18/05/2026: A little hidden gem, located a bit off the main promenade. Delicious food with exceptionally friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The only drawbacks are its location right on the main road and the fact that there's no smoking ban in the outdoor seating area (which was covered with tarpaulins during our visit).

20/05/2026: A standard question to the owner about how the turkey is cooked (sometimes the turkey is a bit stringy, due to the texture of the white meat, not due to a fault on the part of the chef...)... Answer: "I don't know where you usually eat, but we cook well here." 🙄 A little taken aback by the response, I let it go out of respect for my guests... I'm used to answering politely when asked questions politely. In any case, the meal was good, and I recommend going...perhaps without asking too many questions. 😜 The two guys were kind and professional.

09/08/2026: I've been several times, and overall the experience has always been good. Last time, however, the lobster in the spaghetti dish wasn't very fresh, and the claw meat wasn't cooked thoroughly. Finally, I couldn't resist asking the waiter if it was live. He assured me it was, but I remained skeptical. The waiters are still very kind and courteous. I'll continue to come and try other dishes.

09/08/2026: One August evening, it was 38 degrees outside, we were in a sauna, eating and sweating at the same time.... Total confusion. We all ordered at the same time, but the order was activated at different times; one was eating, the other was looking, never seen before.... Decent food, high prices.... I asked for bread and breadsticks, and I'm still waiting.... There are much better things around here.... PS: A waiter who allows himself to offend 6-year-olds who were wearing a soccer jersey different from his favorite team, I assume, by saying "Aren't you ashamed?" Embarrassing

15/12/2025: Believe me, the pizza at this place is extraordinary, sublime, superb. You can tell a good pizza just by looking at it... Number One's cooking method makes it the best pizza I've had in a while!!! Fresh ingredients, not too few, not too many. The perfect pizza. And not only that, but also the eggplant, the fried calamari... Enza the chef works magic with her hands, and Lina makes the restaurant a welcoming and family-friendly place. The sausage and broccoli rabe are just too much!

06/12/2025: Fabulous pizzeria! Among the delicious pizzas, I recommend the panuozzo. Try it and believe it. The owner, Mr. Ciccio, is great.

10/08/2026: We visited this restaurant based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't as good; in fact, I must say that the quality of the food compared to the asking price was far from positive. After a mixed seafood appetizer, passable for the asking price of €25, we were treated to a plate of spaghetti with clams, similar to glue, and a plate of seafood linguine drowned in cooking water and sauce. When I mentioned the problem to the waitress, she replied that it was normal. The head waiter subsequently removed the seafood dish from my bill. I have to give credit for that, even if it wasn't served, to make the dinner a positive one. In my opinion, it's a tourist restaurant with top-notch prices. It doesn't work.

10/05/2026: A popular restaurant and pizzeria in Udine, always a guarantee. The dishes are all excellent quality, and even the wood-fired pizzas are delicious. The staff is courteous and welcoming, and they try to accommodate all their guests' requests. Their pastries are also worth trying; the desserts are truly delicious.

18/02/2026: I visited Afro on Sundays at noon. Entering this restaurant is like taking a dive into the roots of Friuli. Everything here speaks of Friuli: the staff, the dishes served, and the atmosphere. Here, you can taste Coradazzi Prosciutto sliced ​​with a flywheel slicer, a cutting system that enhances the flavor of the prosciutto like no other. You can see the slicer in the main room, all red and shiny, proudly displayed.

16/07/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and were truly satisfied. We ordered seafood and were impressed by the excellent quality of the ingredients: fresh fish, very well cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable and fully in line with the quality offered. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in Trieste.

13/07/2026: An excellent experience just steps from Piazza Unità. Generous dishes, good quality, and courteous service. We ordered the large hot and cold antipasto (special mention for the creamed cod) and the large Malcanton fritto misto (a very generous dish, not suitable for those with a light appetite), all washed down with a nice Prosecco (Col de Mez). Prices were reasonable and clearly displayed.

12/08/2026: One of my best restaurant experiences in Italy so far! The food was very tasty, well-seasoned, and nicely plated. The waiters were so kind and hospitable. We tried some desserts too, they were incredible, I haven’t tasted such a light and creamy tiramisu. The semifreddo was also fantastic, and don’t miss the mille feuille if you visit here! It was outstanding. The location of the restaurant was pleasant. All in all we had a great dinner here

10/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome right from the start, which seems to have become quite rare in this city, especially during peak season. The staff was always very friendly, and we were able to enjoy our meal to the very end without any stress. The food was excellent; from the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, there was absolutely nothing to criticize. Truly delicious 😋. Highly recommended if you're looking for a lovely Italian restaurant with cloth napkins, good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and incredibly friendly staff.

09/05/2026: I would give this place zero Stars if I could. The cover charge of 4 Euros is ridiculous. They also charge 4 euros for a bottle of water and they only have one size no smaller bottles available. The staff was rude and inattentive. I waited 10 minutes and no one came to take my order so I got up and left. No way would I ever set foot in this place again

Excellent and carefully prepared pizza 🍕 Fish for being in the center of Udine, with a great selection and fresh.... I'd say you can come in. Those who pass by won't be disappointed.
