27/10/2025: I would like to give more stars, but I can't. Two days after we had burger here with my friend we both have stomac pain and diarrhea.... Our worst experience in Italy. Avoid this place. Beer was better than food.

08/07/2025: Everything was great in Draft Pub ! It checks all the boxes. We were welcomed with a big smile, seated right away … the waiter took our order and the food arrived very quickly and well hot ! Maaaaaan the food was amaaaazing … I took Fish and Chips and my wife gnocchi pesto. It was so good that I took another plate, that arrived as quickly as the first ! Thanks to everyone in the Pub we had a great moment and for sure I’ll come back 🙏

24/10/2025: A very cozy restaurant with exceptional service. Located right by the sea. I highly recommend the pesto lasagna and stuffed tortellini with walnut sauce. The pesto with any pasta is delicious.

24/10/2025: Excellent Italian restaurant with wonderful flavors and friendly service. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the flavors were authentic and the place was very warm and attentive. One of the best we have tried!

16/11/2025: A little off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle of the harbor, we found this lovely little restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. We had the large appetizer platter, which was truly delicious and included some fantastic regional specialties. Afterward, we had the fish soup, also very good, and the spaghetti with clams. We also had a small bottle of Vermentino and water, and the bill, at around €100, was very reasonable. We'd gladly come back again.

09/11/2025: Homemade food, impeccable and friendly service, excellent homemade gnocchi. The Cinque Terre wine was very good.

06/12/2025: Today we had lunch at this restaurant and I'd say it was an unexpected surprise... all the dishes were fantastic. The risotto with Santa's red prawns was super.

10/11/2025: The Taverna del Marinaio restaurant is simply fantastic! The food is delicious, everything is fresh and prepared with love. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, perfect for a pleasant evening. The owner is truly kind and friendly—she made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

08/11/2025: Superb! This was a fabulous cafe stop for me- I was here for the day from our sailing yacht and it was my first time in Portofino. Superb service, great view to people watch in a nice atmosphere, and superb wine - the best Vermentino I’ve ever had! The waitresses kept bringing me crunchy snacks and nice cheeses as a hospitality offering - amazing touch! The food menu looked great, and I can’t wait to come back next year to sample it when I return! This was the perfect place for me to relax sipping wine and nibbling on snacks after my exhausting shopping in the boutiques ;-) , see you in September in 2026, ciao!!!

23/07/2025: Великолепный ресторан . Впервые побывали в нем в 2018 году , остались очень довольны. И вот вернулись снова . Были компанией . Обслуживание отличное . Блюда у всех были приготовлены вкусно , подача красивая, порции большие . Посещали как в обед , так и на ужин , все безупречно . Ценник приемлемый.

21/07/2025: Il ristorante è proprio sul Porto con possibilità di cenare all’interno o nello spazio esterno, servizio veloce e personale molto cortese e professionale. Abbiamo preso un fritto misto di pesce, veramente buono e abbondante Locale vivamente consigliato

10/11/2025: I returned to this restaurant for dinner last night, as always, when I treat myself to excellent fresh fish at reasonable prices; and as always, I was not disappointed. Each time I choose different dishes, so I can try them all. This time, my friends and I had as appetizers: The very fresh and tender octopus with potatoes, and a mixed seafood antipasto (a fascinating dish from this restaurant that I highly recommend), followed by spaghetti alla brezza marinara for the first course, stuffed squid for the second course, and finally, chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was truly delicious!

08/11/2025: We went for lunch today and were amazed by the excellent food. We'll be back tomorrow.

19/05/2025: Siamo ritornati a distanza di qualche anno e abbiamo ritrovato piacevolmente la stessa qualità e cortesia. Locale elegante con cucina piuttosto raffinata e ricercata, piatti non convenzionali con gusti davvero speciali. Ogni portata è una piacevole sensazione, crema di zucca con calamaro croccante davvero fantastica! Luogo assolutamente consigliato magari per festeggiare una ricorrenza e andare sul sicuro perché mangerete senza dubbio alla grande. Personale estremamente preparato, location top, del resto siete a Boccadasse, non serve dire nulla. Conto giusto per la qualità generale!

16/05/2025: Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Il pesce è di ottima qualità. Le porzioni soprattutto dei secondi un po’ troppo piccole ( il trancio di ombrina seppur squisito erano 3 bocconi). Nel complesso sia stati bene, piazzetta molto tranquilla a pochi metri dal mare, in considerazione del conto vorresti mangiare un pochino di più .

We dined here with 12 people, and when it came time to take our orders, the waiter became annoyed because one of our guests ordered a first course before the appetizer. He showed us the order pad, asking where he should write the appetizer, since the first line was already taken up by spaghetti with clams. Result: the appetizer wasn't ordered. We then ordered gnocchi with Fassona ragù, and they got tomato gnocchi, and instead of the lemon scallops, we got chicken breast with potatoes. We then asked for three glasses of Vermentino, and the waiter replied that he would bring us a bottle of local wine. Only after we further insisted did we get the three glasses of wine. When it came time to order coffees, the waiter again became annoyed when we ordered a caffè macchiato, replying that that wasn't a real coffee, and even worse if ordered with hot milk. The icing on the cake when it came to paying the bill: we were told that only one of us would pay €538 (!!), or at most we could split the amount between those paying (when among us were both families of four and singles). The only thing we were told was, "I can't waste time splitting the bill." Only after we strongly protested did the annoyed waiter finally decide to split the bill equally. The disastrous outcome of the evening was probably also our fault; we should have realized there was definitely a reason the place was almost completely empty.

24/10/2025: The place is heavenly, the view and location are priceless. I'll start with this because I absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the hotel experience wasn't. The overall neglect of the place, with frayed curtains and crooked rods, slightly warped fake parquet floors, a plastic shower curtain, and questionable cleanliness. Given the difficulty in reaching the property (about 3 km of wonderful but not "easy" trail) with hundreds of steps and dirt roads, you're forced to dine in their restaurant, a room with a breathtaking view. There's a catch... the photos of the dishes published on the website don't reflect reality at all. We spent €100 for two people for a second course consisting of half a thin slice of swordfish, cooked to a slightly boiled effect, tossed on a base of bagged salad (a mix of radicchio and greens, very little), €27, along with two grilled eggplant and zucchini wafers. A cover charge of €7.50 each for pre-cooked sandwiches, half a liter of house wine (€15), a dessert such as Bindi, and a bitter liqueur. The red tablecloth was made of synthetic, non-iron material and wrinkled. In a place like this, I can pay even more for dinner, but everything has to be up to par. The same goes for breakfast, everything was defrosted and the cake was always packaged—€12 each. For a medium-sized dog, we paid €25 more (it was €35, which was a special price for us) than the price of the room booked through Booking.com, without having any utensils (a mat/bowl). As we very politely, merely as a suggestion, told the owner, simply charging high prices isn't enough to elevate the quality of the establishment; the factors that lead to that goal are multiple and interconnected. The exchange of opinions wasn't entirely pleasant, and the somewhat arrogant attitude and responses are what made me decide to write this negative review, something I never do. Advice: if you ever decide to go, don't bring a trolley, but a backpack.

18/09/2025: Why this hotel calls itself a resort is beyond my comprehension. The view from the room and from the restaurant terrace was fantastic. The super-nice colleague from Senegal made everything perfect; he was so friendly and so nice. Everyone else wasn't so keen on going in the off-season. But the boat trip is still worth it for relaxing and unwinding, including romantic sunsets. The prices are too high for what's on offer.

04/08/2025: Ristorante davvero bello e riservato anche se in centro a santa Margherita, cibo ottimo, pesce fresco e personale davvero molto molto gentile. Ci torneremo sicuramente

25/07/2025: La sorpresa di trovare un luogo unico ed accogliente in un carruggio vista mare sul porto di Santa è stata completata da un’esperienza gastronomica altrettanto sorprendente. Ricette non banali, qualità ineccepibile attenzione e cordialità nel servizio Il tutto ad un prezzo più che equo. Cosa chiedere di più? Bravi!!
