09/05/2026: Let's leave aside the croissants and pains à chocolats, which are totally inadequate; some are stale, others just defrosted and reheated. A product that has nothing to do with a quality French product. A croissant costs 1.80 for such a poor product... Never again.

26/04/2026: I stumbled upon this baguette by chance while wandering around central Rome. It offers a wide selection of baguettes with cured meats, meat, fish, and vegetables. I tried a vegetable one, which was light and tasty. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch while exploring Rome. There are no tables, so you eat outside, walking around. I enjoyed my baguette in Piazza Navona, just a few minutes away.

03/06/2026: The appetizers weren't exceptional; of the entire dinner, only the mixed fried fish, fried anchovies, and fried calamari and shrimp were good. The first courses, in my opinion, were subpar, as were the appetizers. The bill was steep for the quality. The staff was courteous and attentive.

05/04/2026: Follow of us had lunch at this humble little place. The hot dishes are delicious, especially the unusual liver stew and the beef stew. The food is fresh and tasty. Pizzas are standard nothing wrong nothing extraordinary. Price is more than reasonable.

09/05/2026: A meticulously curated restaurant with characteristic fishing nets and sea-related paintings. Delicious, high-quality food, cooked to perfection, not to mention the fabulous raw fish. The fraschetta stew is delicious, they say it's for two people, but three or four people eat very well. Generous portions. Fast and attentive service, very good staff. Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. On-street parking. Reservations are recommended. For birthdays, there's a special atmosphere; they dim the lights and all the waiters with the cake head toward the birthday boy or girl, while the background music of "Happy Birthday" plays, which is very nice. Excellent value for money considering the generous portions.

02/03/2026: It's not the first time we've been to this place. But last dinner really amazed us. We ordered two appetizers and then a salt-cooked sea bass for two. When the sea bass was ready, the waiter showed it to us but then went off to clean it in the kitchen, and when he brought our plates, there were two tiny pieces of sea bass. There wasn't even the part with the large bones. As if they served us half the fish! In the end, when the bill arrived, the sea bass cost a whopping €90, too bad we ate it for €30. We left hungry! And €175 for two without wine! Never again!

01/05/2026: Tobacconist rejected by unmotivated and rude employee... could it be the morning's fault?

27/04/2026: The waiters were superb and welcoming. A group of seven of us went to grab a bite to eat, and we ordered pizzas for six of us and pasta for the last person. The pizzas were really good, and we were served within 20 minutes for an affordable price of around 15 euros per person. We even gave a 20 euro tip to Ibra, our waiter. Honestly, I recommend it to anyone who wants a great experience.

19/05/2026: Unbeatable views, but the cocktails were lacking. Absolutely recommend for a sunset on the roof, but one drink is plenty. It overlooks a beautiful plaza. We loved the view and the experience and do recommend it for first timers to Rome.

15/05/2026: I have a sad experience with this nice place. I made a mistake with the dates when booking a table and immediately canceled my reservation on April 24, for which I received a reservation cancellation confirmation. I also immediately booked a table for the date I needed, April 23. On April 23, we spent a very nice evening, we were satisfied with both the service and the food and drink served, we waited for the sunset, after which the terrace was very nicely lit. We paid the bill (270 euros) and left with pleasant feelings, but after a few days 200 euros were taken from my account. Three letters have been sent to the e-mail: reservation@laterrazzadeipapi.com (April 26, 2026, May 4 and May 7) and no answer has been received !!!

09/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. The amatriciana was perfect. Just a delicious taste. Bread was excellent. Ragù was good and the tiramisu was great. Definitely a great lunch spot. And we will be coming back for dinner

29/03/2026: Looking at it from the outside, you wouldn't give it a cent, but as soon as you walk in, everything changes: from the appetizers to the super coffee. The staff is exceptionally courteous, even greeting you by calling you "puppy" on the way out 😂. A perfect mix of courtesy and quality. I fell in love with the contrast!

14/05/2026: A place that markets itself as "family friendly," but clearly doesn't tolerate the presence of children. A two-year-old girl got up from our table and started pacing around, in a nearly empty room and without disturbing anyone. A staff member's reaction was to scold her directly, in a curt, arrogant tone, instead of addressing us adults. The girl returned to the table in tears. If there are things to report, in a normal world, adults talk to each other; you don't scold a two-year-old who doesn't have the tools to understand the situation. At the end of the dinner, after paying the bill, the same person added an irritated quip: "Thank goodness you're leaving." This remark, made after the fact, as we were leaving, further highlights the uncivilized, almost cowardly, attitude. Two-year-olds are taught that "thank you," "please," and "sorry" are magic words. Perhaps, in this case, it could have been the little girl who taught this to the staff. Such rude, overbearing, and completely inappropriate behavior, completely contradictory to the welcoming image the place tries to project. Aside from that, it must be said that the person who served us was extremely courteous and professional throughout the dinner. The evening would have been pleasant and completely peaceful if it hadn't been for the incident described above, which inevitably ruined the overall experience.

04/06/2025: Good experience for my wife's birthday. We had lunch outside, the food was good, although there were very few breaks between courses. A bit of green to relax a bit.

We began with a selection of fried foods that to call excellent is an understatement: croquettes, supplì, zucchini flowers, and battered cod with pepper cream that will remain etched in your memory for its lightness, balance, and flavor. The pizza, soft and well-topped, recalls the Campania tradition without being overly thick, a carefully crafted dough that showcases every ingredient. The craft beer list is surprising, featuring quality Italian labels, and the wine selection, though smaller, is well-curated. Making the evening even more enjoyable was the company of Maurizio, the pizza chef and the soul of the place: passionate, welcoming, and always ready to share the story of his craft. His attention to the quality of the ingredients and the digestibility of the dough is evident in every dish. La Giudea isn't just a pizzeria: it's a journey through authentic flavors and local history, led by someone who truly loves what they do. Highly recommended.
