07/03/2026: My boyfriend and I ate here today after visiting the Genoa Aquarium. It was around 2:00 PM, so quite late for lunch, but they seated us without any problem, which we appreciated. The place is clearly very touristy, given its location right on the harbor and across from the city's main attraction, so we weren't expecting the highest quality ingredients. I had trofie with pesto, which, for my taste, was a bit too rich. My boyfriend instead chose grilled fish: you could tell the ingredients were frozen, but overall it was average and still good. Unfortunately, the dessert was quite "chemical" and the coffee wasn't the best either. We spent €54 for two: two covers, a water, a main dish each, a dessert, and a coffee. For being on the harbor of Genoa, right across from the aquarium, I'd say it's a more than fair price.

07/01/2026: We'd seen the restaurant on a TV show and were impressed by the Mandilli de Sea, so we took advantage of a cruise stop to try it. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area of ​​Genoa, just steps from Columbus's house. Tastefully decorated, the service was professional and quite prompt for a weekday lunch during the Christmas holidays. We ate probably the best Genoese pesto we've ever had. The mandilli are highly recommended! The price is reasonable for the quality of the ingredients.

20/12/2025: Welcoming place, very helpful and friendly owner who went out of her way to find a table for me despite being fully booked!!! Fabulous pesto, even with the homemade pasta! Pork fillet was perhaps a little overcooked. I recommend it for its traditional cuisine and friendly service! Excellent value for money.

19/11/2025: Excellent excellent pizzeria. Order 3 pizzas, cinque stagione, paesana & maiala & wine, which all went down incredibly well. (And only €36). The stagione & paesana were stand outs. Beautifully flavoured, olives & artichokes adding the salt, peppers & onions tasting sweet. The salami & ham you could tell was of good quality. They also bought over olive & chilli oil. I had a good old research on places to eat before heading out & I thought this place, from the pictures looked like a glorified takeaway joint… Far from it upon arrival. Spacious, clean, well lit, so we changed our minds from another eatery I had earmarked & went on in! … Walked out not regretting a thing!… And satisfactorily stuffed! Thank you ever so much folks. 07/03/2026: Personally, I consider it one of the best seafood restaurants in Arenzano. I've never been disappointed. The fish is fresh, beautifully presented, and the service is excellent. Eating outside on a beautiful day is priceless.

10/07/2025: Terrible. Just terrible! 2-hour wait for food!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food arrived cold! I didn't even eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the pesto bread! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. This place is simply disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star is just for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant I've ever been to.

28/02/2026: Horrible!! I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but this place... Not a single smile... terrible noise... not to mention the door slamming every 10 seconds... and a kitchen that's far from fantastic... avoid it at all costs!!!

19/01/2026: I don't know if I'd recommend it... the food was good but nothing exceptional, and for the price we paid, the portions were tiny. For example, a mixed grill of fish with two scampi, two prawns, a piece of squid, and a fillet cost a whopping €35.00, and then a large dessert with a muffin cost €8.00, etc.

30/12/2025: The bruschetta and lasagna were delicious and freshly prepared. The bottle of white wine from Liguria is also highly recommended.

28/10/2025: We were there at 5:00 PM, many places were closed, but this one was open, they poured a generous amount of Aperol and the lasagna was not bad, my friends recommend it! ;)

19/12/2025: We hosted a pre-Christmas dinner with colleagues here, and it was a pleasure. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the staff courteous, and the cuisine was excellent and carefully prepared. I'll be back soon to try other recipes. Riccardo

12/12/2025: Absolutely to be avoided: trio of first courses: ravioli, pansotti, lasagna, all barely smeared with sauce...dry!! Scallops with artichokes: 2....saying two slices is an understatement seasoned with 4 miniature pieces of vinegared artichokes....It's the next day and I still have nausea and a rumbling stomach!! Too bad. I'll add, given your response..... first of all, I'm not any of the surnames that you shouldn't have written for privacy reasons. I arrived when there were already people sitting in the restaurant and we weren't rude at all, in fact very accommodating given that the trio advertised on the menu didn't specify that we all had to get the same thing. In any case, it's not a question of price, only of quality.

31/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful place! We’d like to thank the team for their warm hospitality and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The seafood was incredibly fresh, every dish was delicious, and the service was both friendly and fast. The restaurant is just a minute away from the apartment we were staying in — our only regret is finding this gem on the very last evening of our holiday! Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: Excellent dishes. Whether seafood, pizza, or the incredible spaghetti carbonara...simply fantastic! I'd love the recipe for the thick spaghetti. Very friendly service. We still managed to get a table despite the extremely busy crowd. Viva Liguria, viva Lavagna!!

04/11/2025: If you don't know it and you focus on its appearance, you wouldn't give it a damn. However, if you try to talk to the owner, you'll understand that he's a true connoisseur, capable of offering wines, spirits, cured meats, and a few dishes of unexpected quality. If you appreciate the '70s/'80s style and want to eat simple but quality food, but above all, if you appreciate good wine and good grappa (and more), I highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: A small trattoria in a narrow alley in the historic center. If you're looking for classic Genoese cuisine, you can't go wrong here. A no-frills atmosphere. Friendly service. Dishes to be savored, not admired.

20/02/2026: Personally, I wasn't thrilled. The food wasn't bad, but there wasn't a single dish that stood out to me, leaving a vivid, clear memory. Furthermore, the staff was a bit awkward (which is understandable; perhaps they were inexperienced).

05/03/2026: Restaurant and pizzeria located on the Chiavari seafront. A truly welcoming place. The entire staff is professional and friendly. The pizza is truly excellent. A must try.

16/12/2025: A place of memories that has done nothing to ruin them, on the contrary! And, besides, it remains one of the few authentic places in the eastern part of Genoa. Bravo!

30/11/2025: A quaint and historic restaurant in Santa Margherita. Delicious, hearty dishes. A wine list with a wide selection of both good and excellent labels. Recommended.
