07/03/2026: Overall, it was pleasant, but given the very high prices, some dishes could be executed with greater precision.
In each of my or my companions' dishes, there was something missing or excessive. I suggest greater attention or a recalculation of the prices. I must say the location is excellent.
22/02/2026: A delightful restaurant in the historic center, near the Piazza dei Palazzo dei Doria. As the name suggests, it's like a hidden "den" with a welcoming atmosphere. The entire staff is extremely kind and friendly.
Standing ovation for the mandilli al pesto, the gnocchetti, and the Fassona beef tartare. Highly recommended!
PS: Given the layout of the restaurant, it can get very hot; dress in layers.

01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.
24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 14/10/2025: I wouldn't have done it, I spend €83 on dinner and you charge me €1 for a leftover pizza (It was the tip for the guys, they settled for €2!) 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

22/02/2026: This afternoon we stopped by for ice cream. The sales assistant was very kind, but there was one small detail I noticed: she had an earpiece in her ear, probably a phone. I looked at the other girls to see if they had one too, thinking maybe it was for communication. But they had nothing. Now I'm wondering, is it allowed to have earphones in an ice cream shop? Where's the professionalism? These are small details that unfortunately make all the difference in professionalism. I advise this girl not to use technology because it doesn't look good. Otherwise, the ice cream is excellent. I recommend it.

22/01/2026: We ordered two pizzas and they were both almost completely raw, you could still taste the yeast and flour; after eating them we had to digest them all night... Not recommended!
21/01/2026: Good pizza, friendly staff and owner, the only thing is maybe a little more cleaning where you can see dust, otherwise the place is small and characteristic.

14/06/2025: Amazing dining experience! Went for lunch multiple days and stayed at the Eight hotel so were often patrons of the beach club as well. Bilal made our experience truly amazing though. He was attentive, friendly, respectful, funny, entertaining and truly the best server we have ever had, even at our home in the United States! We will always cherish the restaurant and beach club at 8 Paraggi because of Bilal. Best server and service ever. Our whole family loves him!

12/03/2026: We asked at very short notice - half an hour - for them to feed a school group of 31. There was no problem at all, the food was excellent, really well organised and tasted great. Morgana was so friendly and helpful to us. In face, it was so good that we cancelled what we had organised for the following night and went back.

01/01/2026: Not exactly an osteria, otherwise we'd get confused...and the prices don't add up. It's a wonderful restaurant where you can eat both meat and seafood. The dishes are beautifully presented (we're not in a Michelin-starred restaurant), and the ingredients seemed excellent. Price...a first course, second course, dessert, water, and wine by the glass are €45.
The place has its own personality, and in the spring/summer, dining al fresco must be very pleasant. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous.

08/12/2025: Very welcoming place, I preferred eating rather than taking photos of the dishes to fully enjoy the time they put into preparing the dish. Yes, to the untrained eye, it may seem like a long wait, but then you realize that every ingredient has been carefully crafted for a harmonious flavor that delights the palate from start to finish. I recommend the pistachio pesto pasta or, if you happen to have it, the carbonara. The menu isn't always repetitive but follows the seasons a bit; they don't have mushrooms all year round here. 👍🏻 Homemade desserts, now it's apple season, and apple pie is the best. Don't come in a rush, don't change the dishes to complain.
But take their advice and let them work. Enjoy your meal.

17/02/2026: Whenever I'm in Genoa visiting my son, I always return to this restaurant for its fantastic Ligurian food. This year, I found a lovely new waitress, and the service has even improved. The atmosphere is classic, like a local trattoria, very welcoming. Plus, it's in a great location. Highly recommended.
