01/06/2025: We had lunch with my husband attracted by the reviews 🤔. To begin with, the terrace overlooking the sea is nothing more than a small platform placed behind the beach with a wall of umbrellas that block the view of the sea: we could be anywhere! The table setting is the most kitsch I have ever seen: Chinese lace placemats 🙄 The menu is very limited and when we observed it, mister Marco went into a rage, saying that his restaurant is the only one, not only in Ostia but in the whole world, to serve fresh fish and this is the reason why there is very little choice of dishes, moreover the octopus dumplings are tasteless and the anchovy chitarrine are overcooked. Only 2 types of wine by the glass, both terrible, so I had to continue with the prosecco (my husband doesn't drink). Talking to other customers and pointing at us, he told them that we didn't understand what kind of place we had ended up in, as if we were poor ignoramuses who hadn't traveled the world and eaten in the best restaurants. Mister Marco between one skirmish and another also told us that we could leave and that we would be his guests. After finishing the horrible first courses we decided to leave, we asked for the bill which we duly paid. I won't comment on the bill which speaks for itself. Mister Marco, in addition to having dubious reviews, is the rudest, most arrogant, presumptuous and snobbish host I have ever met. Maybe someone should take him down from the pedestal he has taken over and teach him the job, but it seems late to me: it's not the oyster that is crazy...

01/06/2025: Where do I start… I would start with the reservation, my husband calls to reserve a table for two people and asks for a table with a sea view and he is told sir we are already 10 meters from the sea so the tables all have a sea view and ok. Let's start by saying that we had already understood it was a restaurant of a certain level according to them, so surely we expected at least almost €100 to eat fish with a sea view. They make us sit at a table under the sun with a plant attached to the back full of insects, we kindly ask to be able to change tables and no sir they are all already booked, but as soon as other people arrive they have the privilege of being able to change seats, we do not. It seemed that they had already labeled us as those who were not worthy of that place and who would not spend, therefore we did not deserve to choose a suitable place. For the reservation a gentleman arrives to whom we tell that we would like to take a first course directly, we ask for a dish and we are told that if we chose the first course since everything was made at the moment it would take at least 40 minutes an hour before we could eat... from the moment we entered it seemed that everything just oozed you are not worthy of this place and be careful what you are ordering because here the price is per 100 grams making it clear that we would then have to pay a sum outside our budget. After having waited a truly indecent amount of time, given that there were 4 cats in the restaurant, they bring us our first course as you could imagine four "delights" lined up. However there would be so many things to say I will limit myself to a few drafts... the sea view was blocked by the beach club packed with people, 12€ cover charge because we rightly limited ourselves to a first course each given the stress of the whole lunch. Now if you want to go to a place where you feel welcomed and not snubbed regardless, you want to eat and not go out hungry and not spend a kidney for nothing honestly I don't feel like recommending it to you. I'm sorry and we're sorry because we had placed a lot of trust and it's the first time in my entire life that I felt like writing a negative review.

30/05/2025: Esperienza al di sotto delle aspettative....siamo stai a pranzo in questo bel locale e le nostre aspettative sono state disattese...abbiamo preso delle buone cozze come antipasto ma gli spaghetti alle vongole erano sciapissimi, lo abbiamo fatto presente al cameriere che invece di scusarsi, come si conviene, ha detto che sarebbe andato a verificare in cucina (ovviamente non è tornato). Abbiamo infine preso il caffè che era pessimo, oltre al fatto che alcuni erano molto lunghi, un brodo.... Quando siamo andati in cassa invece di chiedere come eravamo stati hanno storto il naso per il fatto che avremmo pagato tutti con la carta....Locale bello ma poca attenzione al cliente....eravamo andati per provare per poi organizzare una cena di lavoro ma purtroppo non siamo rimasti soddisfatti.

27/05/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante per caso una sera in cui ero a Roma da sola per lavoro. Devo dire che ho mangiato davvero bene! La scelta è ampia: io ho mangiato del vitello con patate arrosto e cicoria ripassata. Pane buonissimo e un buon bicchiere di rosso. Persino l’ananas che mi sono concessa per chiudere la cena era squisito! Non economico ma in linea con i prezzi di Roma. Menzione speciale per il servizio: accogliente e molto gradevole. Raccomandato.

19/05/2025: A Napoli team restaurante, we walked in upon the lasting minutes of a pivotal game in Seriè A with patrons and servers eyes glued to the screen alike, service was still fast and top notch. Great smiles and attentive, amazing place to eat.

11/05/2025: Excellent napolitan dishes. We took mozzarella balls as aperitivos & pizzas each( around 10€ eeach). Very tasty, non expensive. Make pré-réservations. If friday/ saturday night.

12/06/2025: Loved it! Some of the food didn’t look like it would taste the way it did, some looked like a work of art. All of it was incredible and enjoyable. Service and wines were excellent, too.

10/06/2025: Disappointing. It seems that not much remains of the excellent impression I had 3 years ago at the first tasting that was sensational. The environment is less cared for, it was hot and noisy and uncomfortable (bar area). The wine list on the website is not updated and even one of the appetizers has undergone an unreported change (zucchini instead of artichokes... it may seem like a small thing but in Rome the artichoke should be sacred). Short and unbalanced menu on bold combinations. Some very disappointing dishes: fusilli with cod cold and sticky as well as with an imprecise and not up to par final taste. A handful of asparagus presented as a second course at the incredible price of €26. Grilled fish covered in sauces that make it unrecognizable to the sight and taste. Other things fortunately more focused but overall the order of our table far below expectations. Service always courteous and prepared. Our bill was certainly weighed down by the wine but overall my feeling is that we didn't spend the beauty of €100 per person well at all, which in Rome is more than enough for much more satisfying gastronomic experiences.

20/05/2025: I rarely write negative reviews. Service is too pushy, the waiters are so fast that they take your plate away even if you haven't finished or in any case they don't let you eat in peace, putting their arms in front of their faces without caring about the fact that we were eating, taking confidences that in a place like this and considering the bill to pay at the end I don't expect. The place looks well-kept and the meat is certainly quality but it's the first time I've seen it arrive at the table already cut instead of being cut in front of the customer. We won't be back.

03/05/2025: Una passeggiata a Gaeta alla ricerca di una buona "tiella",inoltrandoci tra i vicoli che intersecano il bellissimo e assolato lungomare scopriamo uno scorcio veramente incantevole e poco affollato...incuriosito entriamo e..meraviglia un ambiente molto rustico ma nello stesso tempo accurato ricavato da una antica cantna(si parla del 1800) sovrastante una grande cisterna d'acqua visibile in più punti vetrati del pavimento...fotografie a non finire,ma andiamo al dunque:ottima tinella composta da vari assaggi per degustare le tipologie,senza parole condita a dovere e croccante....il personale molto socievole e incoraggiante al dialogo con tutti i commensali...prezzo/qualità ottimo...che dire cj ritornerò per provare il lato ristorante che promette bene...consiglio vivamente

01/06/2025: We returned to this place after a long time and honestly we were a bit disappointed. The octopus meatballs didn't taste like octopus, the fried brie was nothing special, the hamburger was good but the fries were immersed in oil, the cooked cheesecake was always very good but we didn't like the "fresh" one, as well as the apple crumble which was soggy. In short, only the cooked cheesecake was worth it, in addition to the waitress who served us at the table, very kind and professional.
