23/02/2025: I returned after a year, the pizza was good but I was dissatisfied with the price of a glass of sparkling Galera wine, which sold by the half liter costs 6.50, which I did then I took a glass (never mind the quantity) and they charged me 4.00 euros. NOT GOOD.

21/02/2025: There were 4 of us for lunch, excellent pizza but we were unhappy about one thing, we ordered half a liter of sparkling Galera, €6.50, then at the end of the meal, a glass of galera (also a negligible quantity) €4.00, there is something to review, dear managers, because some little things make the difference with others.

06/02/2025: Special mention to the waiter Alessandro who received us, served and advised us with great skill, he also speaks all languages, yesterday he worked there in Spanish, German and English. All the dishes were a success but I especially want to highlight the fry and its lime sauce, which had light touches of everything, flavors of the sea, flavors of Trieste with the sardines, something exotic with the lime, something Asian with a reminiscence of tempura and with just the right touch of salt. The fried prawns were a delicacy, you could eat them whole, head and tail, they melted in your mouth. Compared to the sea in a bag, what can I say, the broth in the background of the dish was heavenly, mixed with the fish it was the perfect match. Chef Michele kindly closed the evening with an excellent final proposal. We want to come back again, and try the chocolate meat before they close for end of season.

12/01/2025: Menzione speciale al cameriere Alessandro che ci ha ricevuto, servito e consigliato con grande bravura, inoltre parla tutte le lingue, ieri ci ha lavorato in spagnolo, tedesco e inglese. Tutti i piatti sono stati un successo ma voglio fare una menzione speciale alla frittura e alla sua salsa al lime, che aveva tocchi leggeri di tutto, sapori di mare, sapori triestini con i sardoni, qualcosa di esotico con il lime, di asiatico con una reminiscenza alla tempura e con il giusto tocco di sale. I gamberi fritti erano una prelibatezza, si potevano mangiare così interi, testa e coda, si scioglievano in bocca. Rispetto al mare in un sachetto, che dire, il brodino nel sottofondo del piatto era paradisiaco, misto al pesce era l'abbinamento perfetto. Lo chef Michele ha gentilmente chiuso la serata con un'ottima proposta finale. Vogliamo tornare di nuovo, e provare la carne al cioccolato prima che chiudano per fine della stagione.

The wait was a little long for the second course which was a fried dish, well done but I would have expected some small fish that weren't there. Very good desserts. Very complete wine list. Overall very positive experience. Courteous and attentive service. Online price. I recommend it

08/02/2025: Ristorante molto carino, gestito da ragazzi giovani molto bravi e gentili. Abbiamo provato il loro menù degustazione e ci è piaciuto molto. Soprattutto il rombo fritto con le cime di rapa ed il dessert che era veramente sorprendente e divertente! Prezzo allineato alla qualità delle materie prime ed alla particolarità delle portate proposte. Assolutamente consigliato!

13/01/2025: Loved the food and the waitress with grandma from Buje, Istria. Not expensive, quite local, a lot of good Croatian wines. Apetizers were great. Bread could be better, but nevermind that. We will come again.

04/02/2025: Nice and good. Friendly and approachable but without being intrusive. I appreciated everything about this little place in the center of Trieste. Amazing mix of starters, I tried creamed cod, anchovies in saor, scallops au gratin but above all the octopus was amazing. The first was an excellent and plentiful spaghetti with seafood. Highly recommended

16/02/2025: Personally the best pizzeria in Trieste. Discovered by chance, it turned out to be a gem. Wide choice of pizzas also with local ingredients, unquestionable quality, very fast service and friendly staff. I also recommend the Italian starter: plentiful and delicious. Prices are competitive. There is not only pizza, it is also possible to order first and second courses.

11/02/2025: A dive into the elegance of the past! the place is beautiful, with stuccoes, bas-reliefs and lit candelabras. Elegant and refined atmosphere of mid-Europe. The food was excellent, the fresh fish expertly enhanced by the chef and presented very well. a particular note of merit goes to the waiters who added to the professionalism and impeccable service so much interesting historical and literary information on the restaurant and the dishes. The bill was a favorable surprise in relation to the quality and raw material. a truly enjoyable evening and worth repeating.

05/03/2025: Sono stato in questo locale per cena con amici lo scorso weekend. Locale molto piccolo e intimo, cucina in sala. Menu completamente a base di pesce. Abbiamo preso degli antipasti misti (molto buoni), e dei fritti misti, sempre come antipasto. Sicuramente una delle fritture più buone mai mangiate! Poi rombo e branzino freschi, davvero buoni. Ottimo anche il vino della casa. Servizio cordiale anche se un pò lento. Prezzi a mio giudizio un pò alti nel complesso. Consiglio a chi ama il pesce e la buona cucina!
