17/07/2025: It was years ago, but I still remember it. Surrounded by nature yet just minutes from the sea, rooms are beautiful in their simplicity, and the cuisine is traditional. Liguria in its essence.

06/07/2025: This agriturismo is tucked away in the hills inland from Finale Ligure. To get there, you drive a few kilometers uphill, followed by a long stretch of dirt road through the woods. Despite the difficulty, the route is scenic and peaceful. We were greeted by a friendly horse and found a large, accessible (though unpaved) parking area. The evening started beautifully under a charming pergola with a large wisteria, where we were welcomed by a young and friendly staff. The cuisine leans toward refined and slightly sophisticated, with every dish prepared with care. The presentation is thoughtful, and everything we tasted was flavorful. A special mention goes to the bread, served warm and freshly baked. Among the highlights were the panzanella from the starters and the primo sale cheese by Aldo, one of their local producers. Prices are a bit high, though portions like the lamb main course were generous, making it feel more justified. The interior of the agriturismo is also lovely, with an open kitchen and a large corner fireplace that adds to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a positive experience and one I’d recommend especially to those looking for something more refined than the classic Ligurian agriturismo.

16/07/2025: I chose this restaurant on the fly without a reservation. I was immediately greeted warmly and was very helpful. The food was very good (a revisited capon magro is a must-try). Mrs. Martina, a young waitress, was a real surprise. She took impeccable and discreet care of me. Her descriptions of the dishes were full of passion and detail. The service was all about kindness and a smile, which I greatly appreciated. It's worth a visit, and I'll definitely be back.

27/06/2025: We had a wonderful time at B&B Portobello! The hosts were wonderful: welcoming, kind and always available. The breakfasts were delicious, plentiful and carefully prepared. 26/07/2025: We had the tasting menu which was nice and 60 euro however we were not given coffee which was included and we were offered complimentary cherry liqueur but when we checked our bill later we had been charged for it. I am sure it was probably a genuine mistake.

22/07/2025: Impeccable service, food was outstanding. We had the cappelletti, sea bass, risotto and dessert. Wife was most impressed by the dessert.

02/08/2025: Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker! Wir waren spontan mit 6 Personen da und es war zum Glück noch ein Tisch frei. Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr sympathisch und nett. Für 6 Personen mit Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen haben wir wirklich nicht viel bezahlt! Kann dieses Lokal wirklich sehr empfehlen! Da es aber sonst sehr voll ist, sollte man vorher lieber reservieren.

28/07/2025: It's been years since I've been here, but I've always heard good things about it. We had a Paciugo and a Tanta roba... really good! Excellent dough and a nice, thin, filling pizza. Two excellent pizzas, beer, Coke, and coffee for only €32 including service. 🍕🔝

19/07/2025: The food was a disaster. My girlfriend and I had diarrhea after eating there. The place is very dirty, the staff is strange, and the prices are very high.

18/07/2025: Wonderful flavors, rich selection, kind, polite, fast service, and the sea as a backdrop.... I highly recommend it to everyone! It's worth booking a table in advance!

31/07/2025: I went last night with my wife and two friends. We had a wonderful meal, impeccable service, a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, and a very well-kept and clean atmosphere. Excellent value for money. We'll be back and will tell our friends about it.

19/07/2025: We spent a great week in the hotel lamberti. The bed was very very comfortable and the people are really friendly and welcoming. We had a superior double room on the 4th floor with a small balcony and even view of the sea.

24/06/2025: We returned for the second time to this hotel in Alassio, in an excellent location very convenient to the sea. To underline the possibility of bringing small dogs and the extreme kindness of all the staff. We found excellent cuisine, in half board where both breakfast and dinner were prepared with care and attention. We will definitely return very soon!!

27/07/2025: Top restaurant in every way. Beautiful location, not new but well-maintained, with a unique view both inside and from the terrace. Excellent cuisine, excellent meat. But above all, value for money, you'll spend around €50 with wine included. The same dinner in Milan would be double if you're lucky! Highly recommended.

Piacevolissima musica jazz in sottofondo; la cena: Vino: - Vermentino di Sardegna DOC BioIntegrale az. Olianas. Pane bianco, focaccia e crostini maison. PRIMI: - tagliatelle con baccalà e punte di asparagi. - tagliolini con cozze e bottarga di muggine di Cabras. SECONDI: - acciughe impanate fritte e acciughe ripiene con zucchini fritti. - stoccafisso accomodato alla genovese. DESSERT: - frittelle di mele con uvetta. - semifreddo all'amaretto con salsa al cioccolato. Caffè a chiudere. La carta dei vini presenta 60 etichette anche al calice. Non è previsto il menù degustazione; à la carte 4 antipasti da 13,50 a 16€; 5 primi da 13,50 a 15€; 5 secondi da 17,50 a 18,50€; 4 dessert da 6,50 a 7€; è tutto consultabile nel sito web a parte alcune piccole differenze. C'eravamo stati a cena nel luglio del 2014 e ancora vivo era il ricordo della gentilezza di Giampaolo che ritroviamo anche oggi assieme alla curata cucina di tradizione; l'ambiente è lo stesso ma arricchito dalla storia dell'amaro Camatti appesa alla parete che allora non notammo. Umberto Briganti, l'inventore dell'amaro è il bisnonno di Chiara Degregori moglie di Giampaolo; il liquore porta il cognome di Teresa moglie di Umberto. Piacevoli le chiacchierate con Giampaolo durante tutto il pasto. A fine cena i nostri complimenti.

27/07/2025: We decided to visit La Lanterna based on its strong reviews, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. We ordered three dishes: the trofie al pesto, pansoti con salsa di noci, and grilled vegetables. All three arrived lukewarm or cold, giving the impression they weren’t freshly prepared. The trofie al pesto was decent, though unremarkable — but more concerning, we found what was clearly a fly in the dish (wings and legs intact). When we brought it to our waitress’s attention, she kindly took the plate to the kitchen. She was professional and understanding throughout. However, the dish was returned to us with the explanation — apparently from the chef or manager — that the “fly” was actually an ingredient from the pesto. We initially accepted this, but as the meal went on, it became clear the staff was not being forthright. If it truly wasn’t a fly, why had the “ingredient” been removed before the dish was returned? We chose not to press the issue further, but the way it was handled — offering no solution and brushing aside our concern — felt dismissive. The pansoti con salsa di noci was edible but tasted like it had been made with frozen pasta, was served cold, and lacked depth of flavor. The grilled vegetables were the most enjoyable part of the meal, though again, they arrived cold. While we didn’t enjoy the food, I do want to emphasize that our waitresses were very kind and attentive, and we appreciated their efforts. In all, this visit fell short of expectations. With so many great dining options nearby, I’d recommend looking elsewhere
