08/03/2025: Restaurant in the historic center of Montalto di Castro, gluten-free offering at the highest levels from starters to desserts, they have everything a celiac like me could want. Prices appropriate for the place and the service, plus the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Super, see you next time.

15/03/2025: We waited 15 minutes in the empty garden for the staff to come to us. Without any information in advance, we learned that we couldn't eat pizza because it was lunch time (?), so we decided to have a beer while we were already seated and leave the place. We were informed that this was not a bar and we had to leave. I don't recommend it. A place with great potential ruined by poorly managed people.

14/03/2025: We ate badly: starters of grilled vegetables and fried vegetables from the supermarket, good fettuccine with mushrooms, terrible amatriciana. The ricotta tart is good. Rude service. Exaggerated price. Would I go back? No

03/04/2025: Tourist trap... you'll pay a total of 10 euros more than expected. They charge you 2 euros for non-bottled water, 3 euros for service, and 5 euros for cutlery. They serve you a "pint" glass of beer (which isn't a real pint) as soon as you order a beer without specifying the size... obviously it's 7 euros. Too bad because the chef makes good food.

03/03/2025: 4 of us went on Friday evening trying the meat (excellent) and the pizzas which looked more like crackers than pizzas, the next day we tried to ask for 3 takeaway pizzas with double toppings and a focaccia, the result? 40 euros for pizzas which had no difference from those of the day before

31/03/2025: We were in this restaurant on a Sunday for lunch, the first sunny one of the season, obviously the place was super crowded given the exodus from Rome for the beautiful day. I found the food to be good, average, nothing sensational, perhaps also given the arrival time, we sat down at 2pm. Note that for me the service is very negative, first of all if you are a restaurateur and you see that your place doesn't empty after the first shift you shouldn't complain, on the contrary! The rather colorful comments between the owner and the waiter about people who were late in front of other customers do not seem appropriate to me. I would review for a moment the approach that both the staff and the owner of this restaurant have towards the customer, who pays to have good food, and maybe a smile.

16/12/2024: Excellent experience. Cozy place, well cooked food, very friendly staff. Before going to the restaurant we read various reviews, many criticizing the service. Gaia's friendliness accompanied us at every meal and denied every criticism. Excellent value for money.

31/03/2025: Location veramente molto bella, io e il mio compagno abbiamo optato per il menù “Palmarola” tutto buono, il cameriere di sala ci ha consigliato il primo del giorno: ravioli alla crema di scampi, da 10/10!!!! Unica pecca forse solo la poca presenza in sala di un cameriere ma per il resto assolutamente positivo.

24/03/2025: A few steps from the center of Nettuno, In Mezzo al Mare is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like you're in the right place right away: a relaxed but refined atmosphere, the sound of the waves in the background and the aroma of the sea coming straight from the kitchen. The raw appetizer was a dazzling start: very fresh raw materials, served with simplicity and elegance. Red prawns, scampi, tartare and oysters - every bite was a tribute to the sea, without unnecessary frills, but with an attention to detail that you can feel more than you can see. The first course, made with the catch of the day, arrived as a surprise of the moment. Perfectly balanced, tasty but never invasive, with textbook pasta cooking. To close the circle, a fried calamari and prawns to applaud: crunchy, dry, with a lightness that is rarely found. Every bite was fragrant, with that full and authentic flavor that only a well-made fried food can give. The service is friendly, smiling, attentive without ever being formal. The wine list offers a good selection of local and national labels, with choices suitable for both those looking for bubbles and those who want a structured white to accompany the meal. In Mezzo al Mare is a small jewel overlooking the Lazio coast: a must-see for those who love real fish, treated with respect and passion. I will return, without a doubt.

23/12/2024: Mancavo da un po' di tempo dal Pinzale, e sono tornato con piacere a mangiare un pranzo a dir poco perfetto a base di pesce di mare e di lago. Perfetto anche con il prezzo, giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato e per il servizio ricevuto. Bravi .

05/03/2025: Don't be discouraged by the 3 ramps you have to climb to reach the property. You park underneath, go up the aforementioned ramps and find yourself in a magical courtyard with a splendid view of Subiaco and where you can also eat in the summer. The internal restaurant room is very large and vintage, embellished with fine marble and classic furnishings. Typical and tasty dishes on the menu. The owner is very helpful and kind. Highly recommended!

Excellent dinner for adults and children (we were 2 adults and 2 children), overnight stay in the room and excellent and abundant breakfast. Home atmosphere from the owner Fabrizio. Recommended even just for a pleasant, tasty stop.
