30/03/2025: The atmosphere reminds of a pub, in reality it is more of a wine bar, suitable both for an aperitif with a glass of wine and canapés and for dinner, in the historic center. We come back here every year because the staff are kind and attentive and the food they offer is of high quality. Among the wines there is always something typical to try or some new winery. This time we tried the steak with potatoes and vegetables on the side, also exceptional. We will come back again to enjoy this place

27/02/2025: Booked for the fireworks show in Lignano…. We sat down immediately and within an hour we had dinner and left. Such perfect organization is not often seen, in fact almost never, because the people queuing for dinner never ended and everyone sat down and had dinner in just a few minutes. 01/03/2025: Why 5 stars? Simply because the pizzas have an excellent dough with the right crust of fragrance and crunchiness and never rubbery, and the toppings are quality and abundant. The restaurant part also stands out for good quality and quantity. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The place is welcoming. High quality / price ratio. We always go back willingly.

12/03/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria storica del paese di Latisana in provincia di Udine a mezz'ora dal mare di Lignano Sabbiadoro. Locale informale, personale gentile, prezzi nella norma. Consiglio la Buonissima Pizza Marinara con salsa di pomodoro, pomodorini freschi, basilico e aglio fresco. Buona la Pizza Margherita e la Patatosa.

I suggest they go to dinner for example at Eden in Sistiana to see what the raw fish plateau should be like (for the record x10)... place crossed out

15/03/2025: Recommended by the owner of the hotel, I went without hope or too many expectations (disappointed too many times by the "excellent miocuggino restaurant") I changed my mind as soon as I entered: nice place, EXCELLENT food and quick, impeccable and professional service.

16/02/2025: This was a well ahead planned dinner with my family. We made a reservation 10 days in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised that our reservation was missing and we did not get a table. We had to leave with two hungry children and to search for alternatives ... :(

16/02/2025: My daughter and grandchildren invited me to Sunday dinner. We had already planned the meeting for a long time. Unfortunately our reservation was forgotten and we had to quickly find something else with the hungry grandchildren. A sad Sunday for us.

24/03/2025: I often go to Udine to visit my grandchildren and take them out for lunch! It is the first time, however, that we have gone to the Golden Bell! I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the place and the excellent welcome of the staff! We ate the excellent pizza, which the grandchildren found delicious! I ate an excellent fried calamari! I will definitely be back! A place to recommend to friends!

23/03/2025: EXCELLENT restaurant pizzeria (Neapolitan) in the heart of Udine. Phenomenal pizza with a soft and tasty dough. Exquisite appetizers and with always fresh and quality products, served with Love and sympathy.... Amazing Angus steak.... Excellent service with always helpful and cheerful staff... Phenomenal desserts (lemon delight and tiramisu) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

17/02/2025: Were here in summer 2024. Maybe it depends on the waiter in charge. At the end of the meal, an envelope containing the bill is placed on the table. We put the money (+ tip) in the envelope and left, like we did 10 times before. This time an employee ran after us and claimed that there wasn't enough in it. Since there were four of us and everyone counted the money again, it was unlikely. Ok if you spoil someone's desire for the admittedly fantastic food and don't want them to come back. Hope the few euros were worth it

16/02/2025: Locale estremamente turistico, che mi è parso più orientato e attento a soddisfare le esigenze dei vacanzieri (soprattutto stranieri) che poi sono anche quelle che fanno incassi ‘facili’ piuttosto che affermare una ristorazione tipica nazionale e ‘personale’. Il che si traduce a mio avviso in piatti discreti, ben presentati, corretti se non abbondanti (i primi) nelle porzioni, ma che non hanno niente né di casalingo né di raffinato e innovativo. Una buona cucina standardizzata, con ingredienti di qualità ma presumibilmente non di mercato, proposta ad un prezzo corretto. Così si riesce sicuramente a soddisfare con successo una certa tipologia di turismo, sicuramente non quella che in una località di mare è alla ricerca di un po’ di schietta tipicità. La mia esperienza passa attraverso degli abbondanti spaghetti alle vongole (troppi, a mio avviso ma forse devono ‘sostenere’ il prezzo di 13,50 euro) e una frittura di calamari (15 euro, pesante e priva del sapore della freschezza di mare). Con un quarto di vino bianco della Casa (3,50 euro) e il coperto (2,50 euro) spendo 34,50 euro. Tempi di servizio biblici probabilmente per un incidente di percorso: la mia comanda si era ‘persa’ per strada. Ambiente curato, così come l’apparecchiatura.

19/02/2025: Pizzeria El Mordisco – Excellent Meat and Pizza in Company El Mordisco is one of our favorite places to spend an evening with friends. In addition to the pizza, which is always good and well cooked, here we also find high quality meat: the cuts and entrane are always excellent, tasty and cooked to perfection. The environment is welcoming, the service fast and the staff friendly, which makes every visit a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a place to enjoy an excellent dinner with friends, El Mordisco is certainly a winning choice!
