06/02/2026: Ottone Primo is undoubtedly one of Sarzana's most popular restaurants, located under the arcades of the central Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. My wife and I dined here, sampling some excellent seafood. However, the hefty final bill certainly didn't enhance the experience. For the price of €160, with a €27 bottle of wine (two appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert), one might expect a touch more flair in the service or the dishes. Alas, this wasn't the case. I'd like to point out that the dinner went off without any particular problems (perhaps the seafood carbonara was a bit bland), but justifying and being enthusiastic after spending that much is a difficult task.

We were blown away on our very first visit – the food is divine, every single dish prepared with such love and finesse that you'll never want to eat anywhere else. The atmosphere is simply dreamy: candlelight, white tablecloths, soft music, and in summer, dinner under the fig tree – it couldn't be more romantic.
The staff is exceptionally warm and attentive without being intrusive. You immediately feel welcome and cared for. A particularly lovely touch: the daily changing menu is lovingly handwritten, and the hosts are happy to help with the translation and selection.
A truly soulful restaurant that you'll never forget. We'll definitely be back – and we'll bring friends! Grazie mille

24/01/2026: Excellent dinner. We ordered the mixed appetizers for two, and we ended up with 12 truly delicious appetizer courses. The tuna steak was excellent, with the freshest fish! The squid ink tagliatelle wasn't the best, but everything else was excellent!
Excellent service and a very varied and quality wine list! Highly recommended.
21/10/2025: Beautifully situated on the water, it's incredibly cozy when it gets dark and the lights in the bay come on. The food was good, but nothing more to say. Service is prompt but not entirely up to par with the rules of gastronomy.

The terrace setting is idyllic. It's easy to understand and feel that this is a generous meal prepared by passionate people whose goal is to showcase local produce. The meal was divine, as was the service.
A must-do if you're near Cinque Terre, rather than heading to a tourist trap.
