You wrote that we booked for 2.30pm when instead we called you at 1pm to say that we were half an hour late with the reservation made for 1.30pm two days before, we arrived at 2.05pm and not at 3pm :30. You served us the first course at 3pm and during lunch you warned us that there were no courses. Regarding the fact that no one was left without a second course, I'm sorry to have to contradict you but we were 7 people and we could only eat 4 seconds because it was all finished. I'm sorry but you also lack professionalism in your responses. It was enough to apologize by offering at least a coffee (which you made us pay for).

07/12/2024: Siamo state oggi a pranzo..abbiamo preso 1 supplì 2 fiori di zucca ( era olio fritto ) idem il supplì..un tagliolino al tartufo bianco ( sapeva solo di burro) caciocavallo al tartufo nero pieno di olio anche esso..e filetto al pepe verde che galleggiava nella panna..non lo consiglio

05/12/2024: We stayed in Monteverde for 2 nights and found Il Cortile for dinner the first night. We arrived without a reservation and while the restaurant was fully booked, they welcomed us with a table and we proceeded to enjoy the most incredible meal!! The steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the funghi bruschetta had the best mushrooms I’ve ever eaten. The seafood pasta and spinach & ricotta ravioli were delicious as well. The food and experience were so delightful that we returned the second night and decided to have dessert this time. I’m still dreaming about the tiramisu!!! Thank you Eduardo and team at Il Cortile for such unforgettable dining experiences!!

The area used for those who want to order pizza is a little darker as it is "further down" while the restaurant department is located in the highest area of ​​the structure. Some tables overlook (not the Spanish Steps). Courteous staff. We were only sorry that they didn't let us participate in the cut we chose (but a few tables further on). Fair account in relation to the location.

Il posto è senza fronzoli, e non promette di averli. Il menù è immutabile come il tempo, e mi auguri che continui ad esserlo Il posto è insomma un rifugio per chi desidera essere coccolato da una cucina come oramai è difficile ritrovare, dalle migliori alici marinate che abbia mai assaggiato, alla unica vera “votapiatto” (inimitabile), al pesce sempre freschissimo, alla maestosa gran zuppa di mare Chi è in cerca di poeti glitterati o alla moda, vada altrove Chi apprezza la vera cucina, sia benvenuto

23/08/2024: Good pub ~ pizzeria, with a decent assortment of starters and (thin) pizzas. Possible to order burgers and first courses. Discreet service. There is also seating outside, weather permitting. Parking is difficult, but there are some hourly car parks in the area.

12/08/2024: Risto pub that I frequented with friends many years ago and that I still frequent occasionally when I want a welcoming place and a pizza and beer at a good and average price. Good nachos with melted cheese and spicy sauce.

01/12/2024: I came to this place together with some friends who came from outside Rome to offer them a coffee. Small premise, this place is located in front of the Santa Cecilia Music Conservatory where I studied and therefore I am very attached to the place. Prices are quite high for the quality offered but given the very exclusive area that's fine. I found the dining room staff a bit "aloof", even though we sat at the table to get coffee and hot chocolate, I had to call several times to be served. The place is beautiful and well kept.
