Excellent traditional Italian food

I think I might be review #600 for this place, and I have to start by saying; this pasta was absolutely delicious! I genuinely loved every bite. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and honestly one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. Definitely worth it!

We had just finished walking around the Vatican museums and we were very tired. It was around 4, we didn't want to walk much for food but didn't want to pay too much either. We saw some decent reviews and decided to take a seat. It's a great family restaurant, I loved the vibe of it, the restaurant had typical Italian decorations, some nice music would've suited the vibe but the food was GREAT. Everything about the food was amazing, the pasta sauce was great, the crust of the pizza thin and crispy how we like it and the toppings pretty nicely organised. The waiters weren't especially inviting, but they weren't rude. They looked as if they wanted to take a nap, they did take a while to clear our plates but other than that it was all good. The prices were affordable for the location and place we were at. We had also the Capresse salad which was great, a bit small for the price but was very tasty. There was 4 of us, we ordered 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, a salad, a 1l water bottle and a coke. Would come here again for a quick dinner.

We had the brochette (spelling) and the pizza funghi and the pizza was really good. Very simple and fresh tasting on a thin crust. They do charge a service fee of $3 but don’t ask for a tip. Our server spoke English which was easy but wasn’t very talkative. Nice setting and very close to the Vatican. I’d come back. Oh the pizza was $11 eu and was 4 slices about 10 inch.

Tucked away not far from the Vatican, this quiet little spot has great food with good service, and a reasonable price.

The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, unlike the street, and I think I understand why. The food feels a bit like instant food, but it's good for a casual meal. The server who was serving the food spilled crumbs on my leg and didn't apologize. I asked for fresh fruit juice, but she gave me Fanta. I don't think I'll be back.

A small, unpretentious restaurant right next to the Vatican. A pleasant surprise, considering the value for money and the friendly welcome. Very quick service, excellent pizzas, highly recommended!
