07/03/2026: This evening we had dinner with friends during the early evening sitting (7-9pm). The food was all very good, both the starters and the pizzas. Unfortunately, one dish was taken away before we finished it. The only downside of the evening was the service: very rushed and cold; you could feel the rush. Furthermore, when paying, we weren't given the option to split the bill. It's a shame that such a refined atmosphere and good-quality food is ruined by staff who don't make you feel at ease.

07/03/2026: There were five of us for dinner. We were expecting a nice, quiet evening. Before booking, we were told there were two evening sittings: 7-9 PM and the other from 9 PM onward. We booked for the first sitting. We really appreciated the speed of service; the food was excellent, especially the pasta dishes and especially the pizzas! The only flaw, unfortunately, was the somewhat rude and cold staff. Especially the young woman with black hair, who didn't pay enough attention to the customers, responding rudely and without smiling. We appreciated the kindness of the young man with glasses, who asked several times if the dinner was good. Remember that, in addition to good food, it's important to make the customer feel welcome and not like they're being pressured.

11/01/2026: Seafood restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, with incredibly fresh fish and homemade pasta. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Highly recommended, don't miss it.

25/12/2025: Nice little cozy restaurant in the heart of Trieste. Not many tables but full of charm. Food was fresh, rich and amazing. Also the house wine was good too. Service was friendly and fast. We will come back for sure!

22/03/2026: I was with a group of 53 people. Despite the large number of portions to prepare at once, they were very kind, fast, and organized. Very good food and generous portions. The shortcrust pastry dessert baked in a wood-fired oven was splendid! Recommended!

22/03/2026: The atmosphere is spacious and noisy. The service is fast and professional. The food is unremarkable: both the spaghetti, meat, and fish were cooked adequately. There were a few initial hiccups, but they were quickly corrected.

29/11/2025: A quaint, family-run restaurant. We came here with a group of friends to try the bear dishes, which we were curious about. We all ordered gnocchi with bear ragù for the first course and stewed bear for the second. The dishes were good and plentiful, and the bear has an interesting, sweetish flavor. The service was very fast; we finished dinner in 45-50 minutes. The staff, though taciturn, were friendly and efficient. Personally, I wouldn't go back specifically for the bear, but I would come as a group with friends for a different kind of evening.

18/06/2025: I was there this morning, the brioche was very good but I was really shocked by the rudeness of the girl who replaces Cristina, I had already had the opportunity to see it and I had also heard about it. I basically went to pay and she asked me if I paid for everything, I told her yes, she gave me the bill and when I went out I checked and saw that she had added to the bill the 2 cappuccinos that 5 minutes before a friend of ours had gone to pay for himself, I went back in, I asked her if she remembered this person because I didn't want her to think I was ripping her off, she didn't even listen to me, she got angry saying that I was the one who had to tell her what we had and that she didn't know if they had paid for the cappuccinos because there were 100 of us, actually there were 7 of us! I described the gentleman to her but she talked over me! There weren't many people and she remembered all our drinks very well but not that they had paid for 2 cappuccinos 5 minutes before??? Come on! And in any case a little calm and good manners wouldn't hurt!

Aside from that, I'd appreciate the late check-in and the hospitality and professionalism. I had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed with soft pillows, a warm room, and a working bathroom. I would have given it a 5 if the price were slightly lower, since you can find even modern 4s with huge rooms for that price. I don't understand the point of the loud TV on the outside wall facing the street; in my opinion, it just creates a disturbance.

01/01/2026: The rooms are very nice, clean, and tidy. They even provide cookies, and it's very technologically advanced. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and it's in a great location, but the restaurant is separate from the rooms, so in the morning you have to walk a short distance to get there.

07/01/2026: It's taken me a while to write this review. I'm torn, but also disappointed by some impressions, which unfortunately I've reaffirmed from time to time when I frequent the restaurant. Some of the food seemed good, while others tasted like "cooking with leftovers" (e.g., meatballs, ragù, some side dishes, and even the bottles of wine, which are brought already opened). This wouldn't even be a bad idea these days, but it should be declared, including an explanation of what types of leftovers are used. I'd add, as others have already noted, that the menus promised for certain occasions often don't match the ones actually served, which are generally of a lower quality, while the price, alas, doesn't change. The service also varies greatly depending on the day; when there are more people, the wait becomes longer, making the experience less pleasant. I'd say that, in terms of value for money, perhaps the restaurant is trying to present itself at a higher level than it actually is.
