17/04/2026: It was a wonderful surprise to find this seaside restaurant in San Fruttuoso with my family. We were served impeccably and courteously. We had tagliolini allo scoglio, fritto misto, and the grilled catch of the day. Tagliolini allo scoglio: plentiful, cooked to perfection, with plenty of seafood, smothered in a little sauce, where you could tell the seafood was cooked to perfection. Fritto misto: authentic, varied, not just squid and octopus, but also slipper lobster, red mullet, a bit of mixed seafood, and prawns, all served with a fresh salad. The grilled catch of the day was a beautiful Mediterranean sea bream, with a side dish, clearly cooked to order. We also found the coffee good! 05/04/2026: Fantastic experience in the heart of Genoa, just steps from Casa Colombo in the Ravecca area. An intimate and quaint restaurant, perfect for those seeking authentic Genoese cuisine. We tried the Mantilli with pesto (silk puree)—exceptional, homemade, and flavorful. The staff was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The price was fair for the high-quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

22/02/2026: A welcoming restaurant whose decor perfectly combines modernity with the atmosphere of a traditional Genoese trattoria. The menu features traditional Ligurian dishes and more; the quality of the ingredients is remarkable. The staff is professional and friendly, and the service is prompt and attentive.

19/08/2025: A small restaurant along the Aurelia road, near the Sestri train station. Tasty food, especially seafood, and excellent minestrone soup. Moderate prices.

01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.

24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 22/02/2026: This afternoon we stopped by for ice cream. The sales assistant was very kind, but there was one small detail I noticed: she had an earpiece in her ear, probably a phone. I looked at the other girls to see if they had one too, thinking maybe it was for communication. But they had nothing. Now I'm wondering, is it allowed to have earphones in an ice cream shop? Where's the professionalism? These are small details that unfortunately make all the difference in professionalism. I advise this girl not to use technology because it doesn't look good. Otherwise, the ice cream is excellent. I recommend it.

07/04/2026: After a long and tiring journey, on an extremely windy Genoese evening, with stomach cramps from hunger, we stopped by a pizza shop as a family and were disappointed in terms of both service speed and taste.

01/04/2026: We have waited more than an hour, then asked them where is the pizza. Then they pretended like it was taking long, but they talked in the kitchen that what happened to our pizza and why they forgot. Then still forgot one of the pizza we ordered! Then brought us a very below average pizza with pesto. The pesto tasted like it was from a supermarket. It tasted like a raw bread.

04/05/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance, located in a medieval building very close to the Cathedral. Manuel welcomed us even though we hadn't booked. The menu is varied and the wine list is impressive. The service is attentive and prompt, and it was nice to have a table overlooking the kitchen. The dishes are typical Genoese dishes made with high-quality ingredients.

03/05/2026: Well, what can I say? I booked the private table, nestled inside a real stone-walled well, to celebrate my girlfriend's engagement anniversary. (If you want to surprise your sweetheart, bring her here!) After a brandacujun entrée and homemade focaccia and bread, we ordered two first courses (typical of Genoa), a beef fillet with truffles (one of their specialties), and two desserts... I must say, everything was SUBLIME and delicious. Not to mention the professionalism and kindness of the staff, especially Samuele, who looked after us from the moment we stepped inside. If you want to dine in that magnificent setting, reservations are a must!

14/06/2025: Amazing dining experience! Went for lunch multiple days and stayed at the Eight hotel so were often patrons of the beach club as well. Bilal made our experience truly amazing though. He was attentive, friendly, respectful, funny, entertaining and truly the best server we have ever had, even at our home in the United States! We will always cherish the restaurant and beach club at 8 Paraggi because of Bilal. Best server and service ever. Our whole family loves him!
