06/03/2026: We went to La Baracchetta last night and had a very positive experience. The place is simple, but the food and service are truly excellent. The stracchino-filled focaccias are fabulous, and the cheese focaccia is delicious despite the slightly smaller portions. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants of this type. Recommended!

15/02/2026: A place mostly for summer, but you can go there even in winter. Lately, the quality has deteriorated and prices are rising. Limited selection, the Recco cheese focaccia is raw and lingers in your stomach after an hour. Luckily, the portions were small. Friendly and helpful service, although a bit slow despite the low attendance. A while ago, the food was better and the prices were more affordable. It's pointless to charge €7 for a portion when you need to order another. But I think this is the norm in Recco. 2 cheese focaccias (raw!) 2 platters 1 portion of fillings (7-8 microscopic pieces) 2 desserts ½ wine Water 2 coffees €65. I understand why the place was practically deserted. 🥺

31/12/2025: We've been going to this restaurant for over twenty years, on average once a year. It's the only restaurant in Alassio we've been to and where we can honestly say we've never been disappointed. The dishes are authentic, the fresh fish of the day prepared Ligurian-style is perfect, and so much more. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: And we did it again....we tried to return after previous negative experiences because the place and the food are not bad at all, in terms of quality we have always eaten well but I think you have to be able to interact with people. The last few times we've always waited hours to eat, with endless waits. Tonight we booked early and they told us that "we had to be quick because they had a large table at 9 pm." My response was, "It's fine for us, as long as you guys are quick." We arrived at 7:20 pm. The place was half empty, there were 3 of us (2 adults and a child). We ordered a children's menu and 2 pizzas. My pizza arrived 30 minutes later. After 2 requests to the waiter, my son's pasta arrived. After another 20 minutes, my husband's pizza arrived. We complained to the waiters, the owner arrived and didn't apologize. Instead, she told us that we shouldn't get angry and that the cook had simply thrown away the order. ABSURD. It won't change the owners' lives, but one thing is certain: we'll never go back.

18/02/2026: A wonderful Valentine's Day celebration with friends: we ate delicious pizza, drank well, and sang all evening with the karaoke they organized for the evening. The venue is very central, near the main square in Finale Ligure, and very comfortable and welcoming. Fabulous hospitality, with owners and staff always smiling. We'll definitely be back very soon. Congratulations!!!

06/01/2026: Last day of our weekend in Finale Ligure and I must say a pleasant surprise for this place, Friendliness, friendliness, but above all excellent dishes and careful attention to the choice of raw materials. Coming from Turin we returned home with full bellies, but above all with the right balance, quality/price. I recommend this place to everyone and congratulations again to the owners for their friendliness and kindness towards us.

13/03/2026: For a ”pizzeria” the quality of pizza is extremely low as they serve frozen pizza dough that was burnt. You can get better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. Also calculated the bill way higher than it should have been. Luckily we noticed and didnt get scammed.

13/03/2026: The pizzas were small and not very good; at the end they tried to charge us €95 instead of €83. We are international students and I find that very unfair…

28/05/2025: Ristorante sul lungo mare, perfetto per mangiare mentre fai una passeggiata in tranquillità. Qualità del cibo ottima, tartare di tonno freschissima e i primi si ha l’imbarazzo della scelta, tutti molto buoni. Da non perdere anche i dolci soprattutto il tiramisù. Personale molto cordiale e ospitale. In conclusione, consiglio vivamente questo ristorante

25/05/2025: Locale molto carino. Prenotato qualche giorno prima tavolo esterno poi serata freddina passati all’interno senza nessun problema. Piatti di alta qualità. Qualche piccola sbavatura ma nel complesso consigliatissimo.

22/10/2025: A beautiful location with a sea view. A wide selection of delicious and excellent dishes, including the catch of the day. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would gladly return.

18/10/2025: We wanted an aperitivo. They kindly told us to choose our drinks and then offered San Carlo fries or a "fritturina." A few calamari and fried vegetables cost €26, bringing the total to €42 with a Ceres and an alcoholic drink. It was good, but it would have been better to let them know the price in advance, and anyway, it can't be that expensive.

24/09/2025: I've never eaten at a beach restaurant, but the person inviting us had decided to do so... I have to say the basics were there: I would have perhaps avoided too much fried sage in the stuffed anchovies and would have preferred tagliolini instead of scialatielli. By the way, my grandmother, a Genoese woman, used to bake anchovies stuffed with chard and other ingredients, leaving them whole. Are the "cigar-shaped" and fried ones a local variation?

02/01/2026: The setting is undoubtedly evocative: a 19th-century villa overlooking the sea, promising a high-quality experience. Unfortunately, the reality of the New Year's Eve dinner was far from our expectations. The decision to host dinner on the terrace, protected only by plastic sheets and devoid of any heating system, proved profoundly inappropriate for the season and the type of event. When we asked for clarification on the lack of heaters, we were told that they hadn't been provided, a difficult justification for an event of this caliber. The cold was so cold that it made it impossible to enjoy the evening, even a meal served at such a high price. Only after about an hour did they attempt to alleviate the problem by handing out blankets, a late and wholly inadequate intervention. After the appetizer, we were forced to leave, as were the other guests, all visibly disappointed. An epilogue that should never be the case for an experience that bills itself as "luxury." A historic location of this caliber deserves more attentive management and respect for guest comfort. A New Year's Eve to forget, unfortunately.

11/10/2025: I was out walking the dogs at Gaiazza and it was getting late, I called and asked if we could eat something... Despite the time and the 4 dogs they told me to go anyway... They were very kind and helpful.. and I ate a delicious plate of trofie with pesto!!!

08/12/2025: Review of "La Marina" – Brugnato (La Spezia), very close to the famous Brugnato outlet. If you're looking for an authentic, welcoming restaurant that will make you feel instantly at home, La Marina is a must-see. It's a family-run establishment in a very convenient location, with parking just steps away and truly perfect accessibility, even for those with disabilities: a rare and precious touch. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth, and the family atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. But the real star was the food: exceptional dishes, rich in flavor, tradition, and generous portions, all at more than fair prices. We started with amazing polenta, served in several variations: with roe deer, venison, mushrooms, and even goulash. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the kind you want to remember forever. Next, a mixed antipasto platter with local cured meats, panzanella, and delicious vegetable tarts: a triumph of simple and authentic flavors, literally finger-licking good. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and extremely courteous. Special mention goes to Elisa and Antonietta, whose kindness and professionalism made everything even more enjoyable. Last but not least, we concluded the meal with two unforgettable desserts: a fragrant and moist homemade apple pie and a homemade panna cotta, enhanced with a delicious blackberry jam, also homemade. A perfect finale, in keeping with the care and love that characterizes the entire cuisine at this restaurant. In conclusion, La Marina is a restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend: for its quality, its atmosphere, and the passion with which it is run. It's a place we'll definitely return to, and one we recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a warm and authentic setting.

03/11/2025: Near the town hall, we found this restaurant/pizzeria where we stopped for dinner. We ordered mainly fish and loved it. We had the pleasure of discovering the Cinque Terre wine, which we really enjoyed, especially the white.
