Even if the service was not very fast but because there were new waiters and therefore in the initial phase, it is understandable that there were some problems but all in all we had a good time and a lot of kindness.

Excellent restaurant right in front of the aquarium, from the outside it looks like the classic tourist restaurant where the food is bad and instead the cuisine is excellent in fact we went there both for dinner and the next day for lunch

My boyfriend and I ate here today after visiting the Genoa Aquarium. It was around 2:00 PM, so quite late for lunch, but they seated us without any problem, which we appreciated.
The place is clearly very touristy, given its location right on the harbor and across from the city's main attraction, so we weren't expecting the highest quality ingredients. I had trofie with pesto, which, for my taste, was a bit too rich. My boyfriend instead chose grilled fish: you could tell the ingredients were frozen, but overall it was average and still good.
Unfortunately, the dessert was quite "chemical" and the coffee wasn't the best either.
We spent €54 for two: two covers, a water, a main dish each, a dessert, and a coffee. For being on the harbor of Genoa, right across from the aquarium, I'd say it's a more than fair price.

A fantastic experience at this authentic Genoese trattoria, where you can truly feel the Ligurian tradition. The ambiance is simple yet refined, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home.
The trofie al pesto was the true masterpiece of the evening. The fresh pasta was expertly made, soft yet firm, perfectly blended with a bold, natural-flavored pesto. The basil was incredibly fresh and fragrant, and the balance of parmesan, pecorino, pine nuts, and olive oil was simply impeccable. Not too salty, not too garlicky: just harmony and quality. You can clearly taste that the pesto is prepared according to tradition, probably using a mortar and pestle, as is typical of Genoese cuisine.
The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to offer professional but unobtrusive advice.

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. I can't say enough about the food, it was absolutely delicious, especially the trofie and the fried fish. The only thing that could be improved is the atmosphere, making it even more welcoming than it already is. I recommend everyone to go there ❤️
