill platter with roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious with excellent service. We'd gladly come again!

A beautiful osteria with an outdoor garden and pergola. Excellent cuisine and impeccable service. Excellent value.

On the way back, we stopped at Osteria al Gallo. The food was delicious and inexpensive.

Excellent trattoria with excellent food and super-friendly staff. The outdoor setting is quaint and, in my opinion, very comfortable, with tables set under a pergola and well-spaced. Generous portions at a price I'd say is reasonable for the Salò area. A must-visit for anyone in the area!
