03/05/2025: Excellente table , cuisine originale et pleine de saveurs mais surtout particulièrement flexible par rapport aux demandes des clients . Mon épouse , un peu difficile, a adoré ce qui lui a été proposé !! Un dernier mot pour féliciter l’épouse du Chef pour sa gentillesse et son écoute .

01/05/2025: Cibo buonissimo e servizio impeccabile però accanto a noi una signora, amica dello chef, ha fumato tutto il tempo (iqos non tabacco ma la puzza era uguale se non peggiore). Avrei potuto dirle qualcosa ma non l’ho fatto e non lo hanno fatto nemmeno i camerieri ne’ la responsabile di sala. Inaccettabile ovunque tanto più in un locale di come questo. Non ci tornerò più e trovo l’atteggiamento inaccettabile. Peccato.

01/06/2025: Super welcoming atmosphere in a unique setting and formula. Host and chef are incredibly friendly and they are clearly passionate about what they do. Would also come back when in the area :)

28/05/2025: This was one of the most amazing culinary experiences I’ve had. Franco and his team are very welcoming. The menu was just perfect. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance. You can choose whether you want to have a vegetarian menu or fish and meat. It’s really something special. Thank you for this evening!

24/05/2025: It's a place worth coming to eat. Excellent food, super friendly and helpful staff (I've rarely found this level), superb sea view location, in front of the Galiinara islet. I don't think you need much more to feel like you're in Paradise. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

31/05/2025: On a trip to Genoa we stopped at this restaurant and enjoyed very good traditional dishes: capponmagro, grilled octopus, paccheri all'aragostella, turbot fillet on pepper cream, cod brandade. Fast service, attentive and very kind, I highly recommend it.

02/06/2025: C’ero stata tanti anni fa, ma grazie al suggerimento di cari amici stasera abbiamo voluto tornarci: abbiamo fatto proprio bene! Un menu stuzzicante, tra piatti locali e spunti da cucine esotiche. Servizio eccelso, soprattutto i ragazzi giovani sono attenti ed efficacissimi. La posizione- di fronte al mare- completa in modo perfetto.

31/05/2025: Ristorante storico che recentemente ha cambiato gestione ed era la prima volta che cenavamo qui. Locale che si trova in centro a Rapallo a pochi passi dal lungomare. Proprietario gentile e locale pulito, oltre che rivisitato in chiave più moderna. Nota dolente il cibo che non mi ha entusiasmato, nessun piatto aveva un quid, un qualcosa di speciale che ti spinge a tornare. Abbiamo cenato con un antipasto di mare, spaghetti/linguine ai gamberi e fritto misto: tutto senza infamia e senza lode. Prezzi in linea con Rapallo.

29/05/2025: Ho ordinato dei totani come antipasto e un piatto di spaghetti alle vongole come primo piatto. Dopo aver atteso diverso tempo l'arrivo delle pietanze, nonostante il locale non sembrava essere eccessivamente pieno, gli spaghetti alle vongole sono arrivati crudi. Hanno provato a rimediare all errore ma purtroppo con scarso risultato. Prezzo eccessivo per le pietanze prese. Peccato

25/05/2025: This was one of the best dinners we have ever had. My wife and I came here upon the recommendation of our rental host, and we are so glad we did. It was more than just a fine meal...it was an authentic Italian experience. Great atmosphere in a candlelit stone room, and great service from the family that owns the place. It is probably important to know that it won't be a typical restaurant experience...there is no menu (it is fixed price) and we didn't even know what would come out next. What came out was course after course of exceptional Italian food, and all for a very reasonable price. This was one of the most unique dining experiences I've ever had, and it was also one of the very best. I would highly, highly recommend coming up to the Ristorante Pepen.

25/05/2025: Restaurant with fixed menu €35 wine not included You enter where once there was the cellar and the stable, where in some places you can still see the rock, the whole thing looks like a cave. So a very characteristic and intimate place suitable for romantic dinners Quiet and clean well furnished with clean toilets like few are seen Fast and informal service that puts you at ease Let's move on to the food: good wine list a series of appetizers two first courses two second courses and dessert Just the right portions that allow you to get to the end full The quality of the food is good. Let's move on to expectations; seeing the location one expects very imaginative dishes and innovative flavors instead the cuisine and the presentations are from a trattoria but not in a derogatory sense but in the good sense of the origins that is good and classic flavors that take you back to home cooking as it should be in trattorias. In conclusion if you are looking for a quiet and romantic place with good characteristic food ok but if you are looking for impressive dishes with innovative flavors look elsewhere

04/06/2025: Atmosfera assai piacevole in questo ristorante elegante e dai toni rustici. Cantina ricca con molte belle etichette. Io ho scelto Terrazze Singhie 2021. Cappun magro, come antipasto, presentato in una pregevole versione, così pure la tatin ⁰con cipolle lascia un ricordo indelebile. Gnocchetti con gamberetti e zucchine che si accoppiano felicemente. Il petto d'anatra, cotto alla perfezione, è perfetto. Dolci allettanti, come il semifreddo al pistacchio con salsa alla lavanda, nonché i gustosi sorbetti. Uno speciale caffè conclude il pasto accompagnato da un fantastico Dartigalongue. Conto sui 150 euro, assai ben spesi.

02/06/2025: Buena comida, pero no para mí, elegí tarde en la noche, porque muchos restaurantes estaban cerrados, siendo un gourmet, para mí las porciones pequeñas no me satisfacen, lo siento, el restaurante no tiene la culpa.

22/05/2025: We had an unforgettable dinner at this Italian gem. Every dish was crafted with care and top-quality ingredients. Starter: The raw tuna was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented – delicate in flavor and a perfect way to start the meal. First Course: Homemade ravioli with a rich, flavorful filling – pure comfort and elegance on a plate. Second Course: The roast beef was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked – truly outstanding. The wines were also excellent. All of this came at a very reasonable price considering the exceptional quality. Highly recommended!

22/05/2025: Made a same night ressie on Fork through TripAdvisor. Seated immediately and given homemade bread and zeppoles. Wonderful local wines at fair prices. 3 pasta dishes and one beef. All perfect. Had pistachio crème and creme brûlée for dessert...outstanding! Staff was responsive and pleasant! Deserves their #1 rating!!!!

09/05/2025: Food is good for Cinque terre standards. Hard to find something decent in this area. Service is great though, really nice folks.

08/05/2025: Restaurant, café, grocery store... all in one! I ordered an Americano coffee (€3) and a delicious pear pastry (€3) to go. The owner has a sense of humor and speaks excellent French!

20/05/2025: The magnificence of the classic. Beautiful place, classic without nostalgic drifts. Owner in the dining room, star of the service that is super efficient and, thank God, silent and invisible when it needs to be. Everything is quality, from the minerals to the fine wines, to the napkins. Finally garlicky pesto, male, real, not the now widespread version, watered down to please everyone. Tasty, fresh, oven-fresh focaccias. Compact Umbrina, cooked with the utmost respect for the, very fine, raw material. More than honest bill, for me, even low.

17/05/2025: We were at this restaurant for the first time. Unforgettable dinner, highly recommended the paffutelli alla Frank. Very kind staff with great attention to detail. Must try!

31/05/2025: Un accueil agréable, mais la suite laisse vraiment à désirer. Service très long, cher pour la quantité et la qualité . Arrivée 12h30 départ 14h45 pour seulement trois plats . Et, cerise sur le gâteau, la personne qui a encaissé, très froide . Cela manque de professionnalisme .

25/05/2025: Hello, The meal was perfect, it was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good advice on the wine. However, we wish the owner would learn to count before coming to attack us and telling us there was money missing from the bill. Furthermore, she openly told us that she preferred a single payment, either card or cash, and then left in a very haughty manner. The goal is to get paid, right??? For this inconvenience, we would have liked a complimentary digestif. However, as for the servers, nothing to complain about, they were great! Thanks to them. A word to the wise...

02/06/2025: Years after the first review I can only confirm the excellent dishes, the friendliness of the twins and all the staff. 5 stars more than deserved! Excellent dishes, wide variety of Ligurian dishes, all very good, both the first and second courses, fried fish and focaccia with cheese exceptional. Very welcoming place. Very kind staff. Excellent value for money.
