17/04/2026: …I stopped at this place!!…”Ai Tre Soldi”!!…large and welcoming environment!!…with a group of people on a trip organized by an agency in my city!!…which as per the plan!!…we were visiting Trieste!!…Duino and then Gorizia!!…in fact for lunch!!…the last day before returning here!!…it was our lunch break!!…the place is a famous restaurant located right in the historic center of the city!!…but about a couple of years ago it changed management!!…unfortunately before arriving here!!…for reasons still unknown!!…half of the group had intestinal problems!!…me included!!…so the guide ordered plain rice and boiled potatoes!!…obviously for those who had problems!!…for the others there was the normal menu!!…unfortunately something went wrong!!…my plain rice!!…was inedible!!…overcooked!!…very slow service!!…there was only one person working in Hall!!…what can I say!!…it must have been a coincidence!!…but in my opinion!!…something went wrong!!…here!!…at the “Ai Tre Soldi” restaurant!!…in the historic center of Gorizia!!…⬇️🇸🇮🍽️🍛🧑‍🍳🇮🇹⬆️🎉

18/06/2025: I was there this morning, the brioche was very good but I was really shocked by the rudeness of the girl who replaces Cristina, I had already had the opportunity to see it and I had also heard about it. I basically went to pay and she asked me if I paid for everything, I told her yes, she gave me the bill and when I went out I checked and saw that she had added to the bill the 2 cappuccinos that 5 minutes before a friend of ours had gone to pay for himself, I went back in, I asked her if she remembered this person because I didn't want her to think I was ripping her off, she didn't even listen to me, she got angry saying that I was the one who had to tell her what we had and that she didn't know if they had paid for the cappuccinos because there were 100 of us, actually there were 7 of us! I described the gentleman to her but she talked over me! There weren't many people and she remembered all our drinks very well but not that they had paid for 2 cappuccinos 5 minutes before??? Come on! And in any case a little calm and good manners wouldn't hurt!

17/05/2026: Four of us went here for lunch today, and the experience was excellent in every way. To keep things light, we all started with an appetizer, then shared two grilled dishes and a mixed fried fish. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and not at all heavy: everything was truly delicious, and the portions were so large that we were completely full and satisfied. We also had a table overlooking the sea, so the view was also very pleasant. The place itself is simple, but that doesn't mean the service suffers: the staff is attentive, fast, and friendly. An excellent place for a high-quality seafood lunch, highly recommended!

11/05/2026: The only small flaw in the room was the hairdryer. I usually bring one, but I was cycling. Otherwise, I had a wonderful time, and special mention goes to the excellent restaurant and the warm welcome. Thank you!

25/02/2026: An elegant and intimate restaurant nestled in a historic setting. The dishes are well-prepared, but the portions seemed a bit small. The service was attentive and friendly, although the kitchen wait time was long. The prices were above expectations for the amount ordered.

18/04/2026: Tonight I ordered pizzas for takeout. Of the six pizzas, including one fried one, unfortunately only the fried one was good. It's a shame, because I find the pizza dough very good, but all the others were burnt, or rather, charred... I have photos of one of the six. I find this truly inexcusable. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

18/04/2026: For me, this pizzeria is the best within a radius of many kilometers, and certainly in Friuli! The pizza is authentic Neapolitan, with a soft and flavorful crust, a nice, plump and inviting crust, and meticulous attention to ingredients and cooking. Every dish is a work of art. If you love authentic pizza, this is a must-visit! Caterina also pays special attention to your specific needs, so she offers a wide selection of vegan options and excellent gluten-free pizza.

26/04/2026: Lunch on a Sunday at the end of April (without having booked but available and kind): excellent spaghetti with clams and linguine with lobster (al dente), sea bass fillet with the perfect addition of creamed asparagus soup (not included in the menu), fair prices for the raw material and tourist location.

12/04/2026: We enjoyed four days in the beautiful old town of Grado. This visit was the best, both culinarily and culturally. An authentic Italian restaurant. We had a lovely evening with ravioli (spinach and fish) and pasta with scampi and limoncello. Friendly, attentive, and courteous service – pleasant conversations with the staff. You feel very welcome. Homemade food. 👌🏻
