07/03/2026: My boyfriend and I ate here today after visiting the Genoa Aquarium. It was around 2:00 PM, so quite late for lunch, but they seated us without any problem, which we appreciated. The place is clearly very touristy, given its location right on the harbor and across from the city's main attraction, so we weren't expecting the highest quality ingredients. I had trofie with pesto, which, for my taste, was a bit too rich. My boyfriend instead chose grilled fish: you could tell the ingredients were frozen, but overall it was average and still good. Unfortunately, the dessert was quite "chemical" and the coffee wasn't the best either. We spent €54 for two: two covers, a water, a main dish each, a dessert, and a coffee. For being on the harbor of Genoa, right across from the aquarium, I'd say it's a more than fair price.

07/12/2025: The food wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either. We also ordered a chocolate croissant, but it didn't taste good, but it was edible. The service was very fast and very kind, but there were a lot of misunderstandings. I asked for a Moroccan coffee, and they clearly brought me a macchiato. My daughter asked for a cold cocoa latte (with sweet cocoa), but they brought her a cold latte with coffee. My daughter wants something sweet, and you bring us something bitter. It doesn't make any sense at all. When they brought our order, we were a little confused, but they said that was exactly what we ordered. The atmosphere is very nice, I like it.

29/10/2025: we absolutely loved this meal!!! learn some basic italian to order your food and enjoy the freshest pasta + sauce combo of your choice. the woman working in the restaurant was kind and warm to us, and watching her prepare our food was super cool. the pasta was the best we had in CT - you don’t need to sit down at a fancy place to enjoy bomb pasta and incredible pesto!! the serving sizes were generous and i loved that you could customize your combo. give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😊

20/09/2025: We booked online for my mums 60th for 10 people. When we arrived there was no reservation. We had a confirmation email and when we clicked on it the online booking had taken us to a restaurant in America! We showed the waiter and he said yes this has happened before. If it has happened before why had they not rectified it? Our celebration was completely ruined. No apology. Also we spent €120 on taxis there and back. Really poor.

05/09/2025: Beautiful location – private and exclusive. We were lucky (or unlucky) that it was practically quiet. A very friendly welcome and service, although it was clear that the staff had nothing to do. However, the price – just for the loungers and umbrella – is quite steep. These are the best Ibiza prices, and you don't get the same service.

30/12/2025: Very disappointed by the welcome, the service, and the quality of the food. We didn't feel welcome, perhaps because we were seated at a table of French speakers! That was certainly the impression we were left with. The restaurant is quite expensive for the quality, which is simply not there; it was far too greasy, and the mixed fish fritto at €30 with such a small portion was something I've never seen in Italy! We will never go back. Luckily, there are many excellent restaurants elsewhere in Bordighera and Ventimiglia.

07/02/2026: New Management... What can I say? A fantastic experience. You can feel the staff's expertise, the service impeccable. Generous portions, sophisticated cocktails, and absolutely fair prices. We were very impressed, both at the staff dinner and when we returned as a couple. Needless to say, the location, in the heart of the alleys, is magnificent.

08/01/2026: My friends booked a table for New Year’s Eve at 21:00. They waited standing for over an hour - nothing was offered to them, and no clear information was given. To any questions, the staff only replied: «we’ll come soon»… Eventually, they sat at a free table, but no one approached them. After a while a bartender came with a young Italian couple and said that we had to give up the table because they had arrived earlier. It was already 22:40. At that moment, the girl started shouting loudly. The bartender did nothing to stop her, and when we tried to speak to the bartender, the girl kept interrupting and shouting. After that, the bartender said that he would not serve us and walked away. We are deeply disappointed - them New Year’s Eve was ruined. The table had been booked several weeks in advance. Guests had also arrived from Cyprus, and our friends have lived in Genoa for many years. This was their first and last time at this place. Shame on this establishment!!! I do not recommend it to others. Poor organization, please pay attention to this.

08/10/2025: We went here our first night after a very stressful day of travel.The food was just Okay. My husband who is not fussy thought it was kinda a tourist trap. Maybe my least favorite meal In Monterosso. There are so many options available so don’t bother.
