06/11/2025: If you are looking for an authentic, unforgettable Roman dining experience away from the typical tourist traps, look no further than Il Padellaccio 2. I have visited Rome several times, and this place has become my absolute favourite, a true home away from home. The quality of the food is simply phenomenal. Everything is prepared with evident passion and the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend trying the Pizza Margherita—it was the best I’ve ever had, perfectly executed and full of flavour. Their pasta is always perfectly al dente, and the wine selection is excellent. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the incredible atmosphere and the genuinely warm service. The staff treat every guest like family. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and create a cozy, welcoming environment. A personal highlight for me is that we are always offered their fantastic, complimentary Lemon Sorbet (Sorbetto al Limone) at the end of the meal. It’s the perfect, refreshing conclusion to a beautiful dinner and a wonderful example of their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. This is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the true taste and heart of Rome. Highest recommendation! We will definitely be back again and again.

20/10/2025: The place is beautiful, and the staff's hospitality and kindness are certainly excellent, even excessive at times. The food is undoubtedly good, the risotto in particular was truly interesting. Unfortunately, the price was higher than expected. Overall, if you're on a budget, it's an excellent restaurant.

01/11/2025: Family lunch... outdoors even though it's November 1st... Luca, Nicola's partner, welcomed us, and we were so pampered... for starters, we delighted in cod croquettes with caramelized Tropea onions and fried anchovies with caper sauce... we suggest adding a twist of lemon zest. Then the magnificent roast beef accompanied by wonderful mashed potatoes... for Carlo, who is lactose intolerant, a fantastic ratatouille made with a knife... then zabaglione with chocolate chips and Mont Blanc espresso... to finish, Jefferson on ice, oshizaki... in short, we were so pampered from start to finish.

29/10/2025: Scammers and shameless. They put up signs with prices that aren't what they charge, and nobody warns you. I asked the price of the sandwiches, and they couldn't even answer me. 4.50 for a small cappuccino that you can drink in two sips. A bottle of water was 4.50 when the price displayed was 3 euros, and when I asked the waiter at the table, he didn't tell me it wasn't that price. Two coffees, two milks for my daughters, a small croissant, another pastry, two small sandwiches, and water came to 48 euros. This is outrageous; I'm going to think about reporting them because it's just not right.

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

04/05/2025: Ristorante posizionato poco fuori dal Raccordo dispone di un ampio parcheggio. La struttura prevede una macelleria/norcineria dove acquistare i prodotti dell'azienda (e non solo) ed un ristorante molto curato. Cibo di ottima fattura e qualità anche se il menù non dispone di molta scelta (eccezion fatta, ovviamente, per la carne) Prezzi poco sopra lo standard. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Da tenere in considerazione se si vuole fare un pranzo/cena in tranquillità

02/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, nice spaces and well managed. The prices are reasonable and the dishes are delicious, you can taste that the ingredients are top quality. Everything is really excellent, we will definitely be back.

25/10/2025: I returned after a while, and I have to say I remember having eaten better in the past. The sautéed mussels should have been simmered a couple of minutes longer, and the spaghetti with clams wasn't bad, but I remembered something more. Impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere.

08/11/2025: A heartfelt thank you to Alex, the owner, for making a dream come true that our daughter will remember forever. Her 18th birthday party in the elegant Diamond Room was a complete success. The buffet was delicious, the music was beautiful, and the guests were incredibly engaged and had a blast. And to top it all off...an hour of relaxation in a hot tub, immersed in a fantastic atmosphere! She was over the moon: an unforgettable experience!

06/10/2025: It's a good place, the price-quality ratio is good, but you have to ask carefully about the ingredients of the pizza because they brought me a pizza with ingredients that were not on the menu.
