07/05/2025: A superb, unexpected evening! We had a blast! Delicious dishes, especially the pumpkin tagliatelle & gnochiete! This little restaurant is much better than those in the city center, real homemade and tasty cuisine. The server was adorable and gave good advice. I highly recommend this restaurant!

29/06/2025: I'm sorry to leave this review as a regular customer for years, but I was really shocked and disappointed by the last experience. We waited for the pizzas for over 50 minutes, in a windowless room, full of people, with only 1 Penguin for everyone... it was at least 35 degrees. I was with two elderly people, and two little girls. It was difficult to leave and find another place to have dinner at that time on a Saturday. Despite the obvious inconvenience, they never asked us how it went, not even at the cashier. It's already not a particularly cheap pizzeria, plus this time we consumed at least double the drinks to counteract the heat while waiting. But they didn't even offer us anything, like a round of drinks, or a house liqueur, or a coffee, as a gesture to apologize for the inconvenience. Not even a free "sorry". These things happen, for goodness sake, but the customer should be compensated. Instead we were totally ignored, as if everything was normal, even though the waitresses themselves, poor things, exhausted by the heat and in a bad mood, entered the room fanning themselves with the menu and banging the hot plates on the table as it happened. The pizza was good, for goodness sake, but there are so many good pizzerias... you don't behave like that with customers, especially regular customers. Mattatoio victim of its own success... the experience was so bad that, even after so many years, I will never return.

15/06/2025: We were here on Saturday, we were 4 couples of friends, very good pizza and the girls were very kind and attentive, being Saturday there was a bit of a wait perhaps due to the fact that the place was full, in my opinion it is synonymous with guarantee, also the spectacular and abundant desserts... 04/07/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in the world. The food is amazing, the service is spectacular, the staff and owners are amazingly friendly, and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. In addition, the menu includes English, and Stefania, owner/waitress, speaks it at an almost native level. The restaurant is always busy, but they seem to always find an available table, although advance reservations are strongly recommended on weekends. Everything on the menu is homemade, from the home cured anchovies to the pesto, and of course the wide, creative and varying weekly array of ravioli - a house specialty. On any given day one can find on the menu around 3 seafood based ravioli dishes, 3 meat based ravioli dishes, as well as vegetarian ravioli dishes. Personally, I also love the simple side dish of grilled vegetables, which is simple delicious!

14/06/2025: Everything was perfect: excellent food, nice atmosphere with tables in the middle of the streets of the historic center, very friendly and also quite fast service. Even the price is right in relation to what we ate. The paccheri with sea bream sauce or the pasta triangles with pachino tomatoes are highly recommended. Top

09/06/2025: Everything was very delicious and the portions were in proper portions. I had a doubt about the calamari since i dont like oily food but it was just so right. The dish is not so oily, thin layer of flour, the combine of selected vegetables just go so well with squid. Friendly and attentive service, plus the beautiful water fountain, definitely will visit again it im in the area

06/07/2025: Nice hotel with a good restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early, and they were flexible enough to let us check in ahead of time. In the evening, we had a delicious pizza and pinsa. Would definitely recommend!

21/06/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal—but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well—it just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.

21/05/2025: Petit lieu très agréable lors de douces soirées pour un moment de quiétude. Le choix des vins est très bon. De petits plats ou en-cas sont proposés.

07/04/2025: Notre coup de coeur , 5 jours 5 apéros sur place , deux dames fantastiques et adorables , une vue mer avec le soleil qui tappe en fin de journée et tout cela au calme , merci mesdames !!! Un accros du negroni et de l'aperol limon 🥃🤣

14/06/2025: I was here for dinner. The tavern is located in La Serra, a really cute village. The view you can enjoy from the outside tables is really enchanting. The service and the food are the same. I will definitely be back!

20/07/2025: I salumi sono buoni con delle frittelle con fiori di zucca un po’ impregnate di olio. Molto buoni i ravioli fatti in casa ripieni di carne con aromi e conditi con ragù. Buona la carne e centrata la cottura richiesta. In parte i dolci sono fatti in casa. Prezzo qualità onesto

17/07/2025: the ravioli are exquisite, the stockfish and the sirloin with gorgonzola are both excellent. the staff is competent and very friendly. I add the fried mushrooms. Also the stuffed muscles.

Bello il luogo, favolosa la vista e cena all’altezza della prima impressione. Eccellenti gli antipasti. Ottimi i primi e i secondi, ottima l’accoglienza . Ottimo anche il prezzo, sopratutto se rapportato al luogo e alla qualità del servito. Bravi, torneremo sicuramente

17/07/2025: We were told that the hotel philosophy was: "why should we make the room decor pretty when we can make it ugly?" In that respect, they have been very successful. Hotel Cristallo wins my vote for the "ugliest hotel rooms in Italy" category.

05/07/2025: No, it was supposed to be bruschetta with tomatoes, and the tagliolini was tagliatelle, but it was good. The chicken could definitely be better, but the quality wasn't up to par. The ratatouille was dry; the pictures say it all. You'd be better off spending €10 more and buying it somewhere else.
