09/08/2025: Best food I’ve tasted in this region. Beautifully plated and delicate flavours. All staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Very good value for money and excellent wine selection. Definitely recommend for a place to eat in La Spezia!

08/08/2025: Located on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic center. We were warmly welcomed and then seated inside as requested. The menu is accessible via a QR code placed on the table. We ordered a trio of raw seafood dishes, including scampi with passion fruit, tuna tartare, and salmon tartare. Three fresh flavors that take you straight to the sea. Accompanied by acidic notes, they were the perfect pairing. To follow, we ordered fusillone with citrus pesto and fresh tuna. Flavorful to perfection, the citrus and tuna combination truly excellent. And seafood linguine. Excellent cooking and flavor, the creamy sauce was slightly runny, but not so good that it wasn't good. The bold flavors and fresh tastes allowed us to fully appreciate the love they put into preparing their dishes and selecting the ingredients.

04/09/2025: Everything was perfect. The dishes were delicious: grilled octopus, poached octopus, rabbit... We were wonderfully served by Loré, who recommended her favorite dessert: amaretto and chocolate semifreddo, absolutely delicious, and we succumbed to the other desserts which did not disappoint!

07/07/2025: We discovered a real corner of Italy right here! The food is absolutely delicious – the dishes are authentic, well-cooked and full of flavor. Fresh pasta, thin and crispy pizza, balanced sauces – everything seems prepared with passion and attention to detail. The service was impeccable: the staff was kind, attentive and always with a smile on their faces. They made us feel like honored guests. The waiting time was minimal, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. And the most surprising part? The prices! Very good, especially compared to the quality offered. You rarely find such a good balance between taste, service and costs. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine!

06/07/2025: Absolutely amazing dinner in La spezia, one of the best meals we had whilst we were here on holidays. The owner even gave us a taste of Sicilian dessert wine (for free) which was amazing. Very friendly service, the pasta was amazing, definitely recommend!

13/08/2025: Go for it! Great restaurant. Friendly and welcoming owner! I recommend the gorgonzola pasta and their tiramisu to die for.

09/08/2025: What more can we say than to use the word... extraordinary! ... A typical, local trattoria with perfectly high-quality products. The starter was homemade linguine, and it's true, it was to die for. The gorgonzola/pistachio sauce was delicious. My partner enjoyed a beef carpaccio with truffles. ... the word "delight" isn't strong enough. For the second course, the baked sausage was delicious and the beef was of high quality. And let's not even talk about dessert... I'm still salivating! An ice cream of incredible creaminess. A very pleasant bottle of white wine from the Cinque Terre. We let the owner choose, and it was unrivaled value for money. And above all, the grappa with its hazelnut flavors is the best we've ever had, and yet... we're both fans and connoisseurs of this spirit. And to top it all off, we became friends with the owners at closing time, and the house offered us a limoncello made on site... a delight that makes us never want to drink this unparalleled nectar anywhere else. In short, the best discovery of our stay. If we ever come back within 200 kilometers, the detour will be a must!!! Highly recommended. 17/08/2025: Dearest owner of Tortuga It pains me to write to you because, every time we come to Liguria, our first thought is to come to you for your wonderful raw fish and the special view. What we experienced last night, however, left us very disappointed. When you came to order and listed the "off-menu" dishes, my companion was jokingly taken aback for a moment because he had actually chosen the first course that wasn't there. And instead of being joking, you dropped a terrible sentence: "If I take away Claudio's spaghetti, I risk closing the restaurant; if I take away another dish, I'll just lose a few customers." Excuse me: but why would you say that? Meanwhile, no one asked for an excuse, since we were joking, but above all, we felt like we were really in the way. When you hand out the menus at the beginning, you simply state which dishes were being replaced without further comment, so the person knows and it's already over. There was certainly no need for such a dig. Then your colleague arrives with the prosecco: He opens it and, without asking who tastes, pours it to my companion without the slightest consideration for the other two diners. But okay...ok. The worst part was refilling his glass first, then mine, and then the other person's. Etiquette dictates something else, however...: women first. The thing that led me to write to you, because the rest could have been overlooked by simply not coming, was hearing you whistling all evening when you arrived at the tables and even while you were serving people their food. Whistling in a work environment is synonymous with rudeness and a truly unprofessional attitude. It's as if I, while giving a massage to one of my clients, I whistle a song There's a time and a time Ambience and atmosphere And considering the level of your restaurant, both in terms of cost and quality of ingredients, the service cannot and should not be less. I'm so sorry, but we won't be coming again. I gave the location and the food almost top marks, but often, the service is what makes a stay more enjoyable and pleasant than anything else.

17/08/2025: We found this place by chance online, and I have to say there's absolutely nothing to complain about; in fact, it more than met our expectations! Great service, excellent local cuisine! 07/08/2025: A simply unforgettable moment. We had the best meal of our lives here. The setting is absolutely enchanting: dining with our feet in the sand, facing the sea, with a breathtaking view... The service was impeccable, combining kindness, attention and great professionalism. As for the cuisine, it is simply exceptional: tasty, refined dishes, not to mention the more than affordable prices... Thank you for this magical moment!

05/08/2025: It's a fantastic experience here. You can eat right on the beach. The food is delicious. We ate right on the beach twice and ordered takeout once during our four-day stay. No matter what we ordered, everything was delicious. And the prices are incredibly reasonable for the food. The staff are also very nice and friendly. It's a real insider tip.

24/07/2025: Ottima cena di pesce in una bella location in riva al mare. Ci hanno accolto con un prosecco e una focaccia di benvenuto. Abbiamo preso un polpo con le patate e una tartare di tonno come antipasti, entrambi ottimi. Come secondo ci siamo fatti consigliare un pescato del giorno, dentice al sale con patate anch’esso eccellente. Dolce e caffè a concludere al cena, abbinata a un ottimo vermentino. Davvero nulla da dire, assolutamente consigliato

21/08/2025: The wait was a bit long but it was worth it, the quality was excellent, the pork ribs melted in your mouth and the stuffed mussels were wonderful. My only complaint was that the reservations were a bit confusing and I would recommend keeping local house wines. I would still recommend it.

02/08/2025: Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker! Wir waren spontan mit 6 Personen da und es war zum Glück noch ein Tisch frei. Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr sympathisch und nett. Für 6 Personen mit Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen haben wir wirklich nicht viel bezahlt! Kann dieses Lokal wirklich sehr empfehlen! Da es aber sonst sehr voll ist, sollte man vorher lieber reservieren.

28/07/2025: It's been years since I've been here, but I've always heard good things about it. We had a Paciugo and a Tanta roba... really good! Excellent dough and a nice, thin, filling pizza. Two excellent pizzas, beer, Coke, and coffee for only €32 including service. 🍕🔝

03/09/2025: Dinner for 4 on Saturday, August 23rd. I come to this wonderful place as soon as I can. Margherita and her sisters is my choice, my place. I've been going here for years; it used to be a renowned restaurant. The pizzas are unbeatable, the only ones that don't leave me feeling bloated the next day. The high quality of the food offered isn't the only reason Margherita remains my favorite place. The owner, Barbara, is fantastic, very attentive to everything, and remembers all her loyal customers. The location is well-kept, the atmosphere intimate. Outdoors in the summer is great because you'll get good food, cool air, and no mosquitoes... yes, they've even thought about keeping those pesky insects away naturally. The well-kept garden, the lights, and the view are wonderful. In winter, you'll still find a warm atmosphere. The interior is also well-maintained and decorated in a very personal, unpretentious way. I read that some customers complain about prices that aren't in line with other pizzerias, but Margherita and her sisters are reductive in calling it a pizzeria; it's much more. It's choosing to eat a quality pizza, hard to compare to other pizzas, in a unique location. In an intimate atmosphere with a view of the city, You're welcomed by friendly staff, always available to answer any questions. Try the steamed pizzas. The desserts are also delicious. I had the Coppa d'Oro, chocolate meringues and black cherries, served in a large square glass bowl. Excellent! Thanks, Barbara, thank you, staff. We were a 10, as always.
