11/10/2025: Terrible service. With the dining room half empty, we waited forever both to order and for someone to come and collect our dishes. The main courses were never picked up, so we didn't even have a chance to order dessert unless we'd waited another hour.

10/10/2025: A place to try...special pizza and fried food

01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.

24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 06/09/2025: Worst fried calamari of my life, in front of the sea yes but they are neither good nor beautiful, I have eaten extraordinarily better in the middle of the mountains... neither fresh, nor fried well and to make it seem more abundant, I add some vegetables (courgettes and carrots) also fried rigorously badly... great decision

24/09/2025: I've never eaten at a beach restaurant, but the person inviting us had decided to do so... I have to say the basics were there: I would have perhaps avoided too much fried sage in the stuffed anchovies and would have preferred tagliolini instead of scialatielli. By the way, my grandmother, a Genoese woman, used to bake anchovies stuffed with chard and other ingredients, leaving them whole. Are the "cigar-shaped" and fried ones a local variation?

02/10/2025: Run away!! They're thieves. We went to this pizzeria for lunch with several colleagues. The service was fine, but the problem came when it came to the bill. For a pizza that was listed at €10, I was charged €15 at the cash register. The worst part was that when I simply asked the elderly lady at the cash register for an explanation, she erased the screen and asked me to pay. She complained, got impatient, etc. In the end, these good restaurant owners charged me €10 for the pizza + €3 for the mushroom supplement (it's expensive, but okay, I asked for an extra) and, more importantly, €2 to replace the tomato sauce with crème fraîche (😂 that's a lot for a spoonful of cream). I should have asked you to subtract the tomato sauce 😂 Out of the five of us, three had this kind of disappointment when it came to the bill. So, dear madam, instead of getting annoyed, take the time to better train your staff and have the decency to simply warn the customer when ordering. You will save a lot of time.

19/09/2025: They're all childish and stepchildish; if you're in line to pay, they'll let the guy behind you go because he's their friend. The much-vaunted pizza isn't what I'm satisfied with. The only positive thing is the very kind and fast staff.

01/10/2025: A little insider tip. The seating inside isn't that nice, but the outside is good. BUT: the service and the pizza makers are super friendly and fast. Many thanks to the friendly team. And most importantly: the food is super delicious – whether it's insalata mista, calamari fritis, or pizza. It's a shame there aren't more dishes on the menu (meat, fish). Keep up the good work!

29/08/2025: 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 I called to reserve a table on a hot summer evening, and was told there was no room outside, but inside. I asked if there was air conditioning, and was told yes (too bad the micro-split in a room of at least 90 square meters with the doors open probably wouldn't even have been enough to cool my bathroom!). The result was a sweat bath that lasted almost two hours. Yes, because at least an hour passes between when you sit down and when the first course arrives. The waiter who comes to take your order is a "Slavic gang leader" type: powerful arms covered in tattoos, a Slavic gang leader haircut, shaved at the bottom, longer on top, and the inevitable ponytail, earrings, bracelets, and maybe piercings (I was a bit afraid of him, so I didn't look at him for long). He asks you brusquely what you want, and you get the impression he's asking you what your last wish is before being executed. After exactly an hour, your food arrives—mediocre, I've already forgotten about it. You say nothing and don't order anything else for fear of the muscular guy. Then you go to the hostess at the cash register (of pre-Merlinian memory), where you pay a bill, high or low, which still sounds awful given the heat you've endured and the jitters you felt when the Balkan boss wrote your last wish in his notebook. Terrible atmosphere, terrible service, mediocre food, and the price is still wrong. To be avoided.

21/08/2025: Everything was excellent, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely.

09/10/2025: The pizza is good, but unfortunately, EVERY time you call to order takeout, you have to wait up to AN HOUR (from the time you order it over the phone) because they don't make it right away, but wait for you to show up at the restaurant. I don't know if they do this with everyone, because I've noticed some come in and leave shortly after. The service is truly terrible, which is a real shame because the food is good.

14/09/2025: We're not there yet. A 30-minute wait just to take our orders and another good 30 minutes for the appetizers to be brought. The kids ate from 8:30 PM until 10:00 PM. The cuisine focuses on the most basic appetites, and in fact it's a riot of first courses and grilled meats that, despite their simplicity, aren't exactly excellent. The appetizers, which are also basic, aren't convincing, but why pair a cheese with a Hungarian-style salami? The house red wine, served warm, is mediocre...but at 12 euros a liter... Prices are overall high.

05/05/2025: Excelente restaurante cerca de la estación. El servicio era perfecto, comida de primera categoría. Muy ocupado (lunes por la noche) con una mezcla de lugareños y visitantes, todas las edades. Buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendar la pasta de calamatra de marisco y la pasta troife con almejas. Casa blanca perfectamente bebible.

03/10/2025: It seems like an unremarkable restaurant from the outside, but inside, everything is beautiful and authentically Italian, without any pretentiousness. The service is excellent. There's a huge variety of fish dishes. The bill for two, including wine, was 80 euros.

06/07/2025: Nothing to say about the food and service, the restaurant is worth a visit. Tasty and well-prepared dishes, excellent quality raw materials. Personally, I was unlucky and had dinner with only one great desire: to finish quickly and leave as soon as possible. At the table next to ours, 3 people were dining with a dog, who for the entire duration of the meal was free to approach almost to my chair and to run around between the legs of the waitresses while they served the various courses. Furthermore, the dog was free to stand up on its hind legs and put its front paws on the tablecloth, table, chairs, etc. Finally, the dog also gave himself a good shake a couple of times and this left me quite perplexed, thinking of fleas, insects and various parasites that could have been spread around. Not everyone likes furry friends while dining... I found great disrespect on the part of the owners of the animal, and little attention on the part of the manager of the place who, despite there being several free tables, positioned us in the corridor and near the bogeyman... Last but not least, every minimum hygiene rule is gone beyond if the dog on duty has the opportunity to rub against the clothes of the waiters who enter and exit the kitchen or if, even worse, the latter pet them between one course and another, without sanitizing their hands properly.

14/10/2025: Sat outside the restaurant for lunch. No problem getting seated or service. Menu on the outside wall. I had rabbit, a favorite dish, I have not found it on other menus. If you love garlic, this is your place.

27/09/2025: Excellent meals served with good quality/price. We loved the rabbit with its light perfumed sauce and the " pansoti in salsa noce ( eggs fresh pasta stuffed with vegetables with nut sauce ) are the best vegetable raviolis I ever ate (used to the delicious fresh raviolis from Nice)

10/07/2025: El Bistrot Julia es una de las pocas trampas para turistas en Moneglia. La relación calidad/precio es excelente no sólo en la carta de comida sino también en la carta de vinos. Mucha variedad. Nos encanta el atún, así que mi esposa pidió el tartar de atún y yo pedí el filete de atún con avellanas. ¡Guau! Ambos nos miramos y concluimos que ésta había sido nuestra mejor experiencia con atún.

06/07/2025: Ein ausgezeichnetes ligurisches Abendessen mit hervorragendem Wein. Als Vorspeise die Auswahl an rohem Fisch, sehr sehr gut. Auch die Hauptspeisen, Thunfisch, exzellent. Freundliche und kompetente Beratung beim Wein. Moscato da Taggia, eine autochthone ligurische Traube. Empfehlung in jeder Hinsicht.
