31/01/2026: The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, unlike the street, and I think I understand why. The food feels a bit like instant food, but it's good for a casual meal. The server who was serving the food spilled crumbs on my leg and didn't apologize. I asked for fresh fruit juice, but she gave me Fanta. I don't think I'll be back.

The decor is nice but kind of pointless. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that they use cloth napkins here. Staff: The staff was helpful and nice. I have no complaints. Food: We ordered fettucine ai porcini and spaghetti ala Gricia. I have to say that the ferrucine was not good. It is not written anywhere on the menu that the chef will add spicy sauce to this dish, and if you order something that is basically mild and not supposed to be hot, you are then upset. In addition, the food was not seasoned. Someone relied on the fact that hotness is the only and sufficient flavor. The spaghetti was not bad, but again it was not well seasoned. It was just average. 19/02/2026: A spectacular place, incredible service, magnificent food, and unparalleled hospitality. A restaurant with varied and delicious Italian cuisine, and excellent value for money. For work, I dined at this restaurant four times and felt right at home. The staff is extremely attentive and always ready to cater to any need. And the owner, Augusto, is a man you feel at home with from the moment you arrive.

01/01/2026: Terrible experience, unprofessional staff, questionable food quality, and exorbitant prices. As soon as we arrived, we found two bottles of water on the table, which looked obviously old and had already been opened, meaning they weren't sealed. Naturally, we didn't touch them throughout the meal, and when we reached the cashier, we reported this. We received a rude response, telling us that they're the ones who place them on the tables and open them, which is absolutely unhygienic. We ate two plates of gnocchi with cod for €20 each plus a €6 cover charge; the water was taken off our bill. I don't like giving bad reviews, but given the experience, I think it's fair to write what happened.

19/03/2026: There’s much better food in Rome. Service was fine. The main issue other than the pizza being average, was we asked for a recommendation on wine. The waiter mentioned there wasn’t a wine menu, recommended wine, and then when we got the bill the wine was 175 euro. For a pizzeria that has 15-20 euro dishes, a 175 euro bottle of wine is highway robbery. Also turns out there was a wine list as the table next to us received one. Simply put, would never return here and wishing we hadn’t gone in the first place.

14/03/2026: Worse pizza in Rome. Very small portions. They served different insalata than the one we ordered! The atmosphere is quite nice and some waiters really polite.

17/03/2026: A nice place to order food, they have ready-made meals and pizzas, among other things. I had a pizza and it was good, at a fair price. I would definitely go back.

23/02/2026: The wide selection of pizzas spread out on trays is a temptation for the hungry who visit. Unfortunately, the preparation method is utterly disappointing. Not only are the edges almost burnt after heating, but the seemingly delicious dish is soaked in olive oil like a sponge. This loses its flavor, increases its weight, and consequently, the bill. Olive oil dripped down my hands while eating, which was very irritating. My wife, who chose the vegetarian pizza, received it almost cold, perhaps as a punishment? It was the worst pizza we had in Rome and wasn't worth the rather exorbitant price. I can't comment on the other dishes on offer there, as I haven't tried them, but pizza is the pizzeria's calling card, and it's best not to order it here. On the plus side: communicative service, easy access to a table, and a restroom.

27/11/2025: What can I say? Excellent value for money. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is nice for those who stop by, and now they even have polenta. The food is better than at a restaurant. Not only that, they also have dishes for those who don't eat meat or fish. The people behind the counter and in the kitchen are excellent. Thank you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

27/07/2025: Una perla affacciata sul lago! "Ciccio e la Ristogatta" è un ristorante che conquista sin dal primo sguardo grazie alla splendida terrazza panoramica. Ma è solo l’inizio: il servizio è impeccabile, l’accoglienza calorosa, la professionalità e la cortesia sono di casa. La cucina propone piatti deliziosi, leggeri e realizzati con ingredienti genuini, spesso a km 0. Ogni portata riflette cura, equilibrio e rispetto per la materia prima. Un plauso particolare alla proprietaria Daniela, sempre garbata e attenta a ogni dettaglio. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare qui in diverse occasioni, ma la cena del mio matrimonio è stata davvero speciale: ogni invitato ha apprezzato la qualità del cibo, la gentilezza del personale e l’atmosfera accogliente. Un’esperienza che rimarrà nel cuore. Consigliatissimo!

24/07/2025: This restaurant has great food and a lot of it is locally sourced (including the wine, olive oil, ricotta, and wild salad components). We sampled 2 pastas and a main course, as well as dessert. Everything tasted great! The chef's wife was our server and she explained what went into our food in great detail. Highly recommend!
