Excellent dishes, thin pizza and delicious scrocchiarella, dry and crispy fried foods, friendly staff even though we arrived practically at closing time, everyone smiling and courteous, typical Roman osteria, excellent food, highly recommended

One of those rare gems these days. Everything at Marsicano is excellent, cooked traditionally with fresh, delicious ingredients under the watchful eye of the owner, Barone. The service is impeccable, and the two waiters, incredibly kind and always smiling, contribute to a unique experience.
Feel free to order whatever you like, and if you go for dinner, you absolutely must try the pizza, one of the best and lightest in Rome.

A restaurant like this is a rarity in Rome these days! Classic style, impeccable waiters, and amazing traditional Roman dishes. A tip? Order the Jewish-style artichokes, which are made here in a way that's impossible to find anywhere else. Everything else: excellent and plentiful!

80s-style restaurant. The cuisine is 80s-style, the staff is professional and friendly, but the prices are too high for this type of restaurant. The real gem is the bill, handwritten on a piece of paper by the owner, who is evidently stuck in another era.

A leap back to the '80s... Wonderful!
Do you know those places that bring back memories of going out for lunch or dinner with your parents? Where there are no modern frills like "carbo-crema" or pecorino cream on cacio & pepe... Where the appetizers are buffet-style, desserts are made in-house (and not brought in from outside), fresh fish is in the open fridge, and the waiters wear shirts, waistcoats, and bow ties... Generous portions, pasta cooked al dente, and traditional dishes. Truly wonderful (I give all 5 stars without trying to be a restaurant expert... I'm not).

One of those places where time stood still in the early '80s, nostalgic today!
Classic Roman/Abruzzese trattoria.
A comprehensive selection of appetizers and side dishes with delicious dishes; I definitely recommend the chicory, puntarelle, artichokes, and vegetables in general. Delicious, fragrant pizza, good meat, and generous, delicious first courses.
Desserts like the ricotta and pear tart and the delicious sour cherry tiramisu.
This is a place that can't change! It must remain this way, with that style that takes me back through the years...
