Jumping restaurant In Milano

GiGi pizza, mixed salad, and coffee. It was delicious, but it was a bit disappointing that the staff showed a blatantly rude attitude because two of us ordered one pizza. Since we couldn't even finish the whole pizza and left some behind, we couldn't order any more food. It would have been a memorable dining experience if we had been able to order more.

A spectacular, genuine, and authentic restaurant. Incredible service from the entire team. Friendly, attentive, and professional waiters. They make you feel right at home. The restaurant is well-air-conditioned with background music of Frank Sinatra classics that complements the ambiance without being intrusive. Delicious traditional food. We've been back three days in a row! A highlight was the cottoleta alla milanese (a very thin pork cutlet served with a salad). We also tried pizzas, cannelloni, and a grilled Tuscan ribeye steak (Florentine) recommended by one of the waiters (thank you so much!). And the desserts… that's another story altogether… an amazing lemon sorbet and tiramisu. A unique and highly recommended experience. Congratulations to the chefs. If you're in Milan and want to try authentic Risotto alla Milanese with Ossobuco, Ristorante Da Gigi is a must-visit. The food is comforting and beautifully executed. The meat was extremely tender, falling off the bone, and the risotto had that impeccable touch of saffron. Pleasant atmosphere and efficient service. Worth every penny!

Very good food! Amazing Milanese

It was a pizzeria close to my hotel. I went there and ordered a calzone and a glass of white wine. I did not really enjoy the calzone, but that was my fault because it was filled with cheese, and I usually prefer pizza with tomato sauce. So I take responsibility for that. The main problem was the wine. Before the food arrived, I tasted it, and it had a very strange flavor, almost like prosciutto. I believe the glass may not have been washed properly, which affected the taste of the wine. I recommend that the restaurant pay more attention to washing the glasses carefully.
